• Maria (7/5): Staff molto cordiale e posizione ottima - Staff cordiale e colazione di ottima qualità ed offerta varia. Il muro della doccia avrebbe bisogno di un pochino di manutenzione. L'hotel 4 stelle non ha il ristorante aperto né a pranzo né a cena. Per la cena è disponibile un albergo della stessa proprietà a qualche centinaio di metri su via Veneto.

• Sarah (5/5): Locked out at night! - Good location We were extremely disappointed with our experience returning to the hotel after an evening out. We had been assured that a night porter would be available at all times, yet when we arrived the hotel was completely locked. The phone number displayed on the door didn’t connect, leaving us with no way to reach anyone. We ended up waiting outside for around 30 minutes before the porter finally arrived. This was not only inconvenient but also felt unsafe, and it certainly didn’t reflect the level of service we were told to expect.

• Q5070CQgabrielaz (2/5): The worst hotel of my life - I want to share the bad experience I had during my stay at this "4 star" hotel. To begin with, breakfast was supposedly included, but we only received it on the first day; the rest of the time it was just coffee and stale pastries. The reason given was that there was a problem, but they never told us what it was. Later we found out that the real reason was that we were only two of us guests throughout the entire hotel. What happened next was the following: Firstly, Saturday night at around 11:00 p.m., when we went down to the reception area in order to leave the hotel, we found that there was no staff member present. We spent a long time calling from the reception desk without receiving any response, and the exit door was locked, preventing us from leaving the hotel. Eventually, we managed to exit on our own, by removing a security latch from the door, as no one came to assist us. A few minutes after we left, we received a phone call from the receptionist, presumably because the record of our unanswered calls from the empty reception had been registered. We informed her that we were guests and had already left the hotel due to the absence of staff. Secondly, when we returned to the hotel at around 2:00 a.m., we again found that the reception was completely unattended and that all access doors were locked,, preventing us from entering. We attempted to contact the hotel staff by calling 15 times the phone number posted on the door. The receptionist answered only once, saying she “did not understand,” and then did not answer again, leaving us without assistance. We remained outside for approximately two hours, in low temperatures, without any help. Finally, some police officers who were in the area they helped us us, First by knocking on the door, then by phone to the reception numbers, and even by turning on the lights and the siren of the patrol car, with the intention that someone would come out from inside the hotel. Finally, the police managed to open a side door that was not the usual hotel entrance, once again demonstrating the lack of supervision and security of the hotel. I consider that the total absence of staff on both occasions, the impossibility of leaving or entering the hotel, the lack of response despite repeated calls, and the lack of control over access points are extremely serious issues that compromise the safety, peace of mind, and service quality that a four-star establishment is expected to provide.

• Nico (7/5): - Zeer goede locatie, Het hotel ligt op 15 minuten stappen vanaf station Roma Termini, alsook het (drukke) centrum ligt op 15 minuten stappen. Wij hadden aangegeven dat we rond 11u zouden aankomen in het hotel en onze kamer was klaargemaakt om direct in te checken. Ontbijt was voldoende gevarieerd. Kamer vertoont wel wat kleine tekortkomingen, in het bijzonder in het sanitair gedeelte (deur sloot niet, kraan wastafel bleef druppen). Ook een afsluitend gordijn aan het raam (tov de straatkant) ontbrak in het sanitair deel. Grootste nadeel was dat het lang wachten was op voldoende warm water om te douchen.
• Victor Fernando (5/5): Hotel caro para o que é oferecido. - Café da manhã bom, apesar de não ter reposição e quando o produto acaba, ficam sem repor por vários dias. A localização é boa. Apesar do hotel ficar próximo a uma rua com ladeira, fica a poucos metros do metrô e ônibus. O hotel apesar de ser avaliado como 4 estrelas, não tem o conforto esperado. As persianas são velhas e quebradas, onde a luminosidade atrapalha muito o sono. A cama é muito baixa e apesar do anúncio ser descrita como cama de casal, são 2 camas de solteiro juntas.

Essentially less than 12-15 minutes walking from everywhere centrally located. Via del Corse, Trevi Fountains, etc. All were so close. Super safe and many things like restuarants in the neighborhood. After 11am we noticed no hot water. We just took showers earlier. Otherwise, it was great.

• Markus (8/5): Gutes Hotel für einen tollen Romurlaub - Das Familienzimmer hat einen "2. Stock" im Zimmer für die Kinder. Das Bett ist über eine im Kasten versteckte Treppe erreichbar und ein tolles Abenteuer für Kinder. Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und qualitativ ausgezeichnet. Der Sanitärbereich hatte einen Wasserschaden und Warmwasser gab es erst nach Reklamation. Diese wurde aber umgehend bearbeitet und das Problem gelöst.

• Rishal (6/5): - No much Firstly when we arrived we were told that they needed to give our room to a business man and to walk down the road to their other hotel and stay the night there and come back tomorrow like what the hell!! After asking for a refund they somehow managed to accomodate for us. Secondly we requested a large bed, as normal like other hotels they join the two single beds together however the gap in-between the matress was ridiculous and the two sides weren't even on the same level and was very uncomfortable. Thirdly, the toilet situation was just wrong, the bathroom has no door just a curtain need i say more. I was really looking forward to spending my ladt 3 days in italy but this just honestly put a damper on everything and they really didn't care at all. Lastly for the price they charge never again will I stay here or go to Italy for that matter.

• Kirstie (10/5): Would stay again. Price + Location ✨ - Great location close to the popular sites, very safe, walking in the area even after dark was fine. The hotel staff especially Manuel Jos(who deserves a raise) and the breakfast staff are kind and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Breakfast options were plentiful (American breakfast, fresh fruit and yogurt, meats, cheeses etc) and as soon as they run out they are replenished. We chose this property after having an issue at another accommodation booking and even though they had no idea of this they made up for that experience 100%. The rooms could use a deeper cleaning. Cleaning staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful when we needed them. This issue is due to owners/management specifically not guiding them properly. I lost something in the area of the sink and had to go under the sink insert which was filthy(hair, grime & who knows what else) I was grossed out.

Odaları temizdi her gün oda servisi vardı, havlular ve çarşaflar değiştirildi bu çok beğendiğim bir şeydi. Kahvaltı açık büfe ve gayet yeterliydi. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve yardım severdi. Oda maalesef küçüktü fiyat performans olarak bence kötüydü. Çift kişilik yatak seçmiş olmama rağmen iki tek kişilik yatak birleştirilmişti, çok rahatsız ediciydi. Sabahları sırt ağrısıyla uyandık. Odanın küçük olması sebebiyle tuvalet için yeterli mahremiyet yoktu maalesef. Otelin valiz emaneti kısmından başka bir çiftin tüm çantaları çalındı ve güvenlik sorunu rahatsız ediciydi.

El desayuno muy bueno y completo . Los cuartos daban a la calle pero las ventanas eran súper herméticas, no se escuchaba un solo ruido . La única crítica es que el ascensor no funcionaba
• Margaret (2/5): Very, very dissatisfied. - It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The lift wasn’t working, the hotel lost hot water for a few hours. We had to fix the shower. There wasn’t a chef so no restaurant facilities. Overall the hotel did not have the facilities that it said it did.

The breakfast was terrible. There was never enough staff so that when the front desk staff needed a break she locked the door and guests had to await her return to enter the hotel. The morning desk clerk didn’t speak or understand English very well. After speaking to the manager he offered no remedy to our issues, just said the next time we visited the hotel the issues would not exist.

• Wanderer767903 (10/5): Fantastic Stay – Perfect Location, Wonderful Staff, and Great for Families! - Perfect base for exploring the city. Just a few steps from the Metro, we got everywhere with ease with lots of sights within walking distance. Rooms were comfortable with great beds, fab air con, and rainfall showers. The staff were very welcoming and full of great local tips. Loved relaxing on the rooftop terrace after a day sightseeing. The hotel is fantastic for families — we even had our own “wing”! Breakfast was generous with a great selection and something for everyone. We’ll definitely be back!

• James (7/5): Clean and basic. Great location but overpriced - The location is excellent and was perfect for access to lots of sights. The cost of the hotel was above what was offered. For instances the lobby wasn’t open 24hrs and after 1am you had to call a number to get someone to come and open the door. The hotel rooms were clean but nothing special. The staff were polite but not overly welcoming. The lobby was tiny and was a bar, reception all at once.

Reception staff, especially Francesca, were so welcoming and helpful at all times. Also loved the front bar and snacks that were offered! No real closet, but we worked around it easily.

• Addrienne (8/5): Comfortable stay at a hotel in a great location. Amazing helpful staff - The staff are incredible. So helpful and friendly. Great location centrally located and easily walkable to Rome’s historical sites. Breakfast was good. Lots of selection. Great large bath towels The blinds in the rooms did not close properly so the room was super bright as soon as the sun rose. The beds are super low and soft. You couldn’t control the air conditioning from the room. No where to put your clothes away so have to move out of the suitcase. There is a thermostat but no matter what we set the temperature at it always went back to 20 degrees Celsius.

Viva la Roma. - Mira, Manuel, and the whole team at the Hotel Royal Bissolati were welcoming, culturally aware, informative, and brought a happy experience to my first visit to Rome. Mira spoke with me on Booking.com to help with any concerns I might have. I liked that she knew who I was when I arrived at the hotel. Information on transportation, shopping, tourist attractions, Roman history. Manuel works on night shifts and is attentive, extra warm, and kind. He, too, informed me about Rome's activities and transportation. He prepared breakfast for me as I had an early flight back. 5/5 Breakfast and Room is photogenic as the pictures. Bedroom comfortable. Shower hot. Location incredible. I visited the Colosseo, Roman Forum, Vatican City, St Peters Dome (HUGE) Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Largo di Torre Argentina, etc. Nearest station: Barberini, get the €4.50 (inc card). Shopping at Via del Tritone, Via del Corso. Eating? Visit: Antica Salumeria, Appetito, etc. Too much. Enjoy! USB port by bed is worn out by too many people, so bring your own. Otherwise great!
• Tanya (8/5): Beautiful location, very near train station - beautiful place, great location, very central, Mira was very helpful 😃 The staff hassled us multiple times about only staying one night, it got to a point of awkwardness! so make sure you stay multiple nights 😂
• mrrvzaytsev (4/5): It’s cold like in a 4-star tombstone… not for your comfortable living - Positive - Nice location away from the crowds - Nice design of the room - Helpful administrators - Cocktail bar on a terrace after 6pm Negative - Not suitable for families and kids as it’s very cold in November as they have a central control of the AC and you can’t do anything about that - Not comfy in the room, everything is about design but not about comfortable living - You can hear other guests around - No carpets on the floor and it force you to wear the shoes or slippers as otherwise you can get cold - There are still renovation works inside the building - If you want to try a triangle elevator this is your chance - Blackouts on windows don’t work - No wardrobes and shelves to you stuff - Average breakfast - Smoky room

• Quentin (2/5): RUN FROM IT ! - RUN ! I would never suggest this hotel. I had to change 4 times of room as each of them had issues : handles broken, phone broken, no window, sink leaking in various rooms, windows that could not close (funny enough, the owner told me it was not big of a deal). Managers even tried to put me in a lesser category. And last but not least, a party got organized for the 16 ish kid of the owners and the roof. Result ? Kids running in the whole hotel, many clients complaint, heavy music until after 1am. Only owner word : come drink with us, it will pass quicker. Again, run. I have to congratulate the only hotel staff hotel who was cared and who was competent, Giulia. You are a rock to be able to stay there.

• aizeleo (2/5): Warning! Avoid this Hotel!!!! Please! - Warning: AVOID THIS HOTEL! I want to warn anyone considering a stay at this hotel. My husband and I booked a stay from September 27-30 to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Due to my father-in-law’s health issues, we had to bring our two children along (3 & 11) but my husband forgot to update our booking. Upon arrival, the receptionist loudly informed us that we could not stay in the double room. I was embarrassed on how she was talking to my husband, I am just so glad no one is in the reception during that time. We were demanded to pay 240 Euros per night, totaling 720 Euros for our stay, which was far too high for what we received. We were being taken advantage of in a stressful situation. We know that we are at fault as well but charging us 240 euros per night was unreasonable! The room was so small, good thing the 4 of us manage to fit on one bed. After this, I hurriedly double check the rest of our hotel bookings on this Europe tour and unfortunately on our Florence hotel our children was not included as well. I immediately called the hotel and to my surprise they said if we wanted additional bed they will charge 10 Euros per night but if we dont then there will be no charge at all with free breakfast for all of us! If you’re looking for a hotel that values its guests and handles situations fairly, look elsewhere. This hotel will rip you off and take advantage of you. Please be cautious before booking or do not book at all.

• soniadS1072EI (10/5): Great stay - Nice, spacious, clean room with a king bed. The lack of a closet was a bit awkward, but otherwise the room entirely met our needs. Comfortable bed and great water pressure for the shower. Also great breakfast buffet. Centrally located. 5-minute walk to Piazza Barberini and its metro. But what really makes the difference is the staff. They are ultra helpful and Judy at the breakfast buffet never stops and still always has a pleasant greeting and a smile.
