- Eva (8/5): Celkem fajn pro rodiny s dětmi, vedle fajn vlek. - Poloha hotelu. Parkování. Chyběla mi klasická restaurace, byl tam jen bar s podprůměrnou obsluhou. Jídlo se muselo objednat předem.

- JINDŘICH (6/5): - Samozřejmě okolí.Hotel je po rekonstrukci z venku vypadá moc hezky restaurace také Bohužel náš pokoj byl jak školní ubytovna a v koupelně se sotva otočíte 😠

- Werner (8/5): Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung und Personal macht einen guten Job. - Das Essen bei Frühstück und Abendessen war reichhaltig und schmeckte fast immer. Wermutstropfen war nur, dass manche Hauptspeisen beim Abendessen nicht mehr heiß waren. Ansonsten immer schmackhaft, genügend in Menge und die fehlenden Speisen wurden meistens auch prompt nachgefüllt. Besonders lobenswert waren die Damen im Gastobereich, die flink und fleißig und jederzeit freundlich waren. Essen manchmal zu abgefühlt.

- Magda (3/5): - Svetelny napis “hotel churanov” primo svitici do okna pokoje. Prirazeny pokoj primo naproti vytahu (ostatni pokoje za dalsimi separatnimi dvermi chranicimi proti hluku z vytahu), takze byl slyset veskery hluk. Chybejici zaclony, zavesy svetle, co nechranily vubec proti svetlu pri orientaci pokoje na vychod. Velmi omezena moznost vegetarianske stravy. Nedostatek detskych zidlicek pri snidani.

- Stefanie (8/5): Leckeres Essen, Zimmer einfach - Wir haben schöne Tage hier verbracht. Das Essen verdient sehr großes Lob, landestypisch und herzhaft! Die Servicekräfte und die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich, die Masseuse ist sehr empfehlenswert! Das Hotel liegt ziemlich hoch und abgelegen, ein Ort der Ruhe. Unser Zimmer war klein und einfach, was eigentlich kein Problem für uns darstellt. Das Bad war aber schon sehr klein, vllt 1 m auf 2,50 m, Toilette - Waschbecken - Dusche in Folge. Wenn man sich zum Zähneputzen bücken wollte, musste man die Türe öffnen, anders ging es nicht, auch der Zugang zur Dusche war etwas abenteuerlich. Sie lag ca 40 cm hoch und man konnte sie nur durch einen schmalen Spalt betreten, nicht ganz ungefährlich, dort wieder raus zu steigen. Die Fenster hatten leider keine Rollo oder zumindest eine Verdunklungsgardine. Die Matratzen waren durchgelesen und ein Lattenrost war sogar gebrochen (wurde sofort ausgetauscht). Sehr schade war auch. Dass bei 5 Tagen Aufenthalt nie ein Zimmer Service kam und zumindest mal gesaugt hätte. Wir haben uns dadurch den Urlaub nicht vermiesen lassen, die Freundlichkeit, die schöne Umgebung und das gute Essen genossen.

- M1374LQpaulc (8/5): Very nice place to rest - Very nice place to rest near the beautiful Sumava area or to ski during the winter. The rooms we stayed in (one for the parents, one for the children) were quite small together with the bathroom. Half board option. The buffet for breakfast and for the dinner were tasty, only local food with good advice from the waiters. This place is well equipped (welness area, dedicated room for children, billiard, ping-pong, table football, darts). The waiters are very nice.
- Sp0tterS (8/5): Good quality of living and dining and fair price - Visited in May 2019, bought as a last minute for good price. The hotel is in the very nice place, with beautiful view to Šumava. Room clean, nice, just bathroom little bit small. Dining very good, especially if you purchase breakfast and dinners. Very nice staff. The hotel has main restaurant, than evening restaurant (Pillner beer and Velkopopovický kozel, meals from the menu) and in the groundfloor also small wooden bar where we met friendly staff as well. Good beer for just 1 EUR. Overall, very nice place to have rest after the trip. The only problem was not good wifi signal at the room.

- pspacil (6/5): Dinner resembles a school canteen. - Location of the hotel is excellent next to winter ski slopes. Our two rooms were clean and renovated. What needs to improve is the elevator, most probably 25+ years old. Separately I stress restaurant half board. Dinner must be selected evening before one of 3 possible meals. No other option. It is a hotel, not school canteen :(
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best value for money in this area - Great value for money. Old communist era hotel but well renovated, clean and comfortable. In a nice location, ski area a hiking trails nearby. Good breakfast. Better hotel than other more expensive options in the area.
- 40marekm (6/5): 2 nights stay - Overall ok hotel, if you don't need luxury. The room was clean and quite nice, only you could hear everything through the walls and tje bathroom was really tiny. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a let-down though. Very poor selection and felt like a trip to the past. But given the price it may be all you need, especially if you plan to spent most of your day out of the hotel. Otherwise you may want to consider other choices in the area.
