Guest Reviews
- Emma (10/5): - The property was in a great location spacious and very clean. It has everything you need. Already looking at dates to come back and stay. As regulars that travel to Bamburgh we would definitely recommend this apartment. The owner was very nice too nothing was too much. We had a power cut whilst staying due to a storm but she kept in contact and updated us regularly. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit staying as a couple or a family it was perfect.

- Clare (10/5): Wonderful weekend at Brada View - We had a wonderful weekend at Brada View. The accommodation was spotless with everything and more than we needed for a relaxing break. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and Bamburgh castle. It was just a few minutes walk to the restaurants and cafes in Bamburgh. The accommodation felt cosy and spacious too with lovely furnishings. Thank you to the owner Manda for excellent communication. We had a fantastic time!
- Vanessa (10/5): Brada View December 2024 - Lovely clean apartment with a home from home feel as it's so well equipped.
The location is great too, easy walk into the village and the beach.
We would definitely stay here again.

- Ian (9/5): Great - Location great for restaurants and beach walks. Very comfortable and well equipped Nothing
- Paul (8/5): Enjoyed the week . - Great location for beach / centre . Roomy apartment. Upstairs apartment is not very soundproofed . Can constantly hear the residents walking about . Could do with a bit more information in the visitors info book about nearest supermarket / restaurants etc .
- Cook (9/5): 3 and a dog go mad in Northumberland - Bigger than expected, pictures don't do it justice, really convenient for the village, castle and beach. Nice little court yard which is gated so great for dogs. Needs a better bathroom fan as does not clear the condensation.
- Judith (8/5): Would liked to have stayed longer… - Location There was only one toilet roll and whilst there was milk in the fridge and a couple of biscuits on the table, some complimentary tea and coffee would have been ideal, particularly after a long journey.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment with parking outside, in a great location. Nothing, it was great.
- Chris (9/5): great apartment, great location. lots of extras to keep children entertained. I would recommend a stay here - Lovely accommodation. Great location just 10 mins walk to centre of village and 20 mins to beach. clean and comfortable with everything you need. My granddaughter particularly appreciated the toys books and beach stuff only one slight problem, the lock on front door was a bit fiddly to lock and unlock so just ended up using back door most of time
- Lynn (10/5): Excellent, cottage very well equipped, perfect for a lovely relaxing home from home. - Property was spotless, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Cottage was well furnished and so cosy. Would highly recommend. Not a thing
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect.
Easy to find, and easy walk in to Bamburgh.
Good parking.
Quiet location.
Very well equipped apartment.
Clean.
Great games/ books etc for families.
Host was extremely helpful and friendly.
Large bedroom.
Fresh ,good towels.
Could do with blinds changing. Old furniture in bedroom.
Smelly reed diffuser.
Obviously not a deal breaker!
- Giles (10/5): Exceptional - The property was in an amazing location ,out of the door you could see Lindisfarne in the distance ,turn the corner you are starting at st Aidan's church then the most amazing site of Bamburgh castle ,in fact you could see a glimpse from the bedroom windows, also a very small walk to some amazing pubs and restaurants .
The property was amazingly clean and very homely ,it had everything you could possibly need ( and I mean everything ) the people who own it are very easy to contact and quick response I told her we were in Bamburgh earlier ,and we got a text to say it's available slightly earlier .
When you arrive it's the little extra touches ,milk in the fridge etc .
I had my 10 year old with me there is dvds board games books etc came in handy one day as we had torrential rain .
Absolutely amazing for a family wanting to visit the area I will be back here again. I could not fault it in anyway x
- Gareth (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Very good - The property was very well appointed, comfortable, warm and spacious. Within an easy walk of the village itself (which boasts both eat out and adequate shopping opportunities to remain self-catering), the beach and the castle. Wasn't aware that Grace Darling was from Bamburgh. There might have been a little damp in one room, but pumping the heating up should resolve that
- Kelsey (9/5): Excellent apartment in a peaceful location, close to all local amenities. - The location was fantastic and the facilities were excellent. There was everything you need for a getaway. Communication with Manda was excellent and even though we arrived early and the cleaners had not yet been, Manda gave us the option to check in early if the cleaners had been. Manda provided excellent recommendations for the local area. There wasn't anything that myself or partner didn't like about the property.
- Fündling (9/5): Superb - The contact to the owners was easy and they reacted very quickly to all our enquiries. The kitchen is really well equipped. The apartment is an easy walk from the beach and the (few) shops in Bamburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There is no plug in the bathroom - that was a bit inconvenient.
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good -
- Paul (9/5): Convenient Quiet Good acommodation - Great Location, quiet at night but close to the centre of Bamburgh. The flat was equipped with everything we needed. Easy parking.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Really well equipped and very comfortable. Manda was a brilliant host and very accommodating. The toys for the kids to play with was a nice touch as it was the first time we’d travelled ‘light’ with our youngest and they kept him well occupied. Everything had been thought of and the location was fab.
- James (10/5): Great stay in Bamburgh. Would highly recommend to all! - Great property - would recommend to all. The location is perfect, less than 10 min walk into the village. The property itself is very well equipped - the kitchen has everything you would need, also has a travel cot and high chair if you have kids.
Great communication with the owner - quick responses, provided recommendations for the local area, and always friendly & helpful. Nothing
- Kaye (8/5): wonderful short break in a cosy well equipped property - it had everything we needed- no limitation on crockery, pans etc, good shower and towels
- Heather (8/5): Good enjoyable stay. - Liked the location, good sized rooms, heating and hot water, kitchen - plenty of equipment, easy parking, easy access, clean, comfy, quiet, owners respond quickly to queries. If disabled or elderly Bath quite high to step into for bath or shower although a small stool is provided. Otherwise all good.
- Louise (10/5): convenient location in a comfortable home - Well equipped and comfortable nothing
