I absolutely loved the welcome tray of goodies with a hand-written note. During my stay, a floral rose petal design was left on the bed - it was such a nice touch of opulence. The buffet breakfast was divine! The attendants were so attentive to your requests plus they were always around to make sure that your dining experience was good. If I had a complaint, it would have to be the cheap bed slippers. Those slippers are not the Marriott way. Everything else was absolutely beyond good.

- DalviSayali (2/5): Pathetic Experience even before arrival! - I am compelled to put the review because I am trying to connect with somebody from the hotel for my reservations made for 03 rooms and 05 nights booked through MMT and I understand its not refundable booking and as mentioned on the call with hotel team that I do not want refund but if I can get stay adjusted to other dates which is not impossible. I had called 3-4 times and all the time i was assured that i will receive call back which i didn't. Stay cost is almost INR 75-80,000 which is not small amount. Renaissance being such brand hotel and cannot do follow-up call is a Shame. I do not wish to take names on online portal to whom i connected but Hotel Management should know how their guests are treated when prepaid reservation reservations are made & later when they need any help they are neglected. - Ralph (8/5): A restful stay at a quality hotel - The room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the racecourse. The bed was large and aircon efficient. We slept well! Staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. Lounge access was a good bonus. There are renovation works around the hotel which wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t convenient to use the swimming pool whilst we were there. Drinks were very expensive.

The room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. We requested an extra bed ( stayed with 3 adults) which was very comfortable. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice even if you wanted something else they would get it for you. We had an early checkout and really appreciated the breakfast package they prepared for us. Top-notch staff! nothing

We ordered food from outside and the staff was so kind and generous to deliver it to the door instantly. There are some broken tiles in the pool. Would be great if they're taken care of.
- jishap2014 (10/5): Had an amazing stay! - I stayed four days and four nights at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course and had a lovely experience. The rooms were comfortable, service was service warm and efficient, and the hotel itself is conveniently located. Munna, Dona, Anjali and Vishal especially showed outstanding hospitality. The attendant at the reception bar in the evenings, I forget her name, went above and beyond to do her part in making our stay memorable. Not only did she do an amazing job on suggesting a drink, she also got me a hot water and some honey when she noticed me coughing uncontrollably. Didn’t even have to ask for it… and it’s these little things that make an ordinary experience extraordinary. The only suggestion we’ve got is a more eclectic breakfast spread. All through the four days we were there, the breakfast buffet was the same, and a little variety would be appreciated. Other than that, our stay was extremely satisfying. Surely had a huge role to play in making our trip to Bangalore one to remember.

- Smunyasa (10/5): Excellent Room Service and Restaurant - I stayed at the Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel for four days in December 2025, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The restaurant staff were exceptionally warm, courteous, and attentive. The food was consistently good, and service was excellent. A special mention to RITWIKA, FAIZ, and TEJASWINI for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. All requests were handled promptly and efficiently, which made the stay very comfortable. Laundry service was prompt and excellent. The guest relations desk also deserves special appreciation. The team was welcoming, clear in communication, and always ready to assist. Special thanks to NITISH from guest relations for exemplary service and support throughout my stay. Overall, a highly pleasant and well-managed hotel experience. I would gladly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

Attended the wedding of Krishna and Anamika, which was arranged magnificently by the hotel. In particular, I was so impressed with the services of Aparna, Hitaishi and of course Salman, who was responsible for the best Masala tea, ever! Thank you Renaissance for the wonderful memories made that I will cherish forever.

- CKV2050 (10/5): Great stay opposite to race course Bengaluru. - The hotel is located in a fantastic place right opposite to race course. If you get a vantage room, you will get to see the beautiful race course. Great view of horse training, a early morning delight. Food is fabulous. Lounge access available with good spread of liquor and snacks. Nice clean rooms. Better to choose higher floors. Service is awesome. House keeping team pamper you with services periodically.
- Sugiyama (7/5): Mixed feelings about how staff is so eager to be appreciated by guests. - Breakfast selection is good, though it could offer more variety in types of cuisine (Mostly local and a few Chinese dishes. ) Coffee can be improved. I had trouble opening the tops of glass bottles of complementary water in the guest room. The metal thing did not disengage, and the whole thing kept turning, without opening. Discussed this in a casual chat with Sujata at breakfast. To my surprise, 5 minutes after returning to my room, the housekeeping brought 6 plastic bottles of water. The attentiveness to and speed with which to solve a guests's problem should be laudable. Also to be mentioned is that I got a deal to have 4 items of free laundery for each night's stay. This is really good. Twice during my 5-day stay, I received phone calls from guest relations. Once during a meeting where I was charing. Not being used to receiving a call from the hotel I stay in during a business trip, I figured it was some kind of emergency. It turned out that someone was just calling me to ask "how's your stay? Is there any problem?" I told her (forgot to ask for her name) that she was the problem. I was quite upset. The guest's phone number is a personal information, which should be kept secure by the Management, and not to be available for staff to gain "points" for being "nice" to guests. It is a breach of trust between the guest and the hotel. And why during the day, when it is easily imaginable that these guests are there to do business and they are woking during the day (and beyond)? Intrusion to our privacy, and I have never had this upsetting experience with any other hotel in my 35 years of overseas travelling (mostly business). This should stop immediately. Text messages, maybe. But not phone calls! Another instance of staff overzealous about getting guest's recognition. On my first breakfast, a waitress asked me to fill in a customer satisfaction survey. I gave many 8s and one or two 7s out of 10. She came after me as I was leaving, saying basically only 9 or 10 are acceptable! I wonder how effective this survey is to the Management. 8/10 is good! But still there is a room for improvement. If you receive all 10s, that means the guest is not seriously cooperating with the evaluation of services on behalf of the Management. Here again I saw a hedden agenda on the minds of staff that if they get commended by guests, maybe they get promoted or get a bonus. It was uncomfortable because it was too apparent.

Most importantly, they listened to and understood my requirements only to effectively make them available. Murshana and Intoni at the club lounge were extremely hospitable. On their toes with a cheerful disposition. They took care of all the requests with a smile. The ambience was good for a quiet evening. Sujatha assisted well on the breakfast table. In fact, she was endeavouring to make all guests present comfortable with a smile and a pleasant conversation. She was able to deliver what guests were requesting for. The spread for breakfast was decent and the food was tasty. Overall, very good experiences during the one night stay. Extremely satisfied and looking forward to returning soon for more memorable experiences. Thank you so much!
