Guest Reviews
- Amir (10/5): - Good
- William (10/5): - Reasonable prices
- ChiuTsen (6/5): - We send message to request room on the 1st/ ground floor, and received an confirmation. When we arrive there, staff told me he doesn't received. I proved him from my iPad. We are happy he is willing to carry our luggage to upstairs for us. However, when we check out next day, we really had hard time to carry luggage down, with family member is disable.
The building is painted well, the room is large with refrigerator. No hair blower or coffee maker. We maybe back to this hotel if we need to go to Santa Monica again. But we will call to check what the room come with first.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Always trying to get extra money - Did reservation online. Got to location and staff (lady) onsite advise there is a CASH $20.00 or $25.00 deposit. I told her where does that state especially I booked a non-smoking room? The website didnt show deposit, because I would have had to pay during checkout. I told her it has to be posted on-line or somewhere on premises and it didnt have neither. She ended calling someone on her phone speaking in her language so I wouldn't understand the conversation. She then said lets go check the room if you don't like it and make changes. I've never been taken to see a room before staying found that weird. Overall be careful!
- Jason A (6/5): - Not veey appeasing or beds not comfortable.
- Donald (2/5): - Horrible>
- Zhibin (2/5): - It was one of the worst motel I stayed for the price of $126(tax included).
- Nadi (8/5): - Peter was very friendly I will come again soon
- Victor (4/5): - It rained outside and the ceiling leaked in my room. It created a damp and musty smell. The carpet was dirty. The staff was friendly.
- Miguel (2/5): - This place it really needs a lift, the bed is so uncomfortable I'll be sleeping on my clothes.
- JENNIFER (4/5): - Front desk person was friendly and we slept fine for the few hours we needed but this place needs some serious TLC. Very dated rooms from carpets to blankets and furniture, very dirty and worn out. Mattress cover had a burn hole, stains around bed frame cover, dirt in bathroom. We slept on top of the covers because it was too hot in the room even with the air conditioner running all night at 68. Just never cooled down.
For over $150 a night definitely overpriced and not even a coffee pot
- Ajanay (10/5): - Really nice, reasonable rooms, & peaceful area
- Dale (10/5): - Nice place
- arto (10/5): - Good location
- Juan (8/5): - Until next time
- dan (2/5): COLD SHOWER OPTION - Overall the room condition was nice; however, the shower's water flow was insufficient, and it took 10 minutes just for warm water to start flowing! NO HOT WATER - WARM AT BEST!
- Janice (6/5): - I asked to rent the room another night and the hotel manager. doubled the cost. Sunday. cost $ 65 dollars. He said Monday is $100 dollars. I don't understand that.
- Maria del Carmen (10/5): - Great small hotel. Great service
- jose (4/5): - Lots of hair in the bed...the room cleaning is very poor
- Blake (10/5): - Ok
- Godfrey (10/5): - Loved the stay at this property. The staff was amazing and the price was more than reasonable. I'll be back for sure !
- Louis (10/5): Close to freeways & LAX - Perfect for an affordable stay before an early flight out of LAX, very clean and comfortable, set back from street so very quiet. Staff were friendly.
- Brittany (8/5): - Front desk employee was very nice
- Dale (10/5): - Nice to be apart of the buget hospitality
- Terrell (6/5): - Good property
- Griselda (10/5): - Very friendly at the receptionist
- TERESA (2/5): not nice - not good
- ERICK (8/5): - friendly staff very conveniently located
- Jessica (6/5): - The mattresses are very painful to sleep on. The workers are kinda rude. But it served its purpose
- Diego (8/5): - It was cute but rooms are too small
- iurii (8/5): - Нормально
- Jose (8/5): - It was quiet and easy to get to. With lots of options for dining
- JIJI (2/5): - The room at first glance look clean but once you stayed the room is so disorganized the toilet hard to flush the cleaning person dont come everyday to make the room there is no amenities of a motel thaat i can be proud and happy to stay 😔
- Craig (10/5): - Front desk was very accommodating
- Robert t (4/5): - The front desk was nice but I found a condom on the floor….
- jimmy (6/5): - Budget inn is exactly that.
It's a basic place to stay.
- Marcus (2/5): - I booked the stay online and bc my wife didn't have ID we couldn't stay or check in at all and couldn't get a refund cuz we booked it online and the manager was rude and disrespectful yelling at me
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Trash underneath the bed, hot water from sink takes multiple minutes to heat up, uncomfortable bed & cigarette burnt sheets and comforter, pubic hair & soap scum all over the shower, dated towels with holes & tears, unexpected extra fees upon check-in.
- Nicolas (2/5): - Very rude office desk worker and couple fighting out side and slamming doors
- Alexander (10/5): - Really quiet place excellent customer service
- Julius (2/5): - Everything was dirty the sheets covers pillows. Surfaces were sticky had to clean the room myself. It was so bad i decided to check out go somewhere else
- James (2/5): Hotel or horrors - This hotel was disgusting. Walked into the lobby to it seems like a sketchy deal going on. Gave $40 cash for the key to get into a room. Did not even need the key to get into the room because the door just pushed open and wouldn’t stay shut. They were bodily hairs in the toilet and on the toilet, the shower has soap, scum, and black grunge, there was the word die etched in on the door cigarette burns on the bedding and floor, food and drippings from old food in the refrigerator spiderwebs everywhere. And snoot loonies on the wall not to mention the grim that was smeared on the ceiling. Going to fight for my money back on this.. we walked out and stayed else where.
- david (4/5): - when we arrived the bed sheets were stained and linen looked dirty. bed was extremely firm. very hard to sleep on.
- David (6/5): - After check out, They would not store my bags for 30 minutes while I went across the street to get my car.
I had to carry my luggage with me, which was inconvenient
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Late check in was super helpful as we were coming back late from a concert. Overall, an ok stay for just one night cuz it offered the basics. But everything is outdated, sink cracked, holes in the linens.
- Armando (4/5): - Bed didn’t feel clean slept bad because of it as well last minute option so can’t really complain
- kathie (4/5): - Tub was stopped up, water came up to my knees which, just nasty and a health hazard...rate this place a D.
- Brianna (10/5): - Property management very nice
- Jose M (2/5): - The property does not look like what it shows on Expedia. We ended up leaving that place and booking another room! Stay away!!
- Ted (10/5): - The staff were really kind and supportive. Everythng worked out really well. Parking right in front of our door was a real plus and we appreciate them being able to provide a handicap room.
- Justine (2/5): Terrible stay - I will never stay at the budget inn ever again. The manager had a nasty attitude, he didn't inform me that I needed to pay 50 cents for ice, and either him or the person staying next to me kept banging on the wall very loud. There was some type of grease on the head board and the TV would automatically turn off every hour. So annoying and I will never stay here again.
- jacinto (10/5): - It was good for the price
- Afreen (4/5): - The state of the place is in accordance with then name. Yes it is cheaper than others in the area but you truly get what you pay for if less. They had only a thin blanket and a basic box spring mattress. They did provide me an extra blanket upon requesting. I’d say spring the little extra to stay at the Best Western across the road.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - My overall stay was satisfactory. I didn't understand ehy there was an automatic timer set on the TV. You'd be watching and it would advise you, you have xx amount of seconds before the TV would shutdown. That was annoying, especially if you weren't familiar with the channels and had to access the guide and scroll through to find your channel. When you're over 60, yhe up and down was not in your exercise program.
- Sheila (2/5): - My stay was horrible. Worst than the last 3 pr 4 times i was there. This is definitely the last. When i arrivee they wanted me to pay, but inalready paid through a third party, so as usual they had an attitude about that. They rather me pay $120-$160 versus the $96 through expedia. So he left and went to go get the lady, she tried to have me pay a $20 cash deposit. I declined because thats not a thing. Now you want me to pay extra money because i didnt pay you, i went through the third party website. So she tried to make a big deal about other crap and ignored and she gave me my key as she should have. I went to my room and they put me right in between some prositutes and pimp and drug addicts. They were so loud. I couldnt sleep. So i asked if i can be moved. The guy said no he'll talk to them. Then a hour later i had to go back and complain again. He gets an attitude with me when you should have just moved me in the first place. I was so annoyed. Never again. I rather spend more money then to go to this cheap, roach infested motel. Like bye. Never again.
- Dnaiel (10/5): Mini vacation - It was really good and fast service
- Sheila (2/5): - I left out a little late today. The guy from the office came by and left the door to the room i was in wide open. Then he came back and started playing with the door knob. Then he came and tried to rush me out the room for the towels. It was so much hostility towards me and this is everytime i come here. Last time i was here was about a month ago. This dude is always weird towards me and its ridiculous. Im only here because this place is less inexpensive on this site versus in person where i was being charged $140-$160 for the same room. I just fiund out there is a microwave for the motel. I didnt even know. I stayed here about 4-5 times already. Thats should have been something that was brought up, but he's too busy being rude. Not to mention the contant banging on the walls and ceilings early in the morning and as im trying to sleep. Constantly walking back and fourth stomping.
- Sheila (2/5): - The staff is real rude and weird towards me every time I come here. They always give me a room right next to the office or above and then their super loud. Especially when im next to them. If I'm in the shower, then theyre banging on the walls. At 11am, im getting real to depart for check out and they come into my room 11am on the dot. They're not supposed to walk in my room. Its weird and aggravating. I told them today while departing that I don't want to ve placed near them if i check in here again and the lady at the front desk, not the guy this time, just waved me off. So rude. They also were upset that I paid online instead of paying $160 in person. I paid the $95 instead before coming to check in.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Very easy to get around
- Judy (6/5): - It was clean and I felt safe. The manager was always on the look out.
- Alexis (10/5): Instant retreat - It was quiet, not fancy but comfortable.
- L. Maria (6/5): - The owner of the property charges people a $20 cash deposit for the room card, THEN on the day of checkout, he knocks on the door and asked for the room key and I realized that several times of staying here, the owner did not return my $20 cash deposit for the room card. I realized that when I was checking out and he did it again, I told him I will turn the key in at the desk and threaten to contact the BBB, Consumer Affairs and anyone else I can think of because what he is doing is WRONG. I busted him, and his wife gave me back my $20 at the window. So Mad about that, since he does it to everyone, that is a lot of added up money he is collecting under the table.
- ardell (8/5): - The staff was pleasant, the property was clean. The room was small but the price was very reasonable.
- Jessica (10/5): - Very convenient a lot of stores near by
- Annette (2/5): - This was a horrible experience. I would normally not pick this motel but everything was taken because of gay pride weekend i assume because thats the event going on locally. It was a really hot day so obviously we want turn on ac. It doesnt work because there was no button to push it on. So we complained they were going to come take a look at it but they took so long that we ended up leaving because we couldnt take it. And came back at night when it was cooler and we could tolerate being in there. Well the next morning when it was time to h
- Darnell (6/5): - The room had graffiti on the mirrors, my next door neighbor was loud my whole to days. And the room was small, no microwave inside the room. They charge for ice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great for a pit stop - We were there to go to the beach. The room was large which I liked. Even though the a/c unit looked like it wasn’t going to work it did the job but was pretty loud and tough to sleep with it on. The shower had great water pressure. It’s an older property, but the owners seem to keep it clean. They are very friendly and would probably make a pit stop here for an overnight again.
- Stephen (2/5): - Broken down, barely clean, and has an unsafe vibe.
- David (10/5): - Ive stayed at this motel several times. They are always a great value, safe, and clean.
- David (10/5): - Good value.
- Ulrich (8/5): - They are - like most properties in L.A. - pretty loud
but what can you do?
But very nice manager to lead.
Maybe get 3 / 4 layers of glass-windows - that helps.
- Marty (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Danarah (2/5): Fear of catching bed bugs - Terrible, rooms stink, dirt and old cigarette butts under bed this was after the first room smelled of urine bed hatd and springy. No microwave they have one placed outside. Never again.
- William (4/5): - What I liked, it was close to were I was working. What I didn't like, the TV kept shutting off, The bed was like sleeping on a cement slab, the bed was dirty under the blanket. I had to sleep on top of the sheets.
- Marty (8/5): - Peaceful and quiet
- Marty (10/5): - The room smells good and the bed was very comfortable.
- craig (6/5): - maybe the smallest room i’ve stayed in but then again it was the cheapest rate among motels i could find. thin walls to hear neighbors tvs & water (showers) running.
but most importantly it was very clean!!!👍👍
- Mohammad (2/5): - Terrible overall. Staff is behind a bulletproof glass, need I say more? Room is ok, not sure how clean it is. If the Days Inn across the street is 3.2/5 then this should be rated -5.
Find a better place than this!
- Kalonee (8/5): - Everything clean
- Kyree (10/5): - Great hotel
- Barbara (2/5): - Smelly ,no pet policy,no elevator I didn't stay here after arriving
- Dane (10/5): - It served its purpose and was clean
- ANABEL (2/5): - THEY CANCEL MY RESERVATION AND DIDN'T TELL ME ANYTHING UNTIL I ARRIVED, SO I WAS THERE AT ALMOST MIDNIGTH LOOKING FOR ANOTHER HOTEL. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
- Dwayne (4/5): - Rooms are small and need to be updated in every way except the television and cable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst place to stay! - I didn't appreciate the fact that I was getting a call an hour and a half BEFORE check in time ASKING what time I was going to check in. I told them sometime after 4pm. I get a second call an hour and a half after 4pm (5:30pm) once again asking then DEMANDING to know what time I was going to check in. The room was as small as a jail cell and the bed was probably just as hard too! The TV needed 2 remotes to operate, which I found ridiculous since there wasn't a cable or satellite box in the room. I was awaken by someone turning on their water at 6am. I don't recommend this place unless you're going to use it to "fool around" because you wont get any rest at all! If you do decide to book here, take $20 cash for the key deposit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Just used it for the shower, served it purpose - I basically used this room for its shower since the shower at my actual hotel was out of service the same day I was supposed to fly out of LA. It served its purpose.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good motel - It was not too bad for one night stay. The front desk lady gave me a room on the second floor as soon as she noticed I was alone (and I'm woman). I appreciate it.
The room was not super impressive but you know, it's a motel. It was good enough. I hope they will renew the towels soon. Towels were all torn. They were clean, but I think if they renew them, it'll change the impression greatly. There were some little flies in the room I guess they have home in the unit.
Wi-fi worked. TV did not. It turned on but I could not find out how to set up the TV channels?
The location is good. Quiet enough
- Brian (6/5): - Older hotel in so so area. The owners try to keep it clean but it does show its age. Smaller room has decent layout.
- ronald (8/5): - everything was good except for limited parking, I worked nights and when i got home couldn't find a spot, parked in handicapped and got myself a 263$ ticket, I mean where else was I gonna park ?
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not great - I was very un pleased on the cleanliness of the room. I literally had to wipe down the mini fridge and give it a good cleaning before using it. The AC unit also had to be wiped down. The towels they supply you with are worn down and can be seen they aren’t the best. The covers on the bed had burn marks and the pillows are not plush.
- CHRISTIAN (2/5): Won’t go there again - Horrible microwave outside of the room you can be robbed trying to use it
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good Customer Service!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The rooms were very small and tiny. The sheets had stains on them along with the Towels. The microwave was sitting outside in the parking lot
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room basic ! Microwaves didn’t work, only 2 on property. Not very clean. Well to my standards. It was just a hotel room nothing special.
- Dwayne (8/5): Stay for a day. - Air freshners can go along way.
