Guest Reviews
- Roa (10/5): - The room was spacious and clean.
- Herrick Louis (7/5): - Valie for money and location. Door knob is faulty.
- madarcos (4/5): - The location is good The ambiance is not like in the photos showing in the booking.com, mosquitoes are disturbing, and cockroaches are everywhere.
- Aira (9/5): -
- Ma. Mildred (1/5): don't get fooled w/pix & ads,bad smell, cockroach, no breakfast - our dog was accommodated but with a fee
aside from that, nothing more eveything, accommodation didn't come with free breakfast as booked
property responded that we were offered continental breakfast, when ? was it during our first morning ? i particularly asked your girl staff and she said it was not included. i did not bother to make it a big issue - the cockroach, the bad smell, the ants - as we were busy preparing for the wedding we attended then. Owner should just reflect on the reviews and not rebutt and make us the bad guys.
- Miller T. Perez (9/5): - We enjoyed the artworks. The owner is also hospitable.
- Marek (10/5): - Room at a very good price, everything you need, a beautiful garden, a place with an amazing atmosphere and soul, close to the center. I had no problems at all. Pure pleasure. Everything was perfect
- GAVIN (9/5): -
- CheRwayne (8/5): Last minute booking but still we're glad to choose this place. - We like the location, it's near and accessible to restaurants. They also upgraded our room coz we didn't notice that the room we booked doesn't have an attached bathroom. The staff were also nice. And the room was ok. The bed was comfy and the room is quite spacious. They didn't have a heater so it was a bit difficult for us since it was really cold. And also atleast have an electronic water heater and mug so guests can have coffee anytime they want. Coz we need to pay for hot water for coffee. If they didn't have heater for shower, an electronic water kettle will be ok.
- Meos (10/5): -
- Erika (10/5): - The bed was very comfortable. Staff and owners were also very nice, left me to my own thing but also were friendly
- Myrna (4/5): -
- Cruz (8/5): Our Homey Stay at Marius Bnb - The whole compound feels so homey and welcoming—clean, simple, yet vibrant and artistic. Even with all the beautiful plants around, it’s surprisingly mosquito-free! Our room was very spacious and perfect for our family, especially since we have two kids with lots of things.
We’re really happy we chose to stay with Marius. It was such a great decision, especially since it’s conveniently close to the church and wedding venue we attended.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the food at their café. Everything was sulit—generous servings, super delicious, and still affordable.
What truly made our stay special was how warm and accommodating everyone was, from the staff to the owner, Mr. Marius himself. He even gave us a tour around the place! Our kids also had so much fun and even made new friends during our stay.
We’ll definitely be booking again at Marius BnB. Highly recommended! We had a small concern with the main door because there’s a little gap at the bottom, so we were a bit worried about insects getting in. Thankfully, we didn’t encounter any during our stay, so that was a relief.
The bathroom also has an open gap at the top as part of its design, since it doesn’t have its own window or exhaust. It can feel a bit uncomfortable when you need to do number 2, but it was still manageable.
We also hope that the room could have a slightly cooler lighting option in the future to make the ambiance even more cozy and relaxing.
Overall, these are just minor suggestions to make the experience even better, since we truly enjoyed our stay.
- Ed (10/5): Excellent - Hidden gem in Silang
- Ma.rachelle (5/5): -
- freddy (5/5): - Internet Netheid
Ontbijt
- Kim Irish (3/5): - none Not comfortable
- Jennifer (9/5): - The place is accessible to destinations we wanted to visit like the church Our Lady of Candelaria. We also got to eat at Balinsasayaw once again because it was just walking distance from Marius B and B. We also got to visit SM Dasmarinas and watched Call Me Mother. I was able to have a massage at Vior Massage, which is easily 5 minutes walk from our staycation.
This was our 2nd stay at Marius B and B. We went here 8 years ago. The rustic atmosphere of the place is quite relaxing and brings back many memories of the time we first went here.

- Isabelle (9/5): -
- Ben (10/5): Lekker uitgeslapen aangenaam verblijf!! - De gastvrijheid en de vriendelijkheid van al het personeel! En grote kamer, met douche met warm water!
- Javier (4/5): -
- Marie Joan (7/5): - Decent enough for the price. Booked the quadruple room. The CR wall/division was half open. I hope they install an exhaust fan because if someone uses the CR for po*p, we can smell everything.😬😬😬 Also it's too cold to take a shower if the air conditioning is turned on.
- Kathleen (1/5): -
- Charles John (10/5): - I like the place and room easy to get out to look for food, just a walking distance from grocery store and fast food chains. I dont like the aircon just a bit.
- Garcia (8/5): Very good -
- Analiza (6/5): Pleasant -
- Velasco (9/5): Superb -
- Maila (9/5): Overnight stay - Loved the vibe of the room. Spacious. Clean. Our stay would have been excellent except for one uninvited cockroach.
- Reychelle (7/5): Good - The coffee and accommodating staffs When we came the room is fine yet so many mosquitoes.
- Baritua (3/5): Poor - Ambience
- Garon (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (8/5): Nice experience - Friendly staff, good food, nice coffee. Interesting turtles.
- Yolanda (7/5): It was a nice stay with friendly staff! - The natural surroundings. The food and drink I had was exceptional! Insects that would come into the room. One guest was smoking and singing and talking loudly in the cafe and on the phone.
- Ma (10/5): Excellent - Value for money and staff is really accommodating.
The forest environment and rustic vibes of the room and cafe. None
- Darryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Niklas (10/5): Exceptional - It was one of the best stays we have had so far the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back next time we are in the Philippines
- Guzman (5/5): good enough to have a place sleep - area is peaceful, host is very responsive comfort room has no ventilation or exhaust fan.
- Mayeth (10/5): Exceptional - Short stay but super relaxing none
- Darryl (10/5): Exceptional - Always super friendly here. Location is awesome, it's 2 mins to everything but like a tropical Oasis.
And the burger is outstanding.
- Isabelle (10/5): Exceptional -

- Trisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trisha (9/5): Superb -
- Tarek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- John (7/5): Good - The location is accessible to the highway/transportation, shops, and restaurants. The ambience is cool mkst especially if you're a nature lover. The staff are helpful and friendly, especially to guest reuest. The first 2 nights aren't that comfortable, but we were transferred to another room, but of course, with an additional fee per day Our first 2 nights aren't that comfortable. Maybe because toilet has no shower and needs to heat water from the heater so you can have hot water. The water overflows outside everytime you take a bath.. Toilet bowl flushing is too slow, and need to fix some issue with it as dirts came out even you don't use it. I understand there could be mosquitoes outside because the place is surrounded by the plants but there's still mosquitoes inside the room which is not good though.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marian (8/5): Very good -
- Silvester (8/5): Very good -
- Booms08 (5/5): Christmas Eve with Family 2024 - I like that there is enough parking. I like that the rest rooms in the rooms are clean. It is easy to find in the map.
I like the tuna sandwich , the chicken sandwich and the pochero. The buffet of P1,350 was an overkill vs the food served. We paid P10,800 for 8 pax and you will see in the pic the buffet food.
I booked 4 rooms ( 1 room good for 5 pax, 1 room good for 2 pax , 1 room good for 4 pax and 1 room for solo)fully paid but only occupied 3 rooms only since 3 family members didn’t go. I was informed by the waitress in the morning that I would only get 4 breakfast for free and the rest would not. But, later on after I texted the owner, we were told that everybody will get a free breakfast. It is stipulated in Booking.com that breakfast is included. I dunno if it was the waitress who did not understand or Marius, the owner, who gave the instruction to the waitress that we will only get 4 plates . The place is bed and breakfast why wouldn’t they give us 6 plates? . Today is Christmas and I don’t really want to feel bad about what happened, but seriously I was disappointed.
- Charlyn (9/5): Superb -
- Wherville (8/5): Very good -
- Menerva (9/5): Superb - It's our 2nd time. Hospitable owner, Great food, specially their Tsokolate, my husband and i really like it. And Great Service. Nothing.
- Darryl (10/5): Exceptional - Marius is like a green oasis in the middle of town. The staff family live on site so their are young kids playing around and although you have your own private villa, it feels like you have been accepted into someone's home
- Dennis (5/5): Passable -
- Alice (5/5): Passable - - a lot of mosquito
- Jeffrey (9/5): Awesome place to stay and everything is just there for all you need… - It’s Safe, friendly staff and the owner Mr.Marius is humble and accommodating. And If you love nature this is for y’all… I didn’t and like it in a way that the place is kinda raw in nature, everywhere u can see are plants, trees and flowers like you’re in the forest/garden.
- Darryl (10/5): Super Friendly place where the owner lives on site. - Marius is a really friendly guy. These are simple, clean rooms in a really friendly environment.
- Carol (9/5): Marius of Silang - This time they have a bidet which I appreciate so much. I originally paid 1400 plus to booking .com but I change the date. After the changes, I was just charge 1300plus. I think I deserve to get the difference on my payment.
- Drewz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (8/5): A great choice for solo travellers looking for a quick getaway. - The place is just right for the price of the stay. It's in a very convenient location as well. You can easily go to it since it's near the highway but still within a quiet neighborhood so transportation is not much of an issue and at the same time, you get a quiet place to relax. It's near a Puregold grocery, there's Dominos Pizza nearby and other fast food chains and a Starbucks nearby. The room is okay for me. Both the room and the bed was big enough for one person. The CR is not for everyone though but for me, it's okay. Food is good for me, I think I was just longing for a bigger serving size for their breakfast selection. However, I highly suggest trying their Hot chocolate which was in my opinion, the best I've had so far. I hope there could be a more identified area for ordering in the cafe if staff won't approach you. I wanted to order breakfast during my first morning there but I couldn't identify where I could order nor there were staff readily nearby I could approach. On the 2nd day, I was able to order because the staff were more visible in the cafe.
- Jelly (8/5): We did get our sleep well after a long tiring wedding activity. Food is good but a bit pricey for silog meals - Surrounded by plants and vintage artworks. Some parts of the place needs maintenance. There are some tiny insects that can be seen on the nooks and crannies.
- Evangeline (3/5): If you are on a budget, still book elsewhere. This is not a good place especially if you have kids. - Location was good since it is very near the golf course. The accomodation itself. There were bugs, ants, and a lot of mosquitoes. I was scared that my son gets dengue since he has bites all over his legs. The front desk personnel was cold. We can’t even borrow a kettle for hot water.
- Ma (7/5): Good -
- Arianne (10/5): Exceptional - Rustic vibe
- Jhorie (9/5): Superb -
- Rufino (5/5): Passable -
- Rubie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maida (8/5): My sister & I, enjoyed our stay the owner Mr. Marius, his family & staff are all nice. - My sister & I, liked the quite place, cool ambiance and the food was great. This is just a suggestion put trash bag inside the trash can in the bathroom. If possible add additional daylight in a room and also spray mosquito repellent in the room.
- Mary (5/5): Great staff, amenities need a lot of improvement. - The staff were excellent. They were very attentive. For that alone I was happy to have found the place. The sheets, pillows smelled like they needed washing and sun drying, which should not be the case considering the heatwave we’re experiencing now. There were lots of ants, in the bathroom, on the nightstand. If I weren’t exhausted, I would’ve looked for another place.
- Cherrie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reginald (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nico (9/5): Superb -
- Alessandra (10/5): Exceptional - Location is good. Staff and sir Marius are friendly and attentive to our needs. Will absolutely stay here again. None
- Andrada (8/5): Smooth stay - We liked the plants inside the room.
We also liked the clean bathroom.
Great internet connection.
Lots of plants in the area. Tight gate entrance for cars.
Wall sockets need to be replaced.
The shower head needs to be replaced.
- Antonio (9/5): Superb -
- Dave (7/5): Our stay was okay just typical a place to stay to chill and avoid rush hours and traffic from mnl. - Owner was nice they let us go for the early check in since I came from the shift and need some sleep. The Place was center of the city a bit traffic, there are tons of Store (Mcdo/ KFC / Jollibee and 7eleven and some small stores). Staff are very accommodating. Place was rustic and great good for nature and Island vibe. Separate Restroom. Restroom must be a common room. There were no mirror inside the room. Room was spacious could have put some drawers or a huge table for some stuffs to be in place. Curfew o 11pm- 6am gates will be locked.
- Analyn (8/5): My Marius Exeprience - The place is very quiet and has a good ambience. Perfect to chill throughout the day and collect your thoughts.
The weather was great and other things you may need are easily accessible.
Plus the owner is great and approachable when needed. My kids enjoyed their stay while playing with the kids at the venue. No TV but wifi served its purpose though so all in all it was a great experience.
- Recca (8/5): It was convenient and comfortable stay. - Dinner meal is good. TV signal
- Jho (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (5/5): Passable - Nothing This place was so bad I can't even describe... Dirty, broken, dusty, no shower in the bathroom, the sink was leaking from the bottom (basically we couldn't even brush our teeth). We spent here the worst 2 nights of our whole trip around Asia.. not even cheap honestly, especially for the location! There is literally nothing in Silang
- Tolentino (10/5): Exceptional - The place is nice and quiet also the staffs are just there if u need any help.
- Dela (1/5): Horrible - Rude rip-off Everything rude and completely rip-off
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Relaxed atmosphere
- Lina (5/5): Passable -
- Gileena (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (3/5): Poor - The location The staff are not friendly and helpful; the rooms have open gaps below the door and in the wall where insects snd small animals can get through
- Jimenez (4/5): Disappointing -
- Alessandra (10/5): Friendly, helpful and dedicated staff. I’m not high maintenance so the facilities and rooms are all good for me. The roo - Cozy, rustic ambiance, very accessible and easy to get to None
