Guest Reviews
- Jill (9/5): Was excellent and met all our needs - The cottage was clean, comfortable and perfectly placed for our needs. It was great to have milk and tea available when we arrived. It’s position was very convenient for a Co-op and a choice of places to eat The steps up to the front door but this reflected the age and location of the house.
- Linda (9/5): Excellent - Location very good. Swan and Indian restaurants, both excellent, just a few yards away. Clothes shops and cafes all on the doorstep. Wonderful church. Visited several historical buildings. Lavenham open garden day was excellent.
Courtyard sunny and private. A wonderful short holiday. Key box not easy to access, I've had much better ones. Sofas getting tired. Too many irrelevant objects on walls. Shower takes time to empty. Steep steps up to property and steps to courtyard.
Minor details and didn't stop us having an excellent break.
- Geoff (10/5): Fulfilled all our expectations and more. - (Self catering)
Two convenience stores selling an excellent choice of goods - including high quality ready meals. Also a superb butcher next to one of the stores.
We liked the quirkiness of this very old listed property. Uneveness of floors etc. The building had been restored to a high standard. No creaking. Surprisingly large. Bigger on the inside than on the outside - like the Tardis.
Lavenham was most interesting.
- Willard (10/5): Brilliant - Had everything we needed .Great location
- Barbara (9/5): Wonderful character cottage in beautiful Lavenham. - The wonderful listed building, on the High Street, close to all facilities in Lavenham. The cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Great for self catering as everything was there that would be needed. There were fresh flowers on the table, and coffee, tea, milk and cookies as a welcome. The beds were really comfortable with super mattresses. Nothing really, although the promised DVD player was not there, and I had brought DVDs with me! A larger coffee maker would also be useful as the cafetière was only large enough for two cups. These are small points that didn’t really spoil our stay.
- Jade (8/5): Very good - Sofa uncomfortable and draft from the door. Also the decor downstairs was quite drab
- Alistair (8/5): A comfortable cottage in a good location. Ideal for a short break. - Spacious and comfortable More bedding/blankets. A slightly better shower but this is only minor
- Clementina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olivia (9/5): Superb -
- Carol (10/5): Tearoom village - Lovely location Nothing
- Carrie (10/5): Great stay. - Was a great location and the property was beautiful. The dishwasher did not work.
