- Steve (6/5): - This place is a bit rough around the edges. The downstairs entrance attracts homeless people looking for shelter. It needs a permanent employee to stay there near the elevators. Also, my room was technically cleaned but they didn't wipe the dirty counters, didn't vacuum the floors, and didn't replace the paper coffee cups for the following morning. Definitely not worth the price. Stay across the street at the Courtyard.

Also, although the room I booked claimed a "City View", it looked out into an alley which included a direct view of an unhomed individual. Location was fine. The additional breakfast offered for $15 was good.

- Eric (8/5): Just an Okay Stay - Nice property. We upgraded to a “city view” room and were originally put on the second floor with a view of a tree top. We were given a room on the sixth floor that was better. You will have to pay to park at this property. Twenty Five dollars for anything over twelve hours, and no in and out privileges. The hallways smelled of Marijuana and the carpet was coming up in several places outside of our room. The room was clean bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Be prepared to meet some sketchy characters outside that were wandering around later in the evening. No visible security on the first floor. You will need a room key to get in the doors after 11pm and all times to get to the floors with a room.

If you're into Anthrocon, this hotel is perfect. - This hotel is a perfect area for convention stays, it's next to the convention and it has excellent service and quality, breakfast has a unique serving but it is good quality. Even a four person room could hold up six people if you really tried, it's roomy enough for it, and the bathrooms are of decent quality. Affordable! The breakfast options were limited to gourmet foods that didn't have a lot of variety, and it is a bit pricey for what you get ($15 per person per day), even as a bouffet style. Thankfully there is a cafe at the ground level on the corner of the hotel where you can get a more fulfilling breakfast.

The only complaint is that the bathroom door does not have a lock (sliding frosted glass door), the shower drain clogged extremely easily, and the shower door kept sliding open so water got everywhere.

- Jamie (4/5): I would have expected a better experience for the cost of this hotel. - We felt safe walking in this area. Parking, loading zone, linens and communication. We ended up needing to get a rental car. There are only two parking bays which looks like the back of hotel where you pull into to unload bags. Check in was on the top floor then back down for luggage. There is no hotel parking. There is a lot for another business across road. It is $25/day and had hourly rates. However, the price can go up if there is an event. I tried to cancel the room once we need to add a rental car to our trip and the hotel did not reach back out and it was no refundable. Only one set for coffee in the room. There were holes in our duvet cover. The toilet is square and the seat ring not connected correctly or worn. It was always sliding off the side making it awkward and a balancing task. Our room faced another building across an alley and looked into other windows. Made is uncomfortable to have even the sheer curtains pulled in day time.

So took me a minute to figure out where to go. Lobby/check in on seventh floor greeted with a warm smile. Room clean with nice bathroom, large counter space for travel toiletries. No hotel parking but public lot across the street for $24/24 hours.

Very walkable with lots of food options (especially walking north). Try to get a room facing west so you have a view. The rooms on the other side of the building face an alley way with office windows so it will be dark. The bar upstairs has great views and on a warm evening is a lovely place to be.

- jkweebs (10/5): Really nice Pittsburgh Hotel - This is a really nice downtown hotel in Pittsburgh. The area around the hotels has lots of things to do within walking distance. The hotel itself is very clean and modern. The rooms are surprisingly quiet with all the traffic and the train line close by. The meeting rooms were big enough for our 16-person team and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar is well stocked with good views. Overall, a really nice hotel with a twist, when you arrive, you have to go up the elevator to get to the lobby.

- Kelsey (7/5): Great location for an evening out! - Spectacular location! Modern interior. Overall a nice stay, however the floors in the room looked like they had not been cleaned from the previous guest and there was some type of syrup on the bathroom light switch.

- Brandi (5/5): Place was decent. - Liked the location. Didn't like the "pay to park". Didn't feel safe w/ lobby on 7th floor. Didn't feel safe even w/ door locking at 11 p.m. as anyone can still come in building, wait for someone to use their key and get off and have access to floors.

- Chris (10/5): The AC is an Ace! - The AC is a beautiful and well maintained hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. It was quiet and comfortable and I loved the walk-in shower. Only thing to be aware of is there is no parking officially at the hotel. Most people, if they can’t find a street spot in the cultural district or strip district, will have to use the paid public lot across the street.

- Matthew (10/5): Nice! - Excellent! Parking is easy. The DLCC is across the street. The Terminal (yummy food) is just down the street. The hotel is clean. Mostly quiet, you can hear others as they walk by. Rooms are small but look and feel nice. I'd happily stay again.

- Jennifer (7/5): It was OK for a two day stay, but probably won’t return - Location was great, staff was very nice. The bathrooms were not as clean as I would’ve preferred. There was mold in the corners of the glass door and rust on the hardware. Also, there was a dried up pee stain on the toilet seat, was definitely not clean thoroughly. The trash bins were literally holding on by one string. Even the door handle and lock for the room were wiggling, and honestly did not feel safe.

- Brandon (6/5): - Hotel is clean and in a nice spot. However, the breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had. $15 for a “buffet”which had extremely poor options and nothing was refilled from the food to the drinks. Everything else was good but the breakfast was a total rip off!
