Guest Reviews
- Anthony (9/5): - Modern and spacious
- Sallybolly (6/5): Thank goodness the beach wasn't far away! - Loved the close proximity to the beach. Overlooking hundreds of caravans. I am so pleased we were not there during the season as I'm sure both the volume of noise, people and traffic would have been terrible. If we'd known that was the view we wouldn't have booked the property. Thank goodness it wasn't busy!
The property was not very clean - crumbs on work surface & floor on arrival. Furniture in lounge area was very dirty - stains on the sofa, stains at head height on the chairs at the window where people have rested their heads. A'gaming' chair had a large stain on the seat.
The broom and mop for the floor were filthy and we couldn't use as so dirty. I dread to think if the cleaner has been using those!
Dust under the beds, only discovered as I dropped something.
Toilet brush was just disgustingly dirty.
We use holiday cottages a couple of times a year and have never come across anything like this before.
- Alexis (9/5): Home away from home! - The accommodation was lovely, comfortable and spacious with lots of natural light. It was situated literally a stone throw away from the beach which made it very practical to go for long walks with our baby and Sprocker spaniel. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery, crockery and utensils. It was home away from home with beautiful views and sounds of the ocean. We were also welcomed with a box of biscuits and a bottle of Prosecco which we thought was a lovely touch. I feel a little more attention to the cleaning could have been made. It was a bit unfortunate that the first fork I picked up was dirty, there was a cracker under the sofa and my dog found a random sock that didn't belong to anyone of us staying there. While the accommodation allows for dogs it doesn't necessarily cater for them ie. they cannot toilet outside on the grass embankment and the decking isn't ideal. This wasn't very convenient during our stay. Some thought needs to be put into this. Other than that I cannot fault the accommodation at all.
