- Thomas (6/5): You don't come to Bahir Dar for the hotel - In an Ehiopian standard street (loud and dirty) a cockroach-infested (standard in a tropical city) Ethiopian standard hotel (built once, never maintained). Plus: 2 blocks/5 min from the lakeside boulevard Minus: They fail to keep the hustlers out of the hotel (pretend to work there). The free airport shuttle costs Birr 150.
