Guest Reviews
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional - excellent location
- Brian (9/5): Brian's family holidays. - The views and plentiful hot water. Secondary locking on stairs. Trouble with the keysafe also.
- Renate (9/5): Superb - Great Location with parking and very clean Facilities stated it had a DVD player but there was none, all the clocks were out of order, TV needed retuning and the manual in book showed a different remote control which made it interesting.
- Stewart (10/5): Cozy and comfortable base in a great location. - Superb location and well looked after with convenient parking for one car. The property is clean with a good sized kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms and living room are also of a good size allowing for a comfortable stay, with a great view of Catbells! Nothing at all.
- Jim (10/5): Catbells is a very pleasant base for an exploration of the northwest Lake District. - It is a very comfortable, clean, well-equipped flat that is positioned in a quiet quadrant right next to the town’s busy market square. There is a numbered, easy-access parking space in the quadrant. It has a charming view of Catbells. We have no negative comments as the accommodation suited our needs perfectly.
- Jason (10/5): 5* clean comfortable well equipped apartment - Clean comfortable well equipped accommodation in an excellent location will definitely be back thank you
- Gillian (9/5): Good all round no problems - Flat was really nice and central which made a great difference. Weather made the holiday dry and sunny every day

- Sarah (9/5): Fantastic stay in a super convenient location - Location, space and well equipped Decor slightly dated
- Janet (10/5): It was a pleasure to stay there - Everything The tv
- David (9/5): A real home from home in a perfect location - Lovely flat which had everything you could need for a good stay. It was clean and extremely well located to the centre of Keswick. Would definitely return There wasn’t really anything much. It would have been better to have the access codes to the property earlier. I contacted the company to check it hadn’t been forgotten.
- Tanzell (9/5): Perfect in every way, will definitely return! -
- Qingzi (9/5): Superb - It is super clean and cozy. Perfect location as well.
- Mariel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barak (9/5): Comfy apt for a small family in lovely Keswick - Fantastic location + one free parking spot
Comfy appartment
Clean and new
Well equipped (cutlery. plates, pans, etc)
Free wifi
Host tesponds immediately Do not expect the appartment to have any sugar, coffee or oil, but there are shops nearby
- John (8/5): Excellent base for Keswick. Functional (I.e not a pretty Lakeland cottage -if that’s what you’re after) but comfortable, - Perfect location for Keswick and surroundings Not much storage, especially for bikes but they were fairly safe securely locked up under cover at the left hand side of the carpark
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Ellis (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy, welcoming with a beautiful view Main building entrance has an awkward lock, need to jiggle the key and turn right
- Tarun (8/5): A Convenient City Retreat with Stunning Views - The apartment itself was modern and well-designed, providing a comfortable and stylish space to relax after a day of exploration. We particularly enjoyed the views of the hills from the apartment, which added a touch of tranquility to our stay. One of the standout features of Catbells Apartment was its unbeatable location in the heart of Keswick. Being so close to the city center allowed us easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. We found Its proximity to popular lakes such as Buttermere and Derwentwater, incredibly convenient to take a 20-minute bus ride and walk around to explore their stunning views.
The kitchen in Catbells Apartment was well-equipped and thoughtfully organized with clear labels, making it easy for us to find everything we needed. We appreciated the convenience of preparing our own meals and enjoying them in the comfort of our accommodation. However, it's worth noting that some of the kitchenware appeared to be rusted and could benefit from upgrading. Nevertheless, it did not significantly impact our ability to cook and dine during our stay.
In summary, our experience at Catbells Apartment in Keswick was highly enjoyable. The second bedroom in the apartment was quite small, making it more suitable for children rather than adults. It would be ideal if this information were made clearer to future guests to manage their expectations accordingly.
