• Bauer (7/5): - Tolles Ambiente im gesamten Haus, wir waren sehr beeindruckt 👍 Das Frühstücksbuffet war eher durchschnittlich...vom gesamten Eindruck des Hauses zu schließen hätten wir uns da tatsächlich mehr erwartet.
• Erwin (10/5): alles in allem aber sehr gut, das erhaltene und eingebaute ambiente ist gut. - an der rezeption fand ein empfang statt, sodaß ich sie überhaupt nicht erkennen konnte. bin etwas herum gelaufen bis ein mitarbeiter meine situation erkannt hat und mich ohne worte ( wegen dem lärm )eingecheckt hat. wenn man es weiß ist es kein problem, beim ersten mal was es verwirrend.

• Thomas (10/5): - Freundlicher Empfang, Haustiere willkommen, Natur direkt vor derHaustür, mittelalterliche Location in schönem (Erhaltungs-) Zustand.
• Claudia (10/5): Es war eine besondere Übernachtungsstätte, wirklich ein Schloss. - Die Ausstattung des Hotels war außergewöhnlich, es war wirklich eine Schlossausstattung :-). Die Auswahl an Käse und Wurst zum Frühstück war eingeschränkt und es gab nur einen Kaffeeautomaten zur Selbstbedienung.

• Gabriele (8/5): - schönes und geräumiges Zimmer gute Lage zum Bahnhof und zum Schlossfest freundliches Personal gutes und ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet richtig tolles Schlossfest (trotz gelegentlichem Regen) es kam kein Zimmermädchen, um das Zimmer zu richten ( Müll entsorgen, Handtücher austauschen,....)

• Andrea (7/5): Convenient and good value. - This property is located one hour train ride out of Munich. It is on the Munich -Prague train line and a short 10 minute walk to the station. It is much cheaper to stay here when there are festivals on in Munich and room rates triple hence our stay here. Take note Oktoberfest goers! The room was comfortable and it was in a peaceful quiet setting. The breakfast buffet had a good choice of hot and cold foods. There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves good quality meals. Cheaper options available in the town include a pizzeria, cafe and bakery. There is no window in the bathroom. The light switch is linked to the extractor system and it is very noisy and runs for about twenty minutes. Don’t turn on the light if you get up in the night for a pee or everyone will be awake including the room next door.

• Christian (10/5): Der beste Ort für ein Krimidinner - Wir waren mal wieder zu einem Krimidinner vor Ort und haben ein sehr schönes Zimmer im 2. Stock des Schlosses bekommen. Service und Essen wie immer hervorragend und Krimidinner ebenfalls äußerst unterhaltsam. Ein Ausflug tagsüber nach Landshut auf die Burg Trausnitz lohnt sich.
• Christian (10/5): Hier bleiben wir immer wieder gerne! - Wir hatten einen weiteren schönen Abend mit wunderbarem Service beim Gruseldinner. Das Essen war wie immer hervorragend und ein absoluter Genuss. Der nächste Besuch ist bereits geplant.
• Christian (10/5): Ideale Unterkunft nach dem Ritteressen im Keller - Zum wiederholten Male hatten wir einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dieses Mal waren wir mal wieder zum Ritteressen im Schloss und hatten ein sehr uriges Zimmer im 2. Stock des Schlosses unterm Dach. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, die historischen Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und der Service ist hervorragend. Auch das Essen beim Gruseldinner war erstklassig.

• 89reneec (6/5): Something about the town had a strong bad smell - I had a hard time deciding how many stars to give this review. The hotel itself was fantastic - easily 5 stars. Something in the town though smelled really bad. The smell made it hard to be outside but it also often came inside. I know the hotel didn't cause the smell, but it had a big influence on our experience.

• Oliver (10/5): Tolles Hotel. - Tolles Hotel!! Immer, wieder gerne komme ich wieder in dieses Hotel!
• Werner (6/5): Eventlocation .... oder Hotel? - Wir waren von Freitag bis Montag im Hotel und haben ein Zimmer im Hauptgebäude gebucht (Nr 106). Leider war sowohl am Freitag als auch am Samstag eine Hochzeit im Schloß (dafür sicher ein toller Ort). Wir haben dadurch beide Nächte bis Mitternacht keine Chance auf Schlaf gehabt, da sich die Hochzeitsgäste direkt vor unserem Zimmer laut unterhalten haben. Man sollte diese Hotelzimmer bei solchen "Events" nicht vergeben. In den "Chalets" ist es sicherlich ruhiger. Am Sonntag ist Ruhetag. Das heißt es gibt auch keine Bar, keine Rezeption und kein Restaurant.
• Bartosz (9/5): Although it was just one night, I well rested and had a nice breakfast. - The castle it self and premises are beautiful, breakfast is rich so You can choose what You want to have. Staff was helpful and understanding. I do not know what is the reason behind that but there was bad smell, of pighouse, stable, chicken house or something coming from I do not know where, and it was unbearable to withstand.
• Guignery (2/5): Very poor - The hotel is beautifull and confortable Ony one CB machine . 🤬 in breakdown. If you have no cash the recption tell you where is a cashdistributor. I was angry to lose my time at 7 am for that

• Michaela (10/5): Great hotel - The hotel is lovely. It looks like a castle and the owner is keeping up the appearance. Very well kept, the surrounding garden is beautiful, inside are antique pieces. Parking in front of the entrance on the hotel's parking place for free. No elevator, so don't choose this hotel if you have heavy luggage or bad back, because there are quite many stairs. Two buildings with a passage between them. Great dining. A bit pricy, but top quality. Staff very friendly and professional. A little jacuzzi and sauna with a spa area. The staff started the sauna and filled the jacuzzi just for us two. Breakfast was good and plenty of food. Unfortunately we had too little time to explore the surroundings, so we will definitely come back.
• Tandyjo (10/5): Castle In Town - This isn't your typical hilltop castle. Driving in to Neufahrn it isn't visible until you reach the turn. A very pleasant surprise. Well maintained grounds, beautiful courtyard and welcoming staff. Conscience of covid guidelines. Our room felt like an original castle from the past with all the modern conveniences including a minibar. Many activities and festivals throughout the year.
• luciomoreno (8/5): Stay 2 days for a workshop - Location is very quite, place is an old castle. Rooms are not spacious. Meals are tasty. I would not rate as a MUST place for a business workshop but is something different you won’t find easily. Special the dinner in the castle cellar as in medieval times.
• 507borisb (8/5): Very nice castle like hotel with history - The hotel is on a very nice and quite place. Sometimes you can smell the animals from a near farmer, but hey you are in the countryside and not in a big city, so this is normal for me. The rooms are a little bit old-styled.
• Dario77M (8/5): A nice environment. - I stayed 1 week for a business meeting and I enjoyed. I have to say that the company paid for full board accomodation and I don't know how much it costed, so I can't judge if it was value for money. Anyway, I stayed in a single room, essential and clean. The bathroomwas slightly small to me. Lunch and dinner were nicely prepared, with tasty food, sometimes bavarian speciality. Staff was really kind and ready to fulfill any need of the customer. Environment: in the middle of nowhere...but it was exactly what was needed for the meeting. Fresh air and nice landscape around the hotel. Not convenient to visit Munich.
• MikeD161 (8/5): hotel at the castle - Had a business meeting at the castle hotel. The buildings, old and new, are good. The older castle portion has an interesting layout, and the ballroom area is still in good condition. The food was good, typical Bavarian, and a bar area is available. There are Renaissance festivals held there during the summer. A wedding reception was being held there on the Friday of my trip. The town area looked quiet and the farm nearby provided an aromatic reminder of one of the area's professions - farming and livestock.
