• paul (10/5): Stayed with my two adult sons, plenty of room for us all. - Proper home from home feeling. The cottage had all the facilities we needed, lots of kitchen equipment, including a thoughtful picnic bag that could be borrowed. A smart television we used for a radio and a wood burner which was very nice to sit in front of at the end of the day. Easy to find and although the parking may not be directly outside there is plenty of space along the road so was never an issue. All fine.
• Michael (7/5): Visit OK 4Ft 6 bed bit small house needs ro be warmer - No breakfast but Location good The house was on cold side and not possible to control as owner had APP to set temp
• David (8/5): A very peaceful friendly location. - Great Location Incorrect code provided by Booking.com.Luckily communications from Sykes cottages provided correct number.No welcome pack, such as milk /tea/coffee which would have been very useful if you were late arriving, as the only shop would be closed

• Lucy (1/5): Lovely location a real shame about the property. - Location. The property was cold and very damp. There is black mold on the walls and no central heating. We had to cut our trip to 4 nights (originally booked 6 nights) as we all fell down ill. There was no welcome hamper on arrival (not even milk left in fridge after travelling 300 miles). When asked for a refund the owner refused. The property is not fit to be rented as a holiday home, certainly not in its current state, it needs investment in treating the dampness and a new front door etc. If it wasn’t for our friends lending us portable heaters we’re not sure what we would have done! Very disappointed.
• David (9/5): A very pleasant and relaxing stay - Ideally situated in a very quiet position. Within easy reach of faciliies. Perhaps the heating could have been set a little higher.
• Amanda (10/5): Comfortable Cornish cottage - Quarry Cottage is a wonderfully cosy cottage. It is equipped with everything you need on holiday. It was also beautifully clean - thanks Lucy. My son loved the attic room with his own TV, comics and games. I loved the courtyard at the back and reading my book by the lounge window. Previous reviews mentioned parking but we found it okay you might just have to park further up the hill a bit.

• Carolyn (10/5): A true gem in a beautiful picturesque village - Cottage was amazing. Great location and owners had thought of everything from dishwasher tablets to washing pods to extra towels and dvds to keep the kids amused. We will definitely be back. A true gem.
• Emma (10/5): Beautiful old cottage in a pretty location - Such a lovely cottage - loads of space and everything we needed. Great location, quiet pretty village, very short walk to the quay and pubs, and slightly longer walk to a small beach. Falmouth just a short drive or a ferry away. Caretaker was v responsive to questions while we were here. Parking space was tricky to find but to be expected in a little village
