• Lyubomir (10/5): Enjoyed the place, lot of entertainment on the site and around. - All the facilities and even more than described on the add. All was perfect.
• Jez (9/5): - Kate and Andy were great thoughtful hosts, there was flooding in the area and kindly kept me updated on the safest way to arrive. Accommodation was clean and very comfortable, including the hot tub. No negatives for us

• Kevin (10/5): Relaxing weekend - Loved the hot tub and Japanese bath. Everything you could need in a self catering stay was there and all in very good condition. Nice little touches like welcome essentials basket and fire wood were very thoughtful. Water pressure is excellent and what an amazing shower! We loved our stay, and will definitely come back again 🙂 My wife didn't enjoy the feather quilt, she felt it was too warm and heavy and triggered her allergies (but I loved it!)

• Rebecca (10/5): The cottage, the owners, the animals the location, just perfect. We couldn't ask for more! - I am so happy that we ended up picking this place, if your looking in the area, this is the one you want to book! Andy & Kate are wonderful, Bob the cat is my new best friend. The location is amazing, so peaceful, the views, the animals, we really couldn't have asked for more. The cottage had everything you needed, even a welcome basket of eggs from their farm, bread, milk, Welsh cakes, coffee pods, tea, coffee. The bed is massive and so comfortable, and as my partner described the shower, it's like a car wash for humans...amazing!! The Japanese bath was amazing too. The private hot tub with the views! And they really are dog friendly, our Rusty got a welcome dog toy, poo bags and a holiday dog tag in case the worst would happen. We enjoyed table tennis, drinking our morning coffee in the sun, listening to the farm animals, and the gym was well equipped if your into that kinda thing on holiday. Overall the place is amazing, the location is amazing and the hosts were also amazing. 15/10 would recommend, and hopefully we will return in the future with family to stay in one of the other places they have available. Truly a place that makes me sad to be home! Thank you Kate and Andy, give Bob a cuddle from me!! I have nothing, the place really was perfect!!
• Anna (10/5): Heaven on Earth - What's not to like - fabulous owners. Great welcome pack. Stunning location with amazing views. The Stables property itself is beautiful, extremely well equipped, luxurious and the bed is to die for. Loved the hot tub, just for us. The other properties had their own hot tubs. They're together but cleverly placed for enough privacy. We loved the animals, we'd go back just to visit and feed them! Super doggy friendly. Lovely local town with all the amenities and not far New Quay where we watched dolphins playing from the harbor wall. The Lime Crab fish and chips are beautiful. Kate and Andy we will be back and are feeling a winter break with the hot tub coming on! It's just a fabulous place to be...... We couldn't fault it.

• Karen (10/5): Truly dog friendly, highly recommended. - We stayed in The Stables at Happy Donkey Hill and it was excellent. The cottage itself was beautiful and had all the creature comforts you could ask for. When they say they are dog friendly they really do mean it as our beloved dog was treated as a guest in her own right and was provided a holiday dog tag for her safety which we greatly appreciated. Our hosts were wonderful and had a genuine interest in making sure we had a great time during our stay. The hot tub is brilliantly located in such a way that you can enjoy the views as you relax. This has been a real challenge to find anything negative to say. The only thing I can think of is that there was no pair of tongs amongst the ample kitchen utensils provided but this is purely a personal preference thing and had no actual impact on our stay.
• David (10/5): My 4th time here - The area is very good for walking. Kate and Andy are great hosts who can't do enough for you if you want something but not intrusive. There is good walking around the property and attached land should you not want to bother with your car. If you want a day on a beach, there are several nearby, and you are 20 mins drive from New Quay.
• Daniel (7/5): May stay - The place was great, so was the setting. Seeing kites regularly was epic. Andy was relaxed, but I found Kate quite condescending to communicate with.
