Amy (10/5): - Adorable cottage in a fantastic location! We were able to park right in front of the cottage , and it was less than a 10 minute drive to Provincetown. The walkway to the beach was wonderful to have and the added bonus of beach chairs and umbrellas there was much appreciated. Cottage was clean and had essential dishes for eating there if you wanted to.

Cia (10/5): - The whole pet friendly thing should be rethought. If you're staying in a room recently vacated by a pet, there are often allergans, pet damage...and then there's the inconsiderate pet owners who leave thete dogs in the room barking all day. Get a kennel for goodness sake.

Susan (6/5): - Good, quaint cottage with direct beach access. Right off of a busier main road but still has convenient parking for guests. Very close to Provincetown, which has much more to do than Truro in my opinion - if you’re just looking to relax by the beach there is no need to leave the property, but there is nothing easily walkable locally if you have kids or are traveling in groups. Ptown had a ton of public parking and was only a 10 minute drive, that was where we did most of our dinners and shopping after spending the day at the beach. While the property itself had minimal flaws and shortcomings, I have never dealt with staff and property management as rude and unaccommodating as they were here. Despite having contact information listed with multiple ways to reach them, you have to jump through hoops to get ahold of someone that will treat your concerns as insignificant and will dismiss you. Even Expedia agents were unable to reach anyone. This part of the experience was jarring. One of the higher ups at the Breakwater in PTown, a property linked to Truro Beach Cottages, had to apologize for the way our questions and concerns were addressed, and he unfortunately seemed unsurprised that we had been treated this way. While the vacation experience in itself was enjoyable, dealing with the argumentative and difficult staff left a bad taste in our mouths.

Sort (7/5): - I like the walk to the beach and short distance to Provincetown at Truro Beach Cottages. The place is clean and the bedrooms are nice and comfortable. I stayed in cottage 11, good for a family of five with three children. The bathroom is too small. It is very tight to shower and the bathroom window doesn’t open, no vent. The fridge didn’t work properly, water dripping from the top freezer into the bottom fridge.

Love the quiet hours at night. Love they are pet friendly too! Parking a little tight. Kitchen could use a few more items if you want to cook/eat in (e.g., strainer, grater, tupperware, better fry pan). Not much clothing storage- only 1 small dresser and nowhere to hang clothes.

They offered us another option. It was a nice cottage but it was across the road and between 2 garages. Not with rest of the ocean side cottages. Can’t trust them so won’t revisit. They did credit our dog fees but still not okay. Owner needs to honor reservation. Also the cottage shook when trucks drove by.

You were well supplied in the kitchen (had the basic dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, etc,) and bathroom (lots of towels, toilet paper, dryer, etc.). I would stay there again.

Loved the sitting area to watch the sunset and very much appreciated the walkway to the actual beach. Just lovely. A very peaceful area but close to areas with lots of things to do. Write up stated that there was a bedroom and pull out couch. That is not accurate, its a pull out chair in the kitchen. TV also in kitchen. A little awkward as I was traveling with a long time friend. Also, stated "steps from beach". I'm not complaining, it was lovely but for accuracy - a little farther than "a few steps". There was a walkway set down though, so not a challenging walk by any means. Please consider adding a bottle opening and xtra blanket to the supplies.

The only suggestion I’d have for the property manager would be to add another one or two towel hooks for the towels to dry. We would stay here again.

BENJAMIN (10/5): - We loved the location on Shore Road. The inside of the cottage was more than we expected, Very, VERY nice. A little too close to the Route 6 noise, but not unbearable. Have wanted to stay in a Shore Road cottage since I was a 16-year-old vacationing with my parents and now, at 74 I have realized my dream. Would stay here again, maybe on the "beach side" of the road.
Sam (8/5): Cute place to stay near Ptown! - Private beach access, I liked they provided beach chairs to take with you and had AC. Bed was comfy. Very quiet at night. The kitchen supplies were extremely limited and didn’t have key items like a cutting board or a strainer. It would’ve been nice to have some oil, salt/pepper, too. The inside itself needed some tlc, especially the bathroom which was peeling away.

Lynn (4/5): It was not exactly what we were anticipating based on the online listing. - Nothing was offered. The location was not exactly as described or advertised. It was not oceanfront. We were essentially on the main road with quite a walk to the beach down a path. The chairs in front did not offer an ocean view...just a view of the cottage across from us. The cottage was not free standing as advertised and we were connected to another unit. The wall in the bathroom next to the shower was open, broken, and crumbling with plaster on the floor. The fan in the bedroom did not work. It was not clear who could be contacted for assistance. The screen on the door was broken along with some slats on the window blinds.
Dina (10/5): - A treasure to say the least! Wake up and walk to the beach! Our cottage was impeccably clean and had everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay. CJ (maintenance person) was so helpful with questions. We will absolutely stay again, actually cannot wait!

Carey (10/5): Peace and tranquility - We stayed in cottage 6, super cute, two bedroom. A little tight in the 2-twin room but beds comfy and very clean. The outside was very nice. Great seating area near the room. The beach is about 2 foot ball fields walk but they have a nice fabric like path which really helped. Grills were nice. Staff very nice. Key access, need to go to keypad entrance. We did lose a key but think it was in the cabin when we left.
Barbara (8/5): I would recommend this for anyone who loves the cape and doesn’t mind small quarters. - Old fashioned kind of cottage setup. Pleasant people who say good morning. Three minute walk to gorgeous Cape Cod Bay. Everything was fresh and clean; felt new and fresh. Great hot shower. New stove and fridge with all the cooking and dining supplies needed. Having to park in front of the cottage some of the time. Felt a little tight but great for loading for unloading and loading up. The pull-out chair/bed was uncomfortable and worn— the screen door was old and dilapidated and closed too quickly. Daytime traffic on 6A is moderate but lots of speeders.

Gabriella (10/5): - Nicely updated cottage. Parking was tough but Cassinia was an amazing resource and was able to assist with a 2nd car...thank you! Location is wonderful, right on beach and close to many local spots.
John (6/5): Location on the beach is great, missing a lot of creature comforts for the price of the room. - Location is fantastic. Great beach access. Cottage and ammenites are sparse. Inside was a lack of seating and tables, we had a sofa and two shaky dining chairs. We had two guests come for dinner, we had two butter knives and 4 salad forks, two wine glasses and no place to sit. I moved the tiny table infront of the couch with the shaky chairs. They have grills but no tables outside, such a great spot but you can't eat outside. The pullout sofa had no sheets or blankets. I wouldnt mind these things if it was cheap but at almost $700 per night I expect more.

Elisabeth (9/5): Great stay on the beach for my dogs and I! - Great location, steps from the beach and the center of Provincetown and several other beaches can be reached within 10 minutes. Nice patio area with grills facing the beach and appreciate that it is dog friendly. Just minor things, the tv could be bigger and some more items provided in the cottage such as some coffee, salt/pepper.

Catherine (4/5): Overpriced shack in a decent location. - The beach, while full of seaweed, was pretty. It appeared much more updated in the photos with an area rug. In person, the shower area looked worn and was TINY. Windows were old and dirty. For the price, it was not up to par.
Nichole (6/5): - The other people in the cottage next to us were loud at night, and with a 16mo it was hard to put him to bed. Also the cottage was dirty, if we walked around bare foot, our feet would be black from the dirty floor, and there was white dog hair everywhere. Great view of the beach.
Rebecca (10/5): Extremely pleasant, loved everything, will return - I’ve stayed in a lot of beachfront cottages, and this was by far the nicest. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful walk to the beach. Each cottage was equipped with high-end appliances and everything you could need for cooking, grilling, and just being comfortable in general. The only downside is the parking is a little difficult. We were in the cottage closest to the beach so in order to get out of the driveway, we had to back up the whole way to the street and there were cars on both sides that we had to get around

Janice (9/5): Comfortable small cottage and a nice short walk to the beach. - The location was great. The cottage was very neat and clean. The beds and towels were nice. The light over the sink didn’t work. The outlet in the bathroom was not attached well to the well.
