- FruKnapp (10/5): A hotel worth visiting more then once in a lifetime - We arrived on a snowy, dreary day in February, but each day at this hotel felt like a ray of sunshine. From start to finish, everything was pure perfection. As travelers who have stayed in hotels all over the world, this easily ranks among the very best. The staff seemed to have one mission—to make sure we were completely taken care of—and they absolutely delivered. The rooms are exquisite, beautifully curated by a local in-house designer (if I understood that correctly), and the comfort matches the elegance of the design. We visited the spa every day, and the gym appeared to have everything one could need. The food was exceptional—both dinner and breakfast were truly top-notch. We can’t wait to return in the summertime, especially since the Tivoli Gardens were closed during our visit.

The junior suites we stayed in were beautiful and spacious. We loved the fireplaces. We loved having drinks at the beautiful bar on the 2nd floor. We have stayed at top luxury hotels around the world, including Aman, One & Only, Four Seasons, etc. and this is one of our favorites. We can't wait to come back.

Most hotels have a Rubbish fitness room, but this one is definitely well equipped! One of the best small Hotel gyms I’ve ever been in. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. Whilst it’s a five star hotel it it’s sort of not quite like that

It is possible you even get a glimpse of the peacock passing by at your window. Just a Single Night gives you the feeling of a Long vaccation. Worth a try!

Added benefit of free access to gardens and rides at Tivoli, so if you plan to visit there, this hotel is definitely the best option. Friendly, helpful and professional staff, delicious food in the brasserie and a buzzy atmosphere. Great for pre-dinner drinks too. We stayed in December and the festive decorations, and the little extra touches in the rooms (including personalised stockings for the children) were wonderful. Faultless stay.

We loved the Nimb Hotel and its Staff. If you in Copenhagen stay here. Also the best Hot Dog in Copenhagen is across the street at John’sHotdog. My wife and I recently returned from a 15-day trip to Switzerland via Copenhagen. Our trip started in Copenhagen and ended in Copenhagen. For the Swiss portions of our trip, we went to Zürich, Grindelwald, Zermatt, and finally Montreux. Every place was stunning, making for a great trip. In each city, we stayed at hotels rated as 5 Star properties from various sites. Both times in Copenhagen we stayed at the Nimb Hotel. The Nimb was our favorite! True 5 Star! Nimb’s accommodation was top-notch, as was the location across the street from the train station. It also is part of the Tivoli Gardens which provides guests free and exclusive access from the hotel into the gardens. The gardens decorated for Halloween were awesome. It was great being able to come and go via the hotel private entrance. I must admit, as seen from the street and main entrance the Hotel does not look like anything special. Once inside though it’s quite lovely. The hotel is unique. Our rooms, each had views of the gardens, were lovely and well appointed. A welcome gift awaited us for each of our stays. The Hotel bar is wonderful with a large fireplace that had a real fire each night. The hotel also has one of the best equipped gyms I have used in a hotel. Breakfast in the Café each day was perfect with a view of the garden, nice buffet/menu selections and peacocks strutting by outside the floor to ceiling window. We had dessert in the restaurant one night and will say two words…Peach Melba...order it. But what truly makes the Nimb stand out is the staff. All were welcoming, friendly, extremely helpful… you name it. This applies equally to the front desk, the café, the bar, housekeeping, the gym/spa and in the restaurant. For example, our flight got in earlier than expected so we got to the hotel at about 9 AM. The front desk said our room was not ready which not a surprise. They said they would make every effort to get it ready as soon as possible. I have heard that before, but they did. Our room was ready by 11. Another example, each night we went to the bar and sat by the fire, so nice. One night I felt like some dessert, something sweet, but the staff said they do not normally have dessert items in the bar but said she will see what she could do. She came back with a beautiful plate of sweet treats. It was a nice, individualized touch that I appreciated. Another example, our first morning, waiting for our room and having coffee in the cafeteria, a friendly staff member came to us, and asked us about our trip. She took the time and effort in a relaxed fashion, unlike many concierges who always seem preoccupied and in a hurry, gave us tips about the city and a wonderful dinner recommendation. I’ve been fortunate to be able to stay at a lot of highly rated/5-star hotels. I cannot remember one that has checked all the boxes like the Nimb Hotel. This place was perfect. I highly recommend the Nimb Hotel.

- Q6667UTstefank (8/5): A unique property - Nimb Hotel Copenhagen is located right opposite Copenhagen's Central Station, which is an extremely convenient location. At the same time it is part of the historical Tivoli Gardens amusement park, and all guests enjoy free access as well as a free pass to the majority of attractions in the park. The view from our room in the hotel's ancient section was stunning with the City Hall being visible throughout day and night, and the park's lights and seasonal decoration as a wonderful source of inspiration during the dark hours of Halloween time. While the room was beautiful with many pleasant enhancements such as a marvellous bathing tub, a high-class shaving kit, a fireplace, tasteful wooden floor and a high-class complimentary minibar only excluding wines and spirits, the hotel's service approach was less convincing - despite a generous welcome present. Some requests from our side had been saved in the hotel's CRM system, but had not been prepared for us. General Manager Maria, on the other hand, was friendly and made us a special gift by providing a big bottle of body lotion for us. The front desk refused to provide us a room with a King Bed, and attention of and interest in guests was limited with the exception of a couple of team members, notably service at breakfast. The breakfast team stood out with extremely friendly and professional ways. Abbey and Faith were simply delightful and made our starts into the day special on every occasion. Also, the quality of breakfast products was amazing, one of the best breakfast experiences so far. The sparkling tea and the pastries were unforgettable. At the front desk, there was another lady who was always there for a friendly chat before leaving the property. Our lunch at Fru Nimb was very tasty and accompanied by friendly service, yet pricing policy was not transparent and we had to reclaim an overcharge according to the menu. After all, we enjoyed our time at Nimb very much, but were left a little disappointed at the lack of service excellence.

- KingDing2016 (10/5): Some of the best service we've ever received - I almost never write reviews, but I wanted to let the world know how special the service at this hotel is. The attention to detail in the room--from little treats left for you each day to a working, wood-burning fireplace that the staff will light for you, to everything you could possibly need during your visit--is second to none, but the personalized service from the team is even better. If you need something, they will have it to your room in about 2 minutes, and they will go out of their way to make sure you're enjoying your time in Copenhagen. Here are a few service highlights: 1.) The restaurant manager (I'm assuming she was the manager, although I don't really know) came to our table on our second day at breakfast and struck up a conversation about our plans. She gave some recommendations of some of her personal favorite restaurants. We dined at two of them, and both were phenomenal... Never would have picked them on our own. She found a way to put a personalized touch on our experience without us even asking. 2.) My wife spoke to (I think) August about booking a sauna experience, something with a local feel. He recommended and booked one for us that was way off the beaten path and one that we did not find in any of our own searching. It was a truly Danish experience and something that got me out of my comfort zone. We ended up having an absolute blast and will never forget squeezing into a blazing-hot sauna with 20 Danish people, while an instructor in a swimsuit danced to music and fanned waves of intense heat at us. It was nuts, and I am SO thankful for the recommendation. Was a highlight of the trip. 3.) We unfortunately had a 6AM flight on checkout day. We asked the front desk to arrange a taxi the night before. The front desk agent asked if we wanted to have some light breakfast and coffee waiting for us, something we've never been offered in all our travels. When we came down before 4AM, there were hot coffees and fruit waiting on the desk, our bill was pre-printed and waiting for us, and the taxi was outside. The bellman loaded up our stuff, and we were on our way, breakfast and coffees in hand, in a matter of moments. Truly the best departure experience we could have asked for in that moment. Thank you all for a great stay! Hope we can visit again one day.
- patsypylo (4/5): Below expectations - Despite a few memorable moments, my overall experience fell short of expectations. The head concierge, Markus, was exceptionally kind and took the initiative one evening to show me around Tivoli, which was closed for its Christmas setup — a thoughtful gesture I truly appreciated. During check-in, the lady who handled the process and the gentleman who assisted with my luggage (and later with check-out) were both wonderful. The bartenders at both bars were also consistently attentive and considerate. However, given the rate of USD 1,000 per night for two nights, I expected a higher level of attention to detail. My room was not properly cleaned — the trash was emptied, and my slippers were left in disarray. My laundry was also not returned on time as promised; when I called to follow up, the gentleman I spoke with incorrectly suggested that I had a "do not disturb" sign on, which was not the case. In addition, one of my laundry items was left uncleaned without any prior notice or explanation. The final disappointment came at departure: as I left the hotel with my luggage, no one offered to help me with the door. The two gentlemen at the front desk remained focused on their screens, leaving me to manage on my own. Although some staff members were delightful, the overall experience did not meet the standards one would expect at this price point. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this hotel.

What a pleasure to bask in luxury at the Nimb hotel. We enjoyed our outdoor patio on the garden and the rooftop deck with view of the fireworks over Tivoli. The staff was beyond gracious.

- FlyBalletGuy (10/5): Relaxed luxury, phenomenal food. - I was fortunate enough to redeem Hilton certificates for a two night stay at the Nimb. I can’t think of a better use for them. LOCATION: Central as can be. Directly opposite Copenhagen’s central rail station, tucked into the gates of Tivoli. ROOM and DECOR: The Nimb was less over-the-top opulent than relaxed-luxurious. My room, a deluxe double, l was decorated with a mix of Danish and Asian wooden antiques. It was not cramped at all (the bathroom was quite large) but I think it would have have been tighter for two people SERVICE: One of the hotel’s high points. Staff is proactive, friendly and experienced, both at the front desk and in the dining room. I was welcomed with confections, which were replenished at evening turn-down. Joy at the front desk always took care of my small requests. FOOD: The other high point. Copenhagen takes food very seriously, and the hotel’s brasserie is phenomenal. I had both breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast was hybrid buffet with an a la carte choice as well, and involved stunning patisseries. The croissants there were the best I recall having ever including in Paris. Dinner was homemade pasta with seafood made with the same care. Service was without blemish. Not cheap, but I got what I paid for. VIEW: My room looked out over Tivoli and the pantomime theater. It was particularly magical at night when the park was illuminated. VALUE: There are less than 40 rooms in the hotel. If you do redeem for an award, assume an upgrade will not happen. I was quite happy with the room I had. That room may not be as satisfactory for two people, depending on how well you sleep in a double bed together. CONCLUSION: Most hotels in Copenhagen will give you sticker shock. I have stayed at budget places here as well, and they were not any better value for what I got. The Nimb is a great place to redeem an award, and if you have the wherewithal to pay the going rate, the hotel didn’t make a single mistake during my two days. The situation makes a lot of sense if you will be taking day trips by train, or spending time at Tivoli, both of which I needed to do this trip. Admission to the park via private entrance at the back of the hotel is included with your stay, as well as entry to rides (but I wasn’t able to do that this trip). One of the nicest things to do was to take an evening walk at about 9:30, as the park got quiet but the lights were still illuminated. It feels as if you have Tivoli to yourself. I would happily return.

The hotel itself offers a warm welcome and a never ending willingness to help make your stay enjoyable. We loved the ease of getting to all the tourist attractions. In particular Laura Jane was so warm and friendly with her team at breakfast attending to our every need. She was always willing to spend some time each day to ask how we were, what we were planning and offered lots of suggestions. She is a great asset to Nimb! We had dinner in both Fru Nimb and the Bistro both of which were delicious. Fru Nimb staff need to be a little more attentive to their guests. From house keeping to the front desk we had everything we needed from them, they did a great job..

- DRD618 (10/5): Wonderful experience! - I can't rave enough about this hotel. 1. Its location is unmatched; you are literally adjacent to Tivoli Gardens. A hotel stay comes with free access and a ride pass. (We are senior citizens so we didn't do the rides but it was a nice amenity to say the least.) Each night after dinner we would walk the park and just marvel at the beautiful grounds. We had breakfast on the terrace our last morning overlooking the gardens and it was really magical. It is a happy place. 2, The hotel itself is beautiful. Extremely well maintained. 3. The staff (reception desk, housekeeping, concierge) is of the highest quality. I want to especially thank Joy but everyone we encountered was professional and friendly. My wife wound up getting sick and the hotel put me in touch with a doctor who was able to prescribe medications. 4. The food was very, very good. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant the evening before we checked in (we had at the last minute decided to stay an extra day in the city and the Nimb was booked so we stayed down the street) and the setting, service and food were all top notch. We will be back.

- TheCloser440 (10/5): A Truly Magical and Unforgettable Hotel Experience - I need to start by saying this might be the most unique and special hotel I've ever stayed at. Having been fortunate enough to experience some of the world's best spa hotels, numerous Ritz-Carltons, Four Seasons, and St. Regis properties, Nimb simply stands apart in a category all its own. What makes it so magical is its seamless integration with Tivoli Gardens. Our room had a stunning view directly into the park. I'll never forget the experience of sitting with a drink and watching a live play being performed on the stage just outside our window. It truly feels like you are in a private, serene world apart from everything else. Another favorite moment was looking out the window early in the morning and watching the gardeners and staff quietly prepare the park for the day; it felt like getting a secret glimpse behind the curtain. The people-watching is unparalleled. The luxury is certainly there. The room finishes were excellent, the provided robes and slippers were very high quality, and my wife loves the Nimb handbag she kept as a souvenir. The service was flawless from the moment we arrived. The staff met our car at the curb and handled all our luggage seamlessly, both coming and going. We had a fantastic dinner at the Nimb Brasserie, enjoying the wonderful food on the patio while watching the park-goers. Be prepared for some friendly bees, but as the hotel is in Tivoli GARDENS, that is to "bee" expected! Also worth mentioning, though not part of the hotel itself, the easy park access meant we also had very easy access to dine at the amazing rotating Michelin stat pop-up offering (Smoked Room while we were there) in the Japanese Pagoda, which was worth every penny. While nearly everything was perfect, a couple of minor notes: the spa was just okay for us, with a nice hammam but a steam room that wasn't overly steamy. And while the rooftop pool is visually stunning, it can feel a bit like you're on display to the surrounding bar and restaurant patrons. These were small things in an otherwise perfect stay. This is more than just a hotel; it's an experience. A final practical tip: the more affordable rooms are limited, so you need to book way, way in advance to secure one. We cannot recommend Nimb highly enough.

- jamiepdx (10/5): Perfection - Perfection at every turn. My sisters and I went to celebrate a birthday, and we were beyond impressed. Our plane landed early, so we scheduled massages at the Nimb spa, which were excellent. The front desk welcomed us, stored our luggage, served us tea, and did everything possible to make us comfortable. Our rooms were beautiful with unique furniture, a fireplace or terrace, and luxury linens. I ordered flower arrangements, which added to the indulgent experience. Breakfast every morning was the perfect mix of curated buffet with items off the menu. We still dream of the breakfast weeks later. Before we booked The Nimb, we debated other luxury hotels in Copenhagen and are so pleased with our choice. The staff could not have been more kind and thoughtful. We planned this trip as a once-in-a-lifetime event, but returning in the future now feels inevitable.

- alxbchn (10/5): Best hotel in Copenhagen - This is the best hotel I've ever had the opportunity to stay at, bar none. The location being right across from the train station is just the first plus of the hotel, and the clever integration/retrofit of a building in Tivoli is a very special and unique aspect that sets the hotel experience apart from other luxury hotels. It was a real pleasure being able to have breakfast with a view to the park and seeing the resident peacock crowing by the patio. Breakfast is a highlight and being able to get it through room service made my stay significantly more enjoyable, comfortable and convenient. The quality and selection available is at a high standard and quality. Service throughout the entire hotel, including the Rooftop Bar, Nimb Wellness, concierge, room service and housekeeping is top notch. The staff strikes the right mix between friendly, warm, welcoming, professional, and efficient. This is a 5-star hotel through and through. Lastly, I very much appreciated the small but thoughtful extras that I would be greeted with upon returning to my room for the evening. This included notes on guest-only Yoga sessions in the park to local microbrewery beers celebrating the Friday evening rock concerts. I've been to a couple boutique luxury hotels and big name American ones but NIMB is by far the best luxury hotel I've had the pleasure to stay at.
- Jo (8/5): Expensive Hotel Experience - Great location adjacent to the Tivoli gardens.The front desk staff are exceptional. Friendly but professional. This theme is carried on with the guys working the roof top pool areas. Disappointingly the pool area and bar was closed for a private function on our first evening. This is a pet peeve of mine. Zero danish pastries on the Breakfast buffet was a shame.

The facility itself is located conveniently across from the central train station and adjacent to Tivoli Garden, which provides both ease of movement throughout Denmark and lots of excitement. Yet more remarkable, though, are the outstanding staff, facility, and service that The Nimb provides its guests. The Nimb cares for its guests as if you are family, and, by the end of your stay, you will not want to leave. The staff are kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will always treasure our time at The Nimb, and hope to return soon!

Great location and easy walking distance to many of the popular tourist spots All hotel staff really helpful and professional. Great junior suite overlooking the Tivoli Gardens. Nicely appointed and really appreciated all the little "extra" touches in the room. Didn't have an opportunity to eat in the brasserie.. but did have several cocktails in the American Bar and some bar food- all of which were superb. Would recommend.

The rooms are beautiful and full of luxury extras. Staff could not be more helpful. The hotel is filled with beautiful floral arrangements and the public spaces are super stylish.

Both the room decor and the view of Tivoli Gardens are beautiful. The hotel staff provides impeccable service. The hotel arranged for a bouquet of red roses and our favorite bottle of scotch. The working fireplace is a particularly nice touch. The Nimb Hotel raised a high bar which will be difficult to reach on our 40th anniversary.

- ElaineBruce (10/5): A wonderful Stay - My husband and I stayed at the Nimb for a special occasion as we usually stay elsewhere in Copenhagen. From check-in to checkout, every part of the stay was superb. The staff were friendly and welcoming with us, with none of the stuffiness that we have encountered at other hotels of this calibre. Every part of the stay exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was very good and the pastries were to die for. The staff at breakfast were happy to ensure that being a picky eater, I could get what I wanted. There was no word 'no' in their vocabulary, just the word 'absolutely' and this went for all the staff at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and our looked out onto the park. We had a fireplace which could be lit but we did not need this. The shower was a walk in shower and large and powerful and the towel were big and fluffy. The his and her sinks were great too. It was a large size bathroom that also had a bath if you wished to use that. Often, you would see a peacock outside the hotel and lots of time he was happy showing his feathers. The hotel can also arrange a few special trips and we went to the Aquarium in Tivoli and hand fed the fish, which can only be arranged by the hotel. in the The hotel is located in Tivoli Park and you get access to the park and rides each day of your stay and whilst the park is open, you can use the main entrance for exit and entrance which takes 5 minutes of the walk to town, which is very near. and you can easily walk to Nyhvn. It is also near the Botanical Gardens and we found that due to the location, we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. This was meant to be a one-off stay but we are now looking to book again for next year as we were thoroughly spoilt and want to experience this hotel again. Next time, I want to experience the rooftop there as this time we ran out of time. This was worth every penny we spent.
- Evelyn (10/5): - I arrived here with my twin 10 year old children, traveling as a single mom. We stayed for a week. The staff was so kind and accommodating and we were VERY demanding. I needed a lot of support and they never once made me feel like I was a burden. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food first class and the location cannot be beat. The fact that arm bands into Tivoli were included in our stay every single day was a huge bonus. You just walk out the back door and you are in the park. The park is magic. I cannot say enough about The Nimb. We will be back for sure! It’s expensive but truly worth it. Five stars.

- 703deenap (10/5): Great Choice In Copenhagen! - The Nimb does everything right! The atmosphere exudes understated elegance. Service was always fast, efficient and polite. The location of the Nimb is awesome- right across from the main train station. Tivoli Gardens, was closed when we were there but I can only imagine how wonderful it is to be right there when it is open. We were a 15-20min walk to almost every place we wanted to go. We had a junior suite which was a nice size and it also had a lovely terrace area. The rooms have thoughtful touches like a lime on a cutting board on the bar area. There was also a pillow menu. The lighting in the room was very dim though and everything must be on a motion sensor as lights were continuously dimming and then getting brighter if we moved about. The bathroom was a nice size and also very well appointed. Breakfast was included and it was great as we were able to order room service from that as well. The food was always prompt and very good. Housekeeping did a great job and the turn down service was awesome. Really a well down hotel with first rate staff.
- lunartuna (10/5): Notably Nimb - Certain hotels are synonymous with the city you visit. For us, Nimb fits that brief on all levels. We stayed during the first weekend of March, and although Tivoli was closed for it's annual maintenance, this had no impact on our stay. The staff are simply delightful at the Nimb, from reception to breakfast, to the bars in the evening. Of particular note were the young Italian waiter in The Nimb bar, and the lady at reception, both of who's name escapes me. The general manager Maria, took time to say Good Morning as we walked out from breakfast. It's this attention to detail and friendliness that makes you feel incredibly welcome and appreciated. The Nimb Wellness spa is a must visit after 20,000 steps around the city by day. As is the Nimb Bar for the wonderful fairytale cocktails. We had a deluxe room with a great view over Tivoli and a part complimentary mini bar which was most welcome. In summary, what an exquisite hotel in a perfect location with staff that are delightful.

- Kalie (10/5): Nimb made our wedding trip so special! - We flew to Copenhagen to elope and we couldn't be happier with Nimb hotel and their services. Pierre, the guest experience manager joined us as a witness for our wedding , took photos, and brought champagne. He went above and beyond and we are so grateful. We ended up eating at The Brasserie two nights in a row we were so impressed with the food. Additionally, it was one of the best hotel gyms we've experienced and the 90 min massages were well worth it.

- Simon (10/5): - We stayed 4 nights in this fabulous hotel. We booked it because it was a top quality hotel near the station but did not realise how integrated it is with the Tivoli Gardens. The bedroom terraces are in the garden. We had not thought to check if the gardens were open during our stay and talking to other guests we were not the only ones. I recommend you check opening before you book, if visiting the gardens and going on rides and to shows is central to your trip then it must be open; but if you are doing other things in Copenhagen it might be preferable for them to be closed. They were open for our last day and were wonderful but I sense they could be noisy when they have rock concerts etc.
- Hao (10/5): - The Nimb Hotel is truly exceptional. Having traveled extensively, we can confidently say it ranks among our top five hotels. From start to finish, it delivered a true five-star experience—impeccable staff, excellent service, beautifully appointed rooms with antique furniture, superb restaurants, and awesome views of the Tivoli garden and the remarkable moorish-style building itself. A highlight of our stay was when a beautiful peacock strolled onto our balcony—how often does that happen? At night, the hotel and Tivoli Gardens were illuminated in a magical display. We loved the unexpected (and free :) concerts in the park and just strolling in the park. We felt pampered and enchanted and plan to return—next time, we hope to stay on a higher floor for even more stunning views.
