Anna Theano (10/5): - Όλα ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχα! Ο χώρος του ξενοδοχείου, το δωμάτιο που μείναμε, η καθαριότητα, η ησυχία και η αισθητική ήταν εξαιρετικά. Μας άρεσε ιδιαίτερα που κάθε μέρα μας παρείχαν εμφιαλωμένα νερά. Η τοποθεσία μοναδική, με απίστευτη θέα και αίσθηση γαλήνης. Επίσης, μας εντυπωσίασε η ευγένεια και η εξυπηρέτηση του προσωπικού στο πρωινό — την πρώτη μέρα που κατεβήκαμε λίγο αργοπορημένοι (πήγαμε στις 11:05 ενώ το πρωινό τελείωνε 11) , μας εξυπηρέτησαν με χαμόγελο και ευγένεια. Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν ένα μικρό περιστατικό στο πρωινό: τη δεύτερη μέρα καθίσαμε σε τραπέζι για πέντε άτομα, ενώ υπήρχαν διαθέσιμα τραπέζια, και ο σερβιτόρος μας ζήτησε να αλλάξουμε θέση σε τραπέζι με ήλιο, κάτι που μας φάνηκε λίγο άβολο. Κατά τα άλλα, όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά.

OLIVIER (4/5): Decevant, surtour quand on veut nager le matin - Emplacement, renovation propre et elegante Le service , nul : pas de piscine avant 11h alors que l’hotel est vide et qu’il n’y a pas d’entretien, pas de piscine du tout pour moins de 8ans, pas de petit dej a l’exterieur en octobre, … clairement le personnel a autre chose a faire que d’écouter ses clients

KONSTANTINOS (10/5): - Πολύ ωραία η θέση, καταπληκτική θέα,πολύ κοντά στην Αρεοπολη, πας παντού...Τα δωμάτια υψηλής αισθητικής, άψογα διακοσμημένα, το κλιματιστικό τέλειο και αθόρυβο, τα στρώματα να μη θες να σηκωθείς...το πρωινό υπεροχο..με λίγα λόγια ένας μικρός παράδεισος...Συγχαρητήρια... François Perret (10/5): Une expérience rare et exceptionnelle - On est dans l'exceptionnel. Le rare. L'unique. Hors des sentiers battus,, 1km de piste pour arriver à l'hôtel dominant la mer, et c'est la magie. Une terrasse dans la chambre avec un jacuzzi dont on a profité largement. Le coucher de soleil le soir à 100 mètres au dessus de la mer. Une suite parfaite, superbement équipée, le personnel est professionnel, discret mais attentionné. Le service du petit déjeuner est d'une grande qualité, très personnalisé, c'est le coocooning parfait. Rien, mais il faut savoir que la mer est inaccessible, il vaut mieux être prévenu.

Spiros (9/5): ωραιο καταλυμμα αλλα με ελλειψεις στις υπηρεσιες - η τοποθεσια πολυ καλη ,το πρωινο μπορει να γινει καλυτερο και να σερβιρετε και σε μεγαλυτερο χωρο που υπηρχε αλλα δεν χρησιμοποιηθηκε αλλα νομιζω οτι υπηρχε γενικα ελλειψη προσωπικου,επισης δεν εξυπηρετουν σε room servis αν και γραφουν οτι το παρεχουν .... δεν μας αρεσε που το εστιατοριο του ξενοδοχειου παρεμενε εντελως κλειστο καθε Δευτερα και που τις μερες που λειτουργουσε ζηταγε την τελευταια παραγγελια εως τις 20,30 καθε βραδυ ,παραπολυ νωρις για καλοκαιρι ...δεν φαγαμε ποτε και ετσι φαγαμε 2 φορες στο διπλανο ξενοδοχειο και τα υπολοιπα βραδια αλλου ...αυτοι εχασαν....

Ίσως λίγες περισσότερες επιλογές στο πρωινό ( θα μπορούσε να έχει λιγότερες επιλογές με αυγά και να είχαν και κάτι άλλο)

Baudouin (10/5): Exceptionnel ! Vraiment exceptionnel. - Neuf suites spacieuses aménagées avec beaucoup de goût composent ce havre de paix aux vues fantastiques. Personnel discret, aussi gentil qu’efficace. Petit déjeuner vraiment excellent. Magnifique architecture, le site est très agréablement fleuri. Tout est vraiment parfait. Une réussite absolue. Nous reviendrons c’est certain. Rien, vraiment rien si ce n’est partir évidemment.

Very friendly and eager to please smiling senior and junior staff.🥰 Quite and relaxing surrounding. 10' drive to Lineni and Areopolis, the two main close "must visit" villages. Understaffed with all the consequences that this has to a package offered at this price tag. TV reception installation is poor. National and international channel broadcasting is very frequently interrupted.

Dimitri (10/5): One of the best stays ever - I have travelled to many places and have stayed at fine hotels yet this one stands out above the rest. The property looks beautiful in the photos, however reality is far better. On arrival what impresses is the grandiose entrance, the large and beautiful gardens and the wonderful reception building. The setting itself is magnificent, a vast property floating above the sea in a tranquil environment with world class architecture. The rooms impress with their size and height of ceiling. Most importantly the quality of construction material and decoration is above that of any 5 star hotel I have visited. This hotel was not built to rent but was built to the highest standards that few can afford for their private residences. The driving force behind this project seems to be not profit but the pursuit of perfection. As for the people and service, you instantly feel you are at home and you have know them for a long time. Simply perfect!!
Pedro (10/5): Perfect, luxurious stay with top staff - Bassa maina is one of the kind, with top facilities (pool with view, restaurant and lounging areas) and surroundings with a spacious and comfortable suite. But what makes Bassa Maina exquisite and wanting you to not leave forever this hotel is the staff - the team is professional, but warm; helpful and kind; and knowledgeable of the area. They will ensure you have the best experience in Mani. Thank you for everything.

Margaret (8/5): Gorgeous place and great views but not much else - Aesthetically amazing property, beautiful appointed with amazing views, the pool is also fabulous The chef was off sick during our stay, we were not told until an hour before we arrived, there was no alternative given for the restaurant being shut other than a list of recommended restaurants, the hotel is too far away from Limeni town to be driving to dinner every night. The staff that were there were lovely but they were clearly short of staff, you had to go hunting for someone to get a drink by the pool.

The Villas and rooms are so tasteful decorated. Quiet and peace…we love it here All the staff are wonderful but could have done without the grumpy waiter at the restaurant in the evening. He looked like he’d been begrudgingly brought in on his day off…he did this beautiful restaurant no favours.

Francis (10/5): An address not to be missed in the Peloponnese - The staff is friendly, yet professional, helpful and effective. Rooms are located in very nicely built separate houses, with stone walls, wooden floor, Italian shower, high beam supported ceiling, red tile roof, wonderful sea view. Everything has been thought to fit in the typical Mediterranean sea side greek landscape (although there is no direct access to the sea). Food is very good too and the staff strives to satisfy the client's specific requests. The only small improvement I would suggest is for a hotel of this standing to accept the Amex card for payment.

Constantin (9/5): Very much recommended. - Very good food. Many choices a la cart. Distance from the sea, and lack of a good beach in the area. But this is a characteristic of the Mani area.
