Zu teuer für das was man bekommen hat.

• tim (8/5): Clean, comfortable, good location - but be aware of the paid parking. - The location was spectacular, right next to the local train and tram car stations. The room was spacious and the furnishings were very comfortable. The onsen was also very clean and not busy at any point during my stay. The free parking situation was a bit confusing. I was directed to park in a nearby lot, but the free hotel parking was not clearly indicated and I ended up in a fee parking area on my arrival, in the dark in heavy rain. When I reported this to the hotel, they did not offer a refund or assistance to pay to release my car.

They provide robes and slippers. Room was spacious for four and the bunks were solid and comfortable. Nice building in general.

• Sara (8/5): Quick and easy to find in Gora, lovely little cheap place to stay. - Conveniently located and easy to find in Gora. A nice little hotel/hostel combination which mostly is reasonably quiet when people are chill. Very reasonably priced and they do hold little community nights which are cute if you’re into it. Unfortunately the soundproofing is not great, so if you’re a light sleeper as we are, any noise on the street or from neighbours upstairs, downstairs, and on your floor travels.

• S Dorothea (9/5): Super Lage - Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön groß und sauber. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Mitarbeitenden sollten sich ein bisschen mehr bemühen bei ausländischen Touristen. Es war mit ein zwei Mitarbeiterinnen der Rezeption ziemlich schwierig sich zu verständigen und man hatte auch nicht das Gefühl, dass es besonders herzlich, freundlich ist. Eine andere Mitarbeiterin konnte wiederum sehr gut Englisch, mit ihr konnte man sich gut verständigen. Das Frühstück war sehr mau. Kaum Auswahl, Brötchen wie im Flugzeug ohne salzigen Belag dazu. Obwohl wir beim Einchecken nach Unverträglichkeiten gefragt wurden und nach Hafermilch zum Kaffee beim Frühstück gefragt haben, mussten wir erneut beim Frühstück danach fragen und dann gab es nur Soja Milch. Der Wasserfilter im 3. Stockwerk sollte vielleicht eher bei der Küche stehen oder am besten auf jeder Etage einer.

The location is perfect, beautiful gardens, open air museum and places to eat all nearby. Baths were perfect and clean. Nothing.
• Peter Schrammen (9/5): Great stay - recommended - Great hotel next to Gora Station. The room and beds are comfortable and clean. The Onsen was really nice and we had a great view from our small balcony. We enjoyed the minibar in the room that was filled with local products. The staff at the reception was very welcoming and friendly and explained everything with a smile which made us feel welcome, specially Yoon. We were very happy to find vegetarian options on the menu for dinner in the integrated restaurant. The breakfast is a bit underwhelming. While the selection is great the quality of the products is poor. The coffee is very watery, the fruit comes from a can and is sugared and the egg is coming from a box.

• Martina (10/5): - Very luxurious hostel. Nice environment, peace, quiet. Beautiful restaurant, a bit expensive, especially for a hostel. Stuff speak very well english. The room had everything you need, maybe as a woman I would have liked a bigger mirror, but that's a detail. At the time we were staying there, there were (with a small exception) accommodated only foreigners.

• Ashley (10/5): Beautiful hotel with tattoo friendly onsen - What a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly, informative and helpful. Their dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and we took advantage of both. The onsen is tattoo friendly (yay!), the rooms were clean and well designed, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plus, it's just steps away from the train station and the cable car!

• David (8/5): - De faciliteiten in het hotel zijn top. De Onsen en het diner waren geweldig. Wij hadden de 4 persoonskamer. Het was prima, maar niet luxe, terwijl het wel de duurste kamer was die we in Japan boekten. Het is jammer dat ze geen 4 persoonskamer hebben met een tweepersoonsbed ipv 2 stapelbedden. De kitchenette is gedeeld en niet in de kamer. Volg als je hierheen komt niet het Google advies om met de bus te komen. Wij kregen advies om vanaf de bus 12 minuten te lopen maar dat is een aantal hele hoge trappen op. Niet handig met koffers. Het treinstation is voor de deur, maar ik heb geen last gehad van het geluid.

• Dr. Pia (7/5): Prima - De locate en we hadden een goede kamer. Bij het inchecken is n het hotel werd ons verteld dat we een reservering moesten maken voor het ontbijt. De vroege tijdsloten waren al volgeboekt dus we konden pas om 8.30 aan tafel. Wij moesten op tijd weg voor een afspraak en wilden daarom het ontbijt annuleren. Dit was niet mogelijk omdat het automatisch bij de prijs is inbegrepen. Daarom kregen we een ontbijt to go mee. Dit was echt onder de maat: koude roerei, een paar worstjes en een uitgedroogd croissantje en geen flesje water of iets te drinken. Erg teleurstellend.

• DMITRII (8/5): Decent experience in a well maintained facility for a budget price (dorm option). - Location is perfect if you plan to visit Gora. I stayed in a dorm room and this really exceeded my expectations. The “bed room” is spacious and comfortable. Not too hot or too cold, they seem to have some integrated ventilation i suppose. Good earplugs are provided. Onsen is fine. It has a little outdoors garden that you can not access tho :( Good breakfast. Amazing and helpful staff. They could hold your luggage for a whole checkin and checkout days. That’s how I got an extra day of Hakone lake exploring. You can only wash yourself in the onsen on the first floor. Can’t walk into the onsen’s garden. If you want to chill you have to stay near the door. Why is it like that? It would be so cool to have a relaxing area outside in that garden area!
• Emeline (7/5): Une nuit dans une région calme et moins touristique c’était agréable ! - Très accessible après avoir fait le tour de la région avec le free pass des transports Hakone. Le restaurant est très bon, et le onsen limité à 6 pers (pas gênant) est vraiment à base de soufre de la région. Malgré le double vitrage, on entend les bruits de la rue. Et cela malgré le calme du soir, donc plutôt gênant le matin.
• D1ka (7/5): - Honestly, I left a little disappointed. It's primarily a tourist-oriented place, but the common areas felt somewhat neglected and a bit unclean. The rooms are spacious, though nothing special. The location, however, is excellent. The staff weren't particularly welcoming or flexible, which didn't help the overall experience. Breakfast is mediocre — they do try to offer some variety, but it falls short of expectations. I'd recommend it for a short stay of no more than two nights, mainly for the location.

• Kylie (10/5): Must stay in Hakone - The staffs were so so lovely, especially Mio who took time to make local recommendations, and everyone is so prompt with their replies. You can tell that they are really trying their best. Food was 12/10, Kanagawa shonan pork is a must. Breakfast is very high quality.The Chef and his team are doing a brilliant job; even the carrot dressing is so yummy. Dorm rooms were so spacious, bed is very comfortable. Location is 10/10. I will come back :) Maybe sofa in the lounge area to make it more cosy

• Zmago (10/5): Stunning - The location is very close to the Gora train station. The stuff there is absolutely amazing, super friendly and nice they also prepared some activities in the evenings that we attended which was great! Next time I am in Hakone region I will stay there The window insulation was not great we could hear cars passing by
