Guest Reviews
- Judy (8/5): Perfect for a one night stay. Clean and tidy and central for our needs. - Where it was situated and cleanliness of room. Only one coat hanger! Would like to see hooks on back of room door for coats and jackets and also a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang clothes while washing.
No need for microwave in room but would prefer instead to have a mini fridge to put cold drinks and fresh milk in.
- Sandra (4/5): - The location is great if you wanted to be near the Stump The bed mattress is think needs changed, it was to soft and bouncy like an old mattress goes. The room is tired and needs updated.
There were hairs on the fridge and bed, also a false eyelash on the bedding.
For the money I guess it was value if you look at location, but needs work.
- Nancy (10/5): -
- Patrina (8/5): Good stay thank you - Location Nothing
- Darren (2/5): Not good to much to list - Nothing Broken floors , itchy beds , filthy mattress
- Rachel (8/5): Small, friendly, central location, great value for money - would stay again. - Central location
Pleasant staff
Clean room
Quiet even though above a pub (we were in room 4 which is towards the back of the property. Window does open over beer garden but as it was quite cool noone was in it, so no noise). Room was quite small but worth the money.
- Paul (10/5): - The local and the atmosphere would stop again
- simon (10/5): Good choice. Good value. - Close to town. I knew there was no parking on site but the Library & Court House Car Park is very close and £4 for 24 hours, so no problem.
- Kyle (9/5): -
- Charlie (10/5): Great location for my needs, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. - The staff were so friendly and helpful.
- Paul (10/5): One of the few we'd recommend - Everything Nothing
- Nicholas (8/5): - The hotel is impossible of direct access by car, but there is a cheap, public car-park very close by -- & the staff were particularly helpful in explaining the situation, & enabling us to find our way into the premises.
The location is first-class -- within sight & sound of the principal church (the Boston 'Stump'), only a few minutes' walk into the town centre. Quiet at night. Room 4 is small, but neatly fitted out (though the wash-basin is tiny !) -- perfectly adequate for a night or 2.
Suggested improvements: a non-slip mat for the shower; & shelves on the wall for toilet bags.

- Dominic (3/5): No internet - Bar maid was friendly and helped as best she could. Rang about parking prior to arrival. Contact wasnt very helpful, I will admit parking near to the venue was easy.
So I understand from his POV, maybe it wasnt a concern. But driving a van, coming from a far. It being in the 'centre' to me it was.
I booked the venue in the hopes to go to a bar, have a beer, do some work before moving on the next day. Routine trip.
The bar downstair was empty on arrival around 5:45pm. Not the atmosphere I expect but alas, can be forgiven on a monday.
I tried setting upstairs to work. No Internet......
Went downstairs to raise the concern. She said she'd ring someone. Came down 30 minutes later, to check. She said they're on it. (Still no one in the bar)
At 7:45 I rang the contact number given again, he said they're on it, routers gone bust and they have an IT guy coming out.
I carried on checking till 9pm before giving up, nothing changed internet wise.
No follow up from the bar maid, no call back from the guy.
Not really one to complain, i'm probably just a bit salty because now i'm behind on work. Which is a me problem.
A follow up, a sorry, a beer as a gesture. My 2 pence on something that would stop someone like myself leaving a negative review.
Room was as shown no issues there. Hopefully i'm just unlucky and this isn't a regular occurance.
Best of luck for the future.

- Sammy68 (10/5): - It's central to everything.
- Andy (8/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): - We have stayed on several occasions. Always a great stay with good facilities and local attractions. Definitely visit again. Thank you It was all good.
- Steve (10/5): Friendly , welcoming , fun and great location - Clean and friendly Location and staff

- Steve (10/5): Clean , tidy and very well equipped rooms ! Helpful staff and cool pub - Clean friendly helpful Nothing

- Samantha (9/5): Was a really nice stay, was clean, in town. Only thing I wish for would be a later check out time especially on weekends - Was clean, had a working smart TV, was in the middle of town. Got very hot so I had to open the window and I heard people walking past the window and I felt like I was being exposed because the blind wouldn’t stay flushed to the window because the window was open so I was worried that people would see me getting dressed.
Would it be nice if I had a later checkout time, especially on weekends.
And I thought I booked a private bathroom, but apparently I didn’t and I felt kind of uncomfortable using a public bathroom as a female.

- Gary (7/5): - Room was spotless Thought I had an ensuite but didn't bathroom was just outside the room
- Richard (9/5): A little gem - Excellent welcome from Tommy, with full explanation of house workings. Delightful locals in the lovely bar. Also has a great garden backing on to the river and even a roof terrace. I was too late for food but will try harder next time as the menu from the sister hotel (delivered) is good value and looks really tasty. Very comfortable contemporary room with a microwave and fan if needed.
Thanks Tommy .
- Stuart (10/5): I’d highly recommend staying at Hotel Twenty if you’re visiting Boston. - Lovely Staff - the lady at check in helped us with the parking arrangements.
Superb value for money.
Great central location.
Excellent flexibility - we were easily able to stay for an additional night.
- Nicola (9/5): Lovely hotel, friendly staff. - This was a lovely hotel, with a nice garden to sit out in. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Convenient for shops and venues, just a short walk to the Gliderdrome. Nothing.
- Ambs (7/5): - The room was comfortable and had a balcony, was spacious, relatively easy to find and close to station, had a mini fridge to keep drinks chilled, staff are friendly and helpful. Shower wasn't very powerful, loud music to quite late. Bin too small, fan is noisy.
- Simon (10/5): Clean, quirky, central, absolute bargain. - Quirky central. Absolute bargain!
- Elaine (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Boston town centre. - The staff greeted me professionally and friendly too making me feel very welcome. The room had fantastic views and the shower was fantastic and the tea/ coffee was good quality ie PG tips/Nescafé. Microwave was a real bonus. Only thing you need to do is pay attention to the warn out flooring and a small whole on grey blind. Will always stay there as great staff, fantastic rooms and excellent value for Money.
- sammi (3/5): - The staff was great Loud music on till late... only 1 toilet roll, dirty sink in bath room, tv didnt work.. couldn't get through to anyone when wanting to talk to them about it...
- Tyrone (10/5): -
- Andy (10/5): - Central All good
- Tyrone (10/5): -
- Stevenson (3/5): Pub hotel music - Rooms are in a pub, it was very noisy, music stopped at midnight, the room itself was nice and clean, there was an iron and iron board, kettle, microwave hair dryer everything you could need Very loud music for a very small pub plus the bed very uncomfortable and moved easy when shifting around on bed to find a good spot to sleep was a very warm room even with window open thin walls.
- Stephen (10/5): A hotel I have used several times for leisure. Very enjoyable - Central location Room 4 has no fridge
- Angela (9/5): Brilliant location and value for money. Really clean too! - I was genuinely quite surprised at how clean and fresh it was. Wasn’t sure what to expect above a bar.
Staff on arrival were really lovely. Would have liked soft close doors in the corridor. The sound of those as people were leaving around 6.30am woke me on a Sunday morning!
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Lynn (9/5): Superb - Staff were excellent and helpful Not enough sugar for my stay
- Karl (2/5): - It was a last minute booking. Wow never again. Noisy. Fire doors banging when people went through. Ratting bedroom walls. Flooring creaking all the time. Noise from beer garden very loud. Room bed
- Sigita (7/5): Good -
- John (7/5): A comfortable stay in a convenient town centre location - There was no breakfast, The room though had a microwave and you could also order meals in using an app - not something I wanted to do but it would suit some, The bed was comfortable and there was a large TV with most of the usual channels plus a good selection of films. The hotel is right close to the famous Boston Stump so you've no chance of getting lost! The room did not have ensuite facilities but as the bathroom was on the other side of the corridor and I seemed to be the only occupant of the 3 rooms on the ground floor most f the time this wasn't as inconvenient as I might have expected. The room was supposed to have a wardrobe but this was a slight exaggeration.
- Sharon (10/5): - The room was very nice it had a comfy bed hair drier fan kettle tea and coffee a microwave iron and ironing board the shower was ok and nice clean fluffy white towels as I was on my own I felt safe staying there the owner was very nice and friendly I've also stayed at the quayside hotel prefer this one over that
- Sharon (10/5): - The room was very nice clean it had a fan iron and tea and coffee microwave and kettle the bar is very nice and lovely wine also owner very nice and friendly being an older woman on my own I felt very safe also there is a balcony area so sat outside for a while early evening
- Brian (8/5): - Good location and close to town centre.
- Liz (8/5): Comfortable nights stay - Lovely stay, room clean & tidy, good quality bed linen/towels. Well presented.
Good location, key code access to external entrance and room key to door. CCTV in public areas. Safe and secure.
Staff friendly and thoroughly explained access at check in.
WiFi available and good signal/connection.
Good large shower facility with nice pressure and good temp available. Room set up for functionality could be better but adequate for 1 person 1 night stay - desk taken up with microwave/kettle etc and lots of advertising for the hotel/business cards etc..bit overkill could simplify so guest has room to put belongings or put them elsewhere.. would struggle for 2 ppl and there personal items as no other surfaces.
No sink soap in bathroom..used shower gel.
Nowhere to place toiletry bag/ contact lens case etc in bathroom other than alcove in wall over by toilet.. could do with a shelf but more a personal preference for my own convenience.
- John (8/5): A nice little hotel - Location The stairs
- Matiss (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matiss (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raczkowski (1/5): Loud music, groups of drunken and drugged people. - Big shower. Loud music till late, Beer Garden right below the room so you get groups of strangers getting drunk right by your window.
Drunk people arguing and shouting most of the night.
People slamming doors all night and in the morning.
If you looking for a peaceful place to stay with your wife then save your time and money. Its the first time and last time i’m here. Not recommended to anyone unless you are looking to get drunk and party.
- Colin (8/5): Great for a short stay - Great location. Great little en-suite and a good view out of the first floor rear window to the beer garden. Tea and coffee making facilities. No breakfast provided. The establishment allowed a group of young people to stay in the beer garden well after hours until 1pm chatting below the bedroom window.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money, fresh feel to the interior, very central in historic part of Boston.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was really comfortable. Amenities such as microwave, fridge, hairdryer, fan, ironing board, all you could want for your stay.
Room and bathroom nicely laid out and very clean.
- Mary (8/5): Very good - Very clean. Excellent location almost under the Stump. Friendly welcome although I booked as I walked up the street.
- Caz (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Room above bar in central Boston, Lincolnshire - Quick and easy check-in. Room was at very top up 2 flights of steps. The room was quite large with nice new en-suite toilet, sink and eletric shower. The bed was supposed to be a queen but looked like a double but it was very comfortable. The rate was reasonable. Its a pity the advert didn't mention the cheap parking at the old courthouse nearby. There was loud music from the bar at night although it didn't matter to us as we had been to a gig at the nearby gliderdrome. It was very clean.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good - Decor good, room comfortable, excellent location. Room was small. No space for anything.
- Temitope (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gareth (10/5): Exactly what I needed for great value - Really comfy bed and perfect location for city centre Nothing
- Joanna (8/5): Great for a night out - Clean, good size room and great facilities, No onsite parking, it would have been good to know in advance recommended parking places.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (4/5): Disappointing - Very comfortable
Good location
Nice staff Very loud music until 12pm
Didn’t know it was a hotel over a bar it didn’t mention that on the website so I won’t be staying there again
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - Staff very welcoming. Lovely atmosphere.
- Emma (10/5): 2nd time being here and fantastic service both times! - Very clean
Friendly staff
- Georgios (8/5): Very good - The check -in was a relatively easy process , even the first time , when I had to use instructions. The most of the rooms had a nice decor .The accommodation was close to the centre and to the place , where I worked. In a night when I had problems with noisanse from the room next door after 11 pm ,I called the manager and he spoke to me with respect and professionalism . In some of the rooms not all lights are working and may be it's a little dark . In one of the rooms there was some heating issue . The rooms are close each other , so some disturbance from other clients is inevitable .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A fine place, was warned about noise especially at weekend. Was in room beside door, people returned 4 am, but there was no bother mo unreasonable noise. Comfortable.
- Sue (7/5): Good value for money but they should mention parking is not on site. - N/A I had ticked parking for my search and this was a short walk away down very narrow streets and with an additional payment.
- Furby (9/5): Good place to stay in Boston, strong recommendation - Location was great, really central and under the Stump. Staff were helpful. Potable water seemed to be an issue, wasn't clear if bathroom water was suitable to be drunk.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Sammy68 (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely comfy rooms. Fridge microwave tea coffee facilities. Lovely bar below rooms. Stayed several times
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The room and the place All ok
- Joshua (7/5): Quiete but need to change beds offer - Everything That’s I got bitten by bedbugs
