Staff cooked breakfast specially for us at the time convenient for us. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are not looking for a fancy Hotel but interested in the views and service.

Un accueil exceptionnel avec beaucoup de bons conseils pour visiter Pétra (exemple : rentrer par la porte arrière en prenant le Shutlle bus). Possibilité d'avoir un panier repas pour la visite de Pétra, et de nombreuses activités disponibles. La chambre spacieuse, très propre, avec une bonne clim, un matelas très bon (la chambre avait été refaite à neuf). Nous retiendrons surtout la gentillesse et l’accueil du Responsable qui fut exceptionnel. Hôtel avec piscine couverte et petit déjeuner inclus à un très bon prix. Emplacement de l'hôtel à 5mn en voiture de Pétra et 3mn du centre-ville. Enfin, superbe vue depuis notre chambre (la 208) sur la ville et le merveilleux coucher de soleil.

- Zaid (4/5): Don't recommend - The bed sheets were dirty, when they came to change them, even the new ones had dark stains on them. The gym was not a gym, a few outdated machines next to the pool. The service was average, but I would not rate the hotel a 4 star.
- Edwin C (8/5): Great Stay (if you don't mind the smell of smoke) - For the most part, we enjoyed our stay in Tetra Tree Hotel. We were a bit frustrated that we had booked connecting rooms, and were given rooms across the hall, but appreciated the hotel's efforts to apologize with a free breakfast as well as fruit baskets. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. We downgraded on comfort/cleanliness because though the rooms are non-smoking, the hallway, lobby, and upstairs almost always smelled of smoke, and the smell often entered the rooms from the hallway. Given that several of us are very sensitive to smoke, that was a bit annoying as well. If you don't mind the smell of smoke, it is a great place to stay, most rooms have a nice view, and we enjoyed the pool (and pool table) downstairs.

Didn't get to use the swimming pool but pool table was good fun especially since I was traveling with friends. Location is excellent, 5 mins away from Petra entrance.
- glynisb2017 (4/5): Not up to standard. - Reception area welcoming. Rooms a reasonable size but very dingy. The dining room with a roof top balcony is a real talking point. Cracked crockery, same food served at every meal of a poor standard. Nothing seems fresh apart from the omelettes which are cooked to order.Holes in the floor bits of sellotape stuck on the ceiling filthy windows. It is a real appetite suppressant. Needs a total refurbishment. Avoid.
- NYmarathonrunner (10/5): Best view in Petra! - If you go to Petra then you must stay at Tetra Tree Hotel! It's a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk up (20 minutes down) the hill from the main entrance to Petra. The views from the rooms and the roof top restaurant are spectacular! You're overlooking the town and Petra itself. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and have everything you'll need. Hussam, the manager, is extremely nice, responsive and helpful.
- P (10/5): - Lovely room, modern bathroom and best pillows on whole trip (including places 3 times the price). Pool is a little disappointing, but that's not the reason you are here. Easy walk into town (few good restaurants on right), and short drive to Petra parking.

- kathydC9643BT (2/5): Terrible experience! - We just arrived in Amman from Petra where we stayed for 3 nights / 4 days at Tetra Tree hotel. When we first arrived, the management did everything they could to have our room ready even though we reached the hotel at around 11ish... The room was spacious and with very good A/C, furniture and closet. However, everything else was a disappointment. First of all, the shower door did not close properly therefore there was always leakage. Also, the handle from the inside of of the shower door was missing. The towels had spots on them and the dinner was awful to say the least. After the first night that i had dinner there i fell ill and have not recovered yet even though i stopped eating anything from the hotel menu. The desert they offered was of very bad quality and the second night it smelt bad... They offered the same dish on monday night as part of the buffet (which only has 2 options of food)and the next evening they offered the same dish as set menu. The humous and olives were nice but the vegetables on the salad were cut much earlier and were dry. The first dip at the pool was disappointing as i found a dead cockroach inside the pool which i removed. The surrounding of the pool was of very bad hygiene. The water was colder than usual but this is how i liked it anyway. Now for the employees... They were all very kind, especially with our two little children. To conclude, i would not recommend this hotel to anyone i am afraid. Our first visit to Petra was in Movenpick hotel but this time our budget did not allow us to stay there as they did not offer a family room which was offered in Tetra Tree Hotel hence the choice of this hotel. However, it definitely is not a 3 or 4 star hotel..!!! I do hope the management takes note of the ratings here and make some essential changes for the hotel to survive...

With a very beautiful view where you can enjoy a romantic sunset . The food in the hotel is freshly prepared and delicious .The service is at an excellent level. I recommend it!
- lavacek47 (10/5): Comfortable hotel near the Petra entrance - Welcoming comfortable hotel. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It was very reasonably priced, about $80 on booking.com. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices both Jordanian dishes and western dishes. They have made to order eggs. The dinner buffet, 12 JOD, about $ 17 USD, was plentiful and delicious. You’ll want to eat here after a long day at Petra. The hotel has a pool in the basement which looked inviting, especially in the summer. The owner, George, was very friendly and helpful. He of Indian descent by way of Hong Kong. He spoke English very well. The only drawback to the hotel is it’s location, which is about a mile to the Petra enter an email site. We took a taxi, 2 JOD, and about 4 minutes to get to and from the entrance.

- Sightsee53712257301 (10/5): Great stay - Located on an uphill of Wadi Musa with amazing views of the city below! Very welcoming as soon as you walked in. Provided anything you needed, including setting up taxis and Turkish bath (extra of course) but worth it. What a experience. Room was clean and had all amenities one might need. Amazing views of the city from my room especially at night while the Call of Prayer is being played. Fantastic stay! Thank you

We aten BBQ in het restaurant vanwaar je een prachtig zicht had over Petra. Er was ook een lekker ontbijt. Alles was ok en het was slechts een 5-tal minuten van de archeologische siye van Petra.

- JJ503 (10/5): Great hotel, room, and service - The room was spacious, bright, and the bed was very comfortable. The air condition worked perfectly and was quiet. There was a fridge and kettle, and tea bags and Nescafe coffee packets were provided. I wasn't feeling well and didn't go down to the restaurant for breakfast and dinner for two days. The manager of the restaurant was wonderful, and helped my husband to put together some food he could bring up to the room. This was one of the best places we stayed in during a 15-day trip to Jordan.

The rooms were big, lovely, clean and very warm which was a big bonus as it was cold in January (plus the bedding was very good quality). The hotel owner was always on hand to ensure his staff were doing a fabulous job (and they did, everyone was very polite and the service was excellent). They bent over backwards to organise everything for us (and Petra itself is just a short walk away from the hotel) and we can not help them enough! Nice, safe, secure hotel to stay where you are well looked after! Plus there is an upstairs restaurant and cheap bar👍 Thank you so much and we will definitely be staying with you again, 100% recommended👍

L’hôtel se trouve sur les hauteurs mais il est à 5 minutes de voiture de Petra. La chambre était spacieuse, propre est fonctionnelle mais attention les prises sont de types G donc pas possible de brancher nos appareils sauf une prise dans la salle de bain. Nous avons dîné sur le roof top, les brochettes de viandes cuites au barbecue étaient très bonnes et surtout le service était impeccable. Si nous devions retourner à Petra, nous réserverions de nouveau dans cet hôtel sans hésiter!

Some of the bad reviewers - people who say there wasn't enough fresh fruit for breakfast etc - should stick to package hols in Spain!

After contacting him about transfers from the airport and around the area, he kept in touch and we also organised a transfer to Jerash from Amman. The Tetra Tree is a small personal hotel, a family run business. The rooms are large and well appointed. The Aircon was the best we had during our stay in Jordan. The pool, as others have mentioned, is inside a conservatory style building, so does not get the sun. We actually enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace after our days activities. The restaurant is run by another family. The buffet is good value for money and has a pretty good choice. It was all fresh. Breakfast was equally good. They do serve wine and beers, however they can run out... We had a great stay in this hotel, and if you compare the price versus the big hotels, there is no comparison. Thank you Mohamad for making our time in Jordan great!!

Cleaness of the property also good, rooms cozy and spacious, biggest and appreciative highlight: comfy& clean king beds with perfectly working air conditioning, 2 most attributes needed when you are in the "desert" Specially great service and professionalism from Mr Mohammad accommodating all needs to guests to make their stay safe and enjoyable. - Katie (10/5): Beautiful room in Wadi Musa - The Tetra Tree Hotel was a great part of our stay in Wadi Musa. It is about a 20 minute walk (downhill) to Petra; there’s also a hotel shuttle that leaves 3 times in the morning and brings back guests 3 times in the evening. Room was beautiful.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to crash while visiting Petra. - We spent a night here while we are visiting Petra. Hotel is nice and clean and close to be super fresh. The view from the hotel is top notch. The staff is extremely helpful and super nice. The location of the hotel is up the hill 5-6 minutes from Wadi Musa city center. There is not so much to do around but in our case it didn't really matter.
- Lee (10/5): An Oasis - Tetra Tree Hotel is amazing - the room, the beds and the service were all excellent. However... be aware that the buffet dinner costs about $25 and they add on a 26% tax and service fee!!!! The view from the hotel was stunning as it is on top of a hill - absolutely breath taking. But this also means that there is very little around. There’s one minimart across the street - I’d recommend getting your snacks/water etc from there and pay local prices. The front desk guy was SO helpful in getting a taxi for us to Amman - he really went out of his way to get us a returning car - which meant about 30% less then what we would have had to pay. Great place over all!
- Leoon (2/5): - Did not even get to stay at this hotel they did not have a room for me. I booked a king sized bed with city view and stayed at a hotel down the road with two single beds facing a hill. Owner tried to help and gave us a free dinner but the restaurant wasnt open at the time and we were hungry. We did not get a discount in the end and paid for our own dinner.
- Gil (8/5): Good value stay for a trip to Petra - Good value for money with very helpful and friendly staff. Good location close to petra, 3/4 minutes drive. It is not possible to walk from the hotel as there are many steep hills. You will need a car or the hotel can arrange a taxi. There's a quiet bar downstairs that serves alcohol and shisha. The rooftop is also very nice but unfortunately it was too cold during our stay to use it. The hotel provided a packed lunch for us to bring to Petra for 8 JD per person. The food provided in the packed lunch was average and we felt not worth the 16JD we paid for it. Great views from the hotel.
- Erin (10/5): - Hotel was great! The room was clean and the staff was really friendly. The staff would pack you a little sack lunch to carry with you to Petra, that was a unexpected bonus. The breakfast and dinner buffet were served on the roof and it was awesome to be able to sit outside and take in the view.
- ANASTASIA NATALI (10/5): Good experience - We didn't spend much time at the hotel but we had a good experience. The room was very beautiful and clean. The personnel was very helpful. During night when we arrived at the hotel to sleep we asked for some fruits and they brought us a big fruit plate with a variety of fruits without even charging it. We had breakfast at the terrace where there is a beautiful view of the whole city.
- Marla3009 (8/5): - Great Stay We spend 3 nights at Tetra tree hotel. The room was spacious, pretty and with comfortable bed. The breakfast was simple but good. The hotel is about 5 minutes drive from Petra, but the hotel offer free transportation to Petra and back to the hotel. They helped us with the Wadi Rum Camp and transportation to the Dead Sea. The only two things to improve are the bathroom, the shower floor needs renovation, and more options at the dinner menu in the restaurant.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - A wonderful view from the roof! The room was very clean and the staff friendly. They offered a lunch box for our day in Petra. We had dinner one night on the rooftop for the sunset. Portion sizes were large. Pool is enclosed which was a nice break from the heat. It was a little less than 30 min walk to Petra gate. Not bad in the heat if you walk slowly. Great service!
