• Donna (10/5): Peaceful, comfortable stay with gorgeous countryside and sea views - Absolutely spotless throughout with gorgeous views from every window. All rooms were very spacious, comfortable and well equipped and the hosts are super friendly and helpful when needed. Fantastic location close to the beach, restaurants, pubs, cafe's etc. Wished we'd stayed longer and hope this property is available next time we're in the area.

• Claire (10/5): A lovely short break - It was a very comfortable cosy apartment. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. Although the weather wasn't the best , on our short stay we managed to explore the surrounding area. Paul and Kim. very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Highly recommended.

The apartment itself was delightfully decorated and beautifully appointed. Everything was thought of. Great views across Southerndown. Bed super comfy and had a great night sleep. • Stephen (10/5): If you want to escape for a few days or for that matter weeks, it's a pefect place to do so. - We loved everything about this apartment, the decor the level of finishes, the bathroom, bedroom and the lounge area, so well laid out. The place was spotless probably the cleanness place we have ever stayed in. The property is run by Kim and Paul who have put their heart and soul into the house, and it shows. We had sea and panoramic views across the coastline. Southerdown is a wonderful little place, and the accommodation is on the road to Dunraven Castle and is blessed to have a wonderful restaurant a few doors down the road and other pubs and restaurants nearby.

There is no shop in Southerndown but we had brought most things we required with us. The apartment is beautiful, scrupulously clean and stylishly furnished. Really comfy bed. Kim and Paul are excellent hosts, very welcoming and relaxed. We ate out in Frolics on our last night, a perfect end to a wonderful break. There was nothing not to like but just a suggestion…a laundry airer could be really useful for drying wetsuits and swimming stuff for guests that are brave enough to venture into the sea (as we did and it was gorgeous)
• Lucas (10/5): Stunning place with great view and friendly owners - First of all, Kim and Paul, the owners, were so kind and helpful. They really made everything possible for us to feel welcomed and cared for. The property itself was modernly equipped, large, comfortable and had all the needed ammenities. The view from the rooms (there is a kitchen, a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom) is gorgeous. One can definately spend there a long and good holiday while travelling the beautiful coastline. The property is on the third floor of an old home, which requires going up narrow stairs. For us it was no issue or problem though.

The flat was spotlessly clean, well equipped, beautifully and tastefully furnished with meticulous attention to detail providing a restful and comfortable experience. We couldn't find fault with anything about the accommodation.

The balcony was perfect to just sit and admire the gorgeous views and the beautiful beach was only a short walk down the road. Everything about our stay was perfect and we would love to return. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning. Parking is on the road slightly further down from the apartment but this wasn’t a problem. Fantastic spacious apartment which has been renovated, furnished and decorated by Paul and Kim to a very high standard. Everything was immaculate and kept very clean. Good quality appliances and supply of kitchen utensils etc. Felt very tranquil and restful as on the second floor and windows double glazed. Wonderful views across countryside and towards the Glamorgan heritage coast. We particularly liked the glass fronted balcony and would enjoy sitting out there on a warm day Many good places for walking locally. Many good pubs and places to eat out or get a take away locally Lack of dedicated car park but parking on a side road was satisfactory

The property is fitted to an exceptional standard and the location is great. Pubs and restaurants and the Dunraven beach and cliff walks all within easy walking distance. Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped with tea/coffee/condiments all provided. An added bonus is Frolics restaurant just 6 doors away, excellent food and good value. We also had a good meal at the Fox in St Brides a few minutes drive. The coast path is at the end of the road and a map and walk book are provided. Kim is very helpful without being intrusive, we'd recommend this property. Nothing

The apartment was sparkling clean, fully equipped, and had everything we needed and more! Kim was the perfect host and could not do enough for us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. The weather!

When we arrived Kim met us and was so helpful and enthusiastic and offered us plenty of information about the local area. She showed us around the apartment and explained to us where everything was. I have to say that we were both absolutely blown away with the apartment. It was so beautifully presented and so well equipped that we both felt we wanted to move in and live there. The attention to detail in the presentation, furnishings and quality of equipment was exceptional. This really was a luxury apartment of the very highest standard. Every room was beautifuly furnished and equipped with everything you could want or need. We did not want for anything during our stay and we were so relaxed and able to enjoy our surroundings. Our stay at Woodlands was memorable and we will definately be back in the future. I would like to thank Paul and Kim for providing us with a truly magical few days and look forward to returning. • James (10/5): Highly recommend - On arrival had a very friendly welcome from Kim and Paul. We were offered help with our luggage. Showed us to the apartment which was way above expectations. They provided us with excellent info on the surrounding area, which we made the most of. The apartment was of a very high standard, felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. Very spacious, fully equipped kitchen, large living room full of board games and dvds, large bedroom and very modern bathroom. And of course the huge balcony with unreal views. Nothing to dislike.
