- Fleur (8/5): Super expérience ! - L’hôtel se trouve dans une réserve privée proche d’une rivière, les tentes sont très bien aménagées, avec quelques animaux de la réserve qui viennent vous faire un coucou devant la terrasse. On a l’impression d’être isolé de tout, l’expérience est superbe ! Le personnel est très sympa et au petit soin. Les guides pour les safaris sont top (Liberty +++ très intéressant) Il faut prévoir 30min de route pour retrouver la route principale, l’hôtel est assez isolé mais c’est ce qui fait le charme du lieu.
- Desiree (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf! - We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad bij Rukiya. Het is een mooi verblijf in een prachtige omgeving, het zwembad is lekker om in af te koelen, het eten was heerlijk en het personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook de game drive was geweldig!

Vanaf de hoofdweg moet je nog +/- 30 min. rijden over onverharde wegen wat te doen is met een gewone auto indien het goed weer is. Bij ons had het reeds enkele dagen geregend en werden de wegen glad door de modder. Ondanks het slechte weer geluk gehad en op safari kunnen gaan. Goede gidsen en lekkere snacks/ ontbijt onderweg! Fijne game drive in private gebied. Zeer goede communicatie reeds op voorhand met de vraag of we wouden aansluiten voor de lunch. Maaltijden worden samen met de andere gasten gegeten wat wij zeer fijn hebben ervaren. Mooie safari tent. -

Afstand naar Kruger was meer dan een uur, ze hadden zelf niet voldoende Safari- jeeps, er werden twee dagen andere bedrijven ingehuurd, wat wel heel erg prijzig was.

Lunch aan aparte tafels en diner met de gehele groep aan een lange tafel wat voor een gezellige sfeer zorgt. Mooi verblijf met leuke safari!

Ontbijt was tijdens game drive maar was niet heel veel keuze. Game drive zelf vonden we minder vergeleken met andere game drives bij andere verblijven. De guides en tracker vonden we minder goed qua info en dieren spotten. Enkel de ochtend game drive was in een big 5 reserve, maar duurde niet heel lang vanwege de langere rit heen en terug, vonden we wel jammer…

- yuyu (7/5): - 员工充满热情，吃的安排还行，环境也很好。safari向导很优秀。 属于私人营地，从大路进去要开车大概半个小时，早上的五霸safari要开一个小时抵达另外一个保护区（不是克鲁格国家公园），有点浪费时间，然后动物不多。如果对看齐五霸有执念，建议住克鲁格公园附近。

- Pascale (10/5): - Prachtige tenten op een mooi domein aan de rivier. Lekker eten en comfortabel slapen. Ook de georganiseerde safari drives waren leuk, ook al hebben we vrij weinig dieren gezien. Er was iemand jarig uit onze groep, hiervoor werd een taart gemaakt voor iedereen. Heel attent. Echt niets.

- Marloes (9/5): - De kleinschaligheid en persoonlijke service. Je wordt echt in de watten gelegd. Als je eenmaal in de lodge bent, kun je niet gemakkelijk 'even' naar een supermarkt. Je bent dus geheel afhankelijk van de mogelijkheden op de lodge zelf. Er was zeer ruime keuze qua drank, maar om tussendoor iets te eten was de keuze beperkt.
- Humberto (8/5): Ótima barraca e estrutura, mas com passeios que deixam a desejar para avistar animais. - A cabana era bem equipada, bem espaçoso para uma família de 4, o chuveiro também era bem forte e com água quente, imagino que no verão deve ser um pouco quente, mas no inverno foi bem agradável a estadia. O café da manhã, almoço e jantar eram bons, inclusive com opção gluten free. O atendimento da equipe também era nota 10, super atenciosos e o guia também dava muitas informações sobre os animais. O único problema foi o som pois devia ter alguma festa por perto e que o som ficava ecoando a noite, não que seja um problema do hotel, pois era um barulho externo. Outro problema é que as reservas que levam para avistar os Big 5 e as non Big Five não tem muitos bichos, então foi um pouco frustrante. Ainda que dependa da natureza avistar os animais, há reservas com possibilidade de avistar mais animais que as escolhidas pelo hotel.

Bijzondere dank aan Aiden onze gids tijdens de game drive, we mochten 5 keer met hem op stap, elke uitstap was boeiend, anders en leerrijk!

- Nirvana (7/5): We thought it was a bit overpriced. - Hospitality was very good. Also the food was good. The safaris were disappointing. Of course, sightings are never guaranteed but with this reserve you were lucky to even spot an impala, an animal you would see on a regular basis everywhere else. I would skip the safaris offered by Rukiya and go to Kruger instead, where you will encounter way more animals.

With the open 4x4 the views are not blocked perfect for taking pictures Maybe the dining chairs and sofa's could be a little bit more comfortable. And, but this is me I am 2 meter, the bed are bit short.
- Leslie (10/5): Exceptional - The Accommodation offered was not up to the advertised standard Grubby Tents just generally more a Backpackers standard My guests from USA refused to stay thus I had to drive back into Hoedspruit on a challenging long dirt road and book into satisfactory Accommodation at less than half the price The owner Roxanne was unsympathetic and basically rude in handling my plight Needless to say I am resorting to Litigation to get my money back.

The location, the atmosphere, the food, and the staff were fantastic. The safaris were something else, the guides were awesome at tracking and finding animals, birds and snakes (The Black mamba a particular favourite). If you want a special trip with exceptional guides, with passion and knowledge, look no further, you have found it. Conright the guide, and his prodigies, well you made our stay! We didn't stay a little longer

- Christine (10/5): Sehr schönes, familiäres Camp - Wir haben das Riverhaus (Familien-Chalet) für 4 Personen gebucht. Das war sehr schön und grosszügig. Die Tiere (Nyala, Warzenschweine usw.) konnten wir von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Im holzbefeuerten Whirpool (wird von den Mitarbeitern aufgeheizt, kostet zusätzlich) haben wir die Umgebung genossen, war toll. Auch sonst war alles sehr schön und bestens. Die morgendliche Anfahrt ins "Big-5-Gebiet" dauert etwas und man muss sich warm anziehen, lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall.

Game drives in the area or, if you look for the big cats, in the greater Kruger area - ranger Wisdom is absolutely amazing! For us the tents could be a bit more apart, but probably not every guest sees it that way

- Jan (10/5): beautiful - the riverside location was stunning and the placement of the various tents preserved all privacy and prevented peeking in. The resort itself has plenty of wildlife that can be observed during evening game drives (morning game-drive takes the guest to nearby excellence reserve, with possibility to observe big5). - Tessel (10/5): Def stay here! Amazing, relaxed, beautiful place! - This place is truly amazing! Beautiful and peaceful. Crocs and hippos at the river, kudu's on the grass at night. The game drives were amazing and the rangers can spot the tiniest animals from far away and are walking encyclopedias. Super friendly staff, clean tents with all the amenities you can think of!

- Carolina (10/5): Exceptional - It was our second time at Rukiya and, once again, we had an amazing experience. The tents are super comfortable, the food is delicious and the staff is outstanding, they really make you feel at home. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and they set us a beautiful outdoor table for dinner. That was so nice of them. We're looking forward to staying at Rukiya again.

The staff is readily available and assisted us with friendly faces n great attitude. I was also surprised that there were no mosquitoes Honestly this place is one of its kind,it’s all good except one thing,I think you can improve the bed,it looked like two single beds combined so the middle has this wood that is uncomfortable and could injure someone’s back.
- Anna (10/5): Our best stay in Kruger, out of the 3 Accomodation we tried! - Perfect boutique private reserve, only limited amount of rooms so it feels personal. Beautiful surroundings and game watching from the pool, however feels save the whole time. Their game drive was the best one we did throughout our whole trip in Kruger. Engaging and learning a lot about game tracking from Conrad. Also it feels more personal as no other cars are allowed in the private reserve where they take you.

- Mmakgotso (4/5): Misleading advertising - Nothing The place is way beyond the money we have spent, the worse part is the combination of two separate singles into one bed, they formed a bridge in the middle of the bed and very uncomfortable. There's no options for food, we all ate one thing and the food was not nice. The quality of the food was very bad. Our room was dirty, dirty pillows too. The tents are very close to each other which limits privacy and you could hear noise from nearby tents. We had loadshedding for straight 4 hours no backup system in place and no lights in the room, you sort yourself out. We had to pay extra R250 per person daily for conservation levy, which is way too much, and this information was not shown before we booked we only got an email after paying, which was too late, should we have known it before hand we were not going to book this place.

All of the staff was so genuinely friendly and helpful and our guides (Dris and Conright) were the absolute best safari guides we met during our SA trip! their knowledge was unbelievable and they explained everything to us, it was just perfect! As the reserve the camp is on does not have the big 5 itself, you drive to a different reserve for the morning drive, which was a bit „annoying“ but is absolutely worth it!

The camp is an awesome place to stay at, and the personnel and guides are exceptionally friendly. We booked the full-day game drive in Kruger national park, and we had a wonderful time there with our excellent field guide.

Direkt am Fluss gelegen, wir konnten vom Pool ein Krokodil beobachten. Trotzdem sehr sicher. Liegt in einem eigenen privaten und abgesicherten Reservat.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Place is like an oasis. About 10min along the main sealed highway you turn off onto dirt road over the train tracks and into Wild Rivers Reserve which has wild animals including predators. Because of this, once you arrive at the property by car you cannot walk anywhere except from room to room/lodge and in daytime on the grass in front of the river which is full of crocodiles and sometimes hippos. All this can be an unreal experience knowing that lions or leopards may enter the camp site at anytime. I still felt ver safe, you just can’t get any exercise is a problem if you stay here. Still amazing to sit by the river and watch a 3-4m crocodile hang about.
