- JANE (8/5): - Quiet. Peaceful. Clean. Tidy. Spacious. Location. Nothing to dislike.

- Elizabeth (9/5): - Beautiful old farmhouse with loads of character and charm. 4 good sized bedrooms, sleeps 8 people, one king bed and 3 x 2 single beds which you can place together if desired. Comfortable beds and good bedding provided. The kitchen was well equipped with a good sized fridge freezer, and everything you might want for cooking. Cosy living room with comfortable sofas. Plenty of books and games which was a nice bonus. There is a spacious garden/outside area with little style buildings such as an old stone cow byre. Great space for dogs to explore. A word of caution though - the fields next door have sheep and cows. Most of the garden is closed off but there is a place at the back where a determined dog could get through, as well as via the main entrance, just to be aware.
A couple more things to note: There is only one bathroom in the house, there is a second toilet downstairs and a toilet & decent shower in a small room outside and despite there being 7 of us, we managed fine. There aren't many plugs in each room. For us this was part of the 'it's a historic farmhouse not a modern building experience' but luckily for the sake of young adult offspring we brought a couple of multi port chargers :) The roads around are pretty narrow which can be a bit of a challenge when meeting a car going the opposite way. The final lane is rather overgrown in the middle and the base of our car scraped against it somewhat alarmingly at times. It's also very narrow and the sides a bit overgrown, in order to avoid the middle my husband drove the car more to one side and ended up scratching the doors. Also the actual driveway into the house had some stones sticking up that also scraped the bottom of the car so we parked higher up after that. Eventually some of the occupants walked the laneway each day to avoid any further problems. It would really be better if the lane was flattened out in the middle and the stones dug out from the driveway. If it wasn't for this, I'd give the property 10/10 because we really loved it.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - The kitchen was well equipped. The location was stunning & the house was delightful & interesting.
- Susie (8/5): Very good - Lovely and quiet, and a great book.collection on the history of the place and Cornwall. Peaceful picturesque and unspoilt. The narrow lanes in the area are quite challenging. Need a very small car if new to it all.
- Narasimhan (8/5): Overall a good experience in an ancient farm house. A good break away from the busy life. - Good location. Good spacious rooms. Very well equipped kitchen. Good garden space for kids playing. Within walking distance to a good beach. Very narrow roads in the last stretch of couple of miles. Could have been good if one more shower facility in the ground floor toilet. Group of 8 managing with just one shower was bit of inconvenience.
- Pritchard (9/5): Create place to stay inside and out in the magical grounds assume - Cream tea left for arrival was unexpected and such a nice surprise after a long journey.
The amount of historical information pictures to view about property and surrounding area. N/A
- Samantha (10/5): Perfect!! - Had everything we needed, very comfortable & clean. Great location.
