Guest Reviews

- Banu (9/5): Perfect getaway spot , like a hidden gem :) very close to downtown SMA - Anana Restaurant of the Lila Hotel has very reasonable prices

- Gay (10/5): Pleasant and enjoyable - Sorroundings Hotel check in and check out schedule
- Arianna (8/5): - Nothing
- Cynthia (9/5): Liked the facilities but the perhaps slightly underhanded Reception admin was very bad. - The kitchen staff was wonderful. The gardens were magical. Due to the language issue it was not made clear to me that it was a precise, precise 11:30 check-out with a monetary penalty if not heeded. I signed sheets of papers which were all in Spanish. Given this is San Miguel with a HUGE English community, I think the least they could do is provide this information in English. I actually commented that I didn't know all that I was agreeing to.
I was THE only guest. I had my suitcase all packed just inside the front door of my room; all my other belongings were with me at the baths. I put the Limpia (clean) sign on the exterior door to let the cleaners know it was OK to come into clean. I thought this was ok as the whole idea being there was to be in the Aquas Thermales. So when I went with the suitcase around 12- 12:30 to leave, I was told I had to pay an extra $800 pesos as the cleaners did not check me out by 11:30.
A Mexican friend joined me that morning so she spoke to the receptionist, trying to get him to not charge me. He supposedly spoke to his manager who refused and informed us that he would have to pay if I did not. It was blackmail really so I'm not happy and feel a bit taken. I think given their clientele, the least they can do is have the information in English.

- O5509DLrickw (10/5): Charming Hotel in a Park Setting - Only short time in Queretaro so took a day trip and one night in ths very nice hotel. On the small side but large and very clean rooms. Small restaurant on site open until 5 with sandwiches, chicken, chips, however good restaurants within 5 km. Excellent staff. Sits next to a beautiful park, Escondido, entrance included with hotel. Great walking paths with numerous pools, and also a spa. Would have stayed longer if we could.
- Rick (10/5): - Very nice hotel with large, clean rooms and excellent staff. Beautiful grounds with thermal pool and spa. Nice food and bar service until 5 pm, and several restaurants within driving distance. Sits next to a wonderful park with beautiful walking pathss.
- Colleen (7/5): Good - Location in Escondido park was very convenient to go early to the springs. Not enough towel racks, not enough electrical outlets.
- Alma de los Angeles Rios (4/5): - HABITACIONES MUY SENCILLAS, BAÑOS CON ACCESORIOS BARATOS, DECORACIÓN DE HABITACIÓN POBRE, SE CONVIVE CON GRUPOS DE PERSONAS QUE LLEGAN POR CAMIONES, RUIDOSOS,SIN TELÉFONO PARA COMUNICARSE A RECEPCIÓN, MUY PRETENCIOSO LLAMARLO BOUTIQUE, POCO PERSONAL. DESPUÉS DE LAS 18 HRS. NO HAY ALGUIEN QUE ATIENDA A LOS HUÉSPEDES. MUY CARO PARA LO QUE OFRECE.
- Jennifer (5/5): this place was way overpriced for what you get. I did it anyway to stay at the hot springs but I’m leaving after one ni - I liked that it was on the grounds of the hot springs and included hot springs in the price it’s old and run down. bed was not very comfortable, shower was hot but not a lot of water came out,
- Ernesto (6/5): Pleasant -
Orbitz nunca me falla.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I liked the fresh air and the warmth of the pools and hot pools but the only bad part is that I didn't get to stay too long to enjoy it all.
I did not like that our room was not available until 1 hour after our check in so it cut our hot pool time very short since it closed at 5PM and we got checked in till 4PM.
- Saad (8/5): - It would help if they had any kind of heating system in the rooms, they had extra blankets in the room, but will be nicer if they had heat. Rooms were kind a cold
- 974juliav (10/5): Beautiful get away - Very beautiful relaxing and intimate experience! The spa is so unique because of its hot springs pools! Definitely worth visiting while discovering Guanajuato state. Staff very attentive and speaks good English, very helpful! The gorgeous San Miguel city is just 15min drive away.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel - The only thing was that the showers had very little water coming out to shower. My husband also hurt himself by the jacuzzi in the hotel because there was very little lighting.
