- AndreaB11571 (10/5): Beautiful guesthouse with perfect service - The guesthouse is situated within a beautiful garden. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the wooden terrace. The swimming pools are beautifully designed. A bar area provides a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a drink in the evening. The owner is happy to assist with any questions. A particular highlight is the provision of small cooler boxes for picnics in the nearby Kruger National Park. The rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, are very lovely. The bed, complete with a mosquito net, featured excellent mattresses. There is a small terrace located just outside the garden door. The staff are charming, and the dogs are adorable. The guesthouse is fenced and secure. A truly wonderful stay.

Id go back just for another one of those alone...... and to hang out with the resident dogs :) The honesty bar is a nice touch also! Nothing

- Charles Tendai (10/5): Magnificent family stay - Wonderful place for a peaceful stay whilst visiting the Kruger national park. Isabella is all hands on deck and one feels very welcome. Only issue is beyond the property control. The municipality should urgently fix the roads.

Gostei de tudo, mas sugeriria que locassem bicicletas para que pudéssemos conhecer a cidade, visto que os mercados e restaurantes são longe e a cidade não dispõe de serviço de taxi ou Uber.

There rooms were gorgeously decorated and very comfortable to stay in. We could not have asked for friendlier staff and owners Jan and Isabella La lechere is a stone throw away from the KNP so there is plenty of wildlife to enjoy! The beer bottle rolls over falls down and breaks: What a mess! A little while later... The same happens with my glass! The hosts were so nice and kind about it; not the slightest feeling of "how clumsy this stupid guest is" or anything remotely like that! Quite the contrary: UNDERSTANDING, SYMPATHY, HELPFULLNESS. In short "Gastfreundshaft" (Hospitality with a personal touch). I am coming back: "I'll be back.." (with plastic bottles and plastic cups!)

- Luismihb (10/5): - Everything is just perfect. It was the second time we stayed at La Lechere, and it was beyond what we remembered from our last stay. The whole team who works there are absolutely fabulous and keep it mind every detail. The room was perfectly clean and refreshed daily at the perfect time, our breakfast was fantastic, both types of them while having it by the garden / pool area, or the take away type which is meticulously prepared in a lovely cooler box to take with us while we were early morning for a game drive around kruger Park. The location of La Lechere is about 6 minutes drive from kruger. The Garden is beautiful and makes you feel like you are in an oasis, far away from any disturbances. We also used their pool, perfect to chill, and the laundry service which was fast and super efficient. We will definitely go back with some more family to share with them such a Eden of tranquility.

- Katharina (10/5): Fantastisches Hotel mit fantastischem Service! - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen und vergeben ohne Zweifel die Note 1. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Man fühlte sich jederzeit willkommen und sehr gut aufgehoben.Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls optimal - nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt befindet sich das Gate, ein Supermarkt, eine Tankstelle und ein hervorragendes Restaurant - alles, was man braucht, um ein tolles Safarierlebnis zu haben. Der Pool im Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und wird stets durch einen Staubsauger sauber gehalten - das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Und auch so ist die Hotelanlage sehr gepflegt und es wird viel Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt. Das Frühstück war super und selbst am Tag der Abreise, welche bei uns sehr früh anstand, wurde dafür gesorgt, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Wir haben ein ganz tolles Lunchpaket erhalten, welches extra für uns zubereitet wurde. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder! Alles war perfekt!

A warm welcome, perfect suggestion for dinner, a great nights sleep and a delicious breakfast. Our first day into the park coudn’t have started any better

- brebro17 (10/5): Beautiful property! - What a little gem nestled so perfectly away from anything. Our rooms and bed were very comfortable. Loved our private little lapa outside our room. The pool was well equipped with lounges and towels for guests. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful!
- riaan781 (8/5): Overnight Stay - The room was lovely and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The accommodation is very clean and tidy. The only negative is that the guest house doesn't serve dinner.

- Brenda van Helden (9/5): Prachtig verblijf, goede locatie - Het onderkomen voelde echt Afrikaans. De kamer was groot, bed comfortabel, 2 zwembaden, ontbijt was zalig, personeel top. Parkeren is op eigen, afgesloten terrein Niets viel tegen.

- Robert (8/5): Great Breakfast, Nice Pool, and Helpful Staff - We really enjoyed our stay at La Lechere Guest House. The breakfast was excellent, the pool area very relaxing, and our room was spotless. The hosts were also very helpful with day trips and local recommendations, which made planning easy. Be aware that it’s a bit far from most restaurants, and the access road has some potholes and litter. The route to get there can feel a bit like a maze the first time, but once you arrive, it’s a lovely, peaceful spot to unwind.

Breakfast was awesome and was a mini buffet with fruit, pastries and cooked breakfast of your choice. Overall an enjoyable stay and would use them again on my next business trip or stop over to Kruger.

- Christopher (10/5): - The facilities are in excellent condition, the staff is lovely, the breakfast is very good, and it's not far from the Kruger gate and shops. Unfortunately the people in the adjacent room to mine were blaring music or TV until late in the evening and I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. But the place itself is great.

- X3727KCdirks (8/5): Our stay - 9 -11 September - La Lechere is really worth visiting. The owners are very friendly and love having guests and makes everyone feel welcome. All the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay better. Breakfast was also great.

Only slight negative was that Dogs barked in the night 11pm and 4am and woke us a few times. Not sure if it was the neighbours dog so maybe couldn’t be helped? But over all was amazing stay! Er werd heerlijk voor ons gekookt en voor ons was het de eerste keer in Afrika en bij vragen werd er snel en goed gereageerd. Daarnaast hebben ze voor ons een heel goede Safari geboekt . Mocht je naar Phalaborwa gaan dan is deze accommodatie zeker een aanrader Niets

Sono arrivata senza bagaglio, smarrito dalla compagnia aerea, e mi hanno prestato giacche extra per il safari oltre a verificare la consegna della valigia, dal momento che noi eravamo fuori per il safari. Grazie!! Tutto perfetto. Purtroppo nei giorni in cui eravamo ospiti non sono state organizzate cene in guest house, ma è una scusa per tornarci. Consigliatissimo.

The showers should have doors, water was spilling all over the floor. On Saturday evening the water from the shower was cold, I don’t know why was that.

Le stanze sono grandi e pulite e il personale (Monya) ci ha accolto con gentilezza e disponibilità, fornendo tutte le indicazioni e consigli del caso. Buona la colazione nel rispetto delle preferenze degli ospiti (dolce e/o salata).

- E5464ZLjo (10/5): Four star guest house La Lechere - La Lechere was easy to find and very near the Kruger gate in Phalaborwa. We were asked if we would join for diner. This is a true must. Jan made us a four course diner and the second night we had an Asian meal. Both Absolutely great. Really worth four stars. The room with en-suite was lovely with four poster bed and clean. We are sure to come again.
- Samantha (9/5): A pleasant stay - A luxurious location, right by the Phalabowra gate. They are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. I I think a little more soundproofing could be helpful because you can hear the dogs barking all night.
