Guest Reviews
- Shaun (8/5): Excellent location and property, highly recommended - Excellent location, super quiet, host spoke to us once and then left us to it Bed was a little uncomfortable, but we are used to a super thick mattress at home
- Bobrsk (8/5): - silence and peace I don't have bad memories
- Halim (9/5): A pleasant stay away, with welcoming host. - Great location and views from the conservatory.
- Norfolk (10/5): Top choice in this part of Scotland. - This is an exceptionally comfortable, spacious and welcoming property. It is warm and well-furnished. Fixtures and fittings all of a high standard and work well. Great views across the surrounding farmland and then into the hills, and big windows to enjoy them! Helpful host met me with complimentary milk and cakes. Well-organised, explanatory notes around the place. Good wifi, certainly for such a remote location. Good shower, excellent bed. A bunch of acrobatic pied wagtails cavort around the cottage. The geographical 'centre of Scotland' is a couple of miles along the Glen Truim road towards Newtonmore, marked by a big cairn and signage. Slightly hard to identify the cottage at first, as the sign 'Creag-na-Sanais', while obvious when you know, is not visible from the road, and the name of a different, hidden, property is on the gate instead. This fooled me for a while! One of the lights in the kitchen was extremely dim, but probably just needs a new bulb. Everything else was really exceptionally comfortable.

- Andrew (10/5): Just the very best ! - What was not to like ! We love this particular part of Scotland and the area of laggan village .the scenery is fantastic specially in the Autumn with all the different changing colours . The cottage was brilliant, very warm comfortable and very we'll equipped. And our host was great . We couldn't have asked for more. Going home !
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Great, quiet location. Excellent house with everything you need for a stay. Very good value. Close enough to Aviemore and all the sites but far enough away to be quiet and very good value.
