- Elizabeth (10/5): Jungle oasis in the heart of Bonaire - This place had the exact vibe we were hoping for, a casual jungle oasis with eclectic art hidden among the trees and bird feeders for the colorful birds. Patio furniture for every type of social situation. Kitchen well appointed, great water pressure in the shower. Short walk to town. An attentive owner with whom we made friends. Wish we stayed longer. Know that mosquitoes can be present, but a small amount of Deet purchased at a nearby grocery store keeps them away.
- Nxnix (10/5): Home from home, we would definitely book here again. Thank you - Filip is friendly and sociable and Sanne too is really helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect for us, just far enough away from the hub of the city to be quiet but within easy reach of everything you need. The sea, the shops, the restaurants, diving. All absolutely fantastic. Mosquitos but what can you do about that apart from get spray OFF to ward then off.

- Anastasia (10/5): A cosy piece of jungle on Bonaire. - I absolutely loved my stay at this place, waking up surrounded by jungle plants, butterflies and singing birds was just amazing. I loved the decorations, and how cosy and private it felt. The location was also perfect, I could get anywhere easily by bike. Te Amo and Bachelor beach are just a few minute ride away. 2 big supermarkets are also just around the corner. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, great communication. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely book this place whenever I go to Bonaire. The Wi-Fi in my room was sometimes a bit slow, but worked well at the pool area.

- Christine (10/5): We had a great month, with lovely hosts in a small complex with a difference! - Small complex. pool on site, great hosts welcoming, informative, helpful and kind, location near town to get to restaurants as well as supermarkets, lots of beautiful birds on the flowers planted by the hosts. Mosquitos, if you are staying for a long period you need access to a washing machine.

- Catrin (10/5): Exceptional - After not getting our rental car at the airport, Els spontanously picked us up at 11pm and even gave us a welcome drink afterwards. The next morning Filip took plenty of time to tell us all the great snorkeling spots, restaurants, places of interest,... On the island. One night they organized a bbq at the beach which everybody was welcome to join. Thanks for all your kindness, help and welcoming manner througout our stay! :)

The owners were extremely helpful and let us store our bags/check out later due to having an evening flight.

- Joseph (10/5): Great place and great owners and managers - now my friends - So, we had a few email exchanges with Filip & Els, before the trip and hey were super quick to reply> They can help with rental cars, diving packages, etc. and so so helpful. Casa Calexico is small only 6 units so you get to know the others staying there - all nice people. Els was away for the time we were there but Filip and Maiko (the manager) were always around and helpful with whatever. We had some great BBQs with them, our friends, and the other guests. Great food, wine, company. Filip and Maiko are both great cooks and we all cooked together. There is a small pool to cool off. The apartments are also fantastic ! Bedroom, nice bathroom, small kitchen outside and fridge, I cooked there a few times. Also good wash station with two big tubs to wash dive gear and there are locker to dry the gear overnight. Easy walk to the ocean and to the main town for drinks, dinner, gelato, etc. Looking forward to getting back to Casa Calexico in the near future. Looks them up, you'll like it ! Promise. All was good.

- Anne-lynn (10/5): Wonderful place to stay on Bonaire! - I had a great stay here! I loved having my own room, great outdoor kitchen facilities, hammock, parking right by the property, swimming pool, grill... There is just too much to list! The hosts were very sweet and accomodating; from the moment I checked in until the day my flight left (where they allowed me to stay a little longer and shower, so that I could go snorkeling on my last day on the island). They had great recommendations for the island and I loved chatting with them throughout my stay. Most beaches aren't within walking distance, but you will need a car anyway to explore the island.
