Guest Reviews
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely quiet place, and a good location to explore they area. -
- Peter (10/5): A lovely little spot for a couple to enjoy a relaxing stay in Cornwall. - The location was great, the proximity to an excellent pub a bonus. The rooms were well appointed and the kitchen well equipped with some basics - tea, salt, pepper, washing up liquid and laudry detergent. It would really help find the house if it was advised that it was in the courtyard behind The Quarryman Inn. The only change I would suggest is that the quilt was a little too warm for us and there was no option of blankets. Other than that, it was excellent.
- Nick (7/5): ood value in an expensive area. - Better log burner. The installed is a toy. The storage heaters could do with replacing. Both doors need draft proofing.Bath needs a grab handle.
- Philip (8/5): A cozy well situated cottage a few steps from the pub! - We took the cottage for the first week in February, before half-term hold, so it was nice and quiet. It’s conveniently situated for most outward bound pursuits. We particularly enjoyed the coastal walks. Missed a dishwasher but a cosy cottage. Mr. Dishwasher..
Bathroom fan was very dusty,
Some aesthetic repairs required, but nothing critical to a week’s holiday.
- Diane (9/5): Would recommend. - Self catering. Cosy. Had everything we needed. Quiet. Nice neighbours. Lovely beaches and walks. Pub was good for meals. Car parking. All good
- Carole (8/5): - The setting in such a quiet rural location but only minutes from Wadebridge and the cottage suited us perfectly for our purpose for being in the area.
We had some queries about the property before arrival and found Sykes support lacking but the house keeper for the cottage was really helpful and was able to help us on 2 occasions with instant replies. What a difference a real person makes!
The cottage was lovely and warm, very clean and organised with a new kitchen and appliances that were spotlessly presented.
I would definitely stay there again.
- Dchunter87 (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing cosy cottage. Fully equipped with everything you could need to have a home away from home.
- Peter (8/5): We had a lovely time. - Well equipped and clean but now needing some updating. The bath needs a wall handle to get in and out safely. Electric heaters need updating. Electric shower is poor probably due to age and poor pressure. Very old info for area (2010 price list for local restaurants)
- David (10/5): - Cosy cottage, good position for visiting Cornwall.
- Gwyneth (9/5): Superb -
- Vicki (5/5): Passable -
- Carol (10/5): Lovely relaxing week - N/a as we were self catering Nothing-everything was perfrct
- Hilary (8/5): Very good -
- Nancy (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (8/5): Lovely cottage, very enjoyable week with lots to do in the area. - Kitchen well stocked with implements and quiet location Bit noisy at night when the bathroom fan from next door came on or the water tank was filling. More sound insulation needed above the ceiling
- Thomas (9/5): Excellent location for touring and a cozy cottage - Perfect location for our needs, cottage was very comfortable and we would definitely look to book again. No issues
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
