This is one of the newer hotels in the area—and it shows. Everything feels fresh, modern, and incredibly well done. Huge shoutout to Eric and the entire team—their hospitality was next level. Welcoming, attentive, and they made the whole experience seamless. It was so impressive that I released a short video through OnFoot LLC showcasing the hotel—the atmosphere, quality, and overall vibe really stand out. Highly recommend if you want a top-tier stay in Steamboat Springs.

stevenrN499OZ (10/5): An Unbelievable Find!!! - We recently stayed at the Homewood Suites Steamboat 2/21-2/27. The entire hotel, facilities and room were beautiful and immaculate! It felt brand new. The entire staff including: Eric (General Manager), Gabby ( Front Desk), Eric (Front Desk) and Jun (Front Desk) went above and beyond to make our stay Spectacular! The hotel is literally a 5-minute shuttle to the Base Village and gondola. The buses are free and run every 15 min round-trip on time. It is in a perfect location with plenty of parking and a 4-minute ride into downtown. It was our first time visiting Steamboat and we will definitely be back staying at Homewood Suites! I even had the opportunity to meet the owner and his wife as it is a family business. They could not have been any nicer and it is more than obvious that they take extreme pride in their hotel!

Close to the base, comfortable and modern accommodations, great hot breakfast (kids loved making their own waffles), nice and helpful staff. Staying on the back side of the property gave us gorgeous views of the mountain to wake up to each morning. The shuttle service worked really well. We also had a rental car and really appreciated the free parking.
Robert (7/5): Good hotel but careful where you park. - Checkin was good, rooms very comfortable and good size. Breakfast ok The parking area is not well maintained. I parked late night on a slightly sloped down spot and in the morning i could not get the car out because of ice. The receptionist just shrugged and said no tools available and the snow maintenance contractor comes late. I had to ask some guests to help me push the car out.

802olgag (4/5): Not recommended. - Do not book this hotel neither directly nor through a third party. After making a reservation on hotels/com my son got an appendectomy. Hotels/com was willing to issue a full refund but could not get permission from the Homewood Suites. The front desk employee told me "then don't make a reservation through a third party next time!". After I told her she was being rude, she told me she was not and she was "just telling me what not to do". The GM first said he'd issue the refund "as a courtesy" but later reneged and said they would try to "resell" the room first. There was no snow in Steamboat and they had a lot of cancellations, it was clear they would not issue a refund or try to resell anything. In the end we had to go even after the surgery as we did not want to just waste the money and the hotel did not care a single bit. Boy, did we regret it: breakfast is not worth even considering. Half of the 4 options were missing and no plates available. After I asked the kitchen staff to refill and bring the plates they smarted off and said they were "working on it", afterwards casting a revengeful side-eye at me every now and then. The rooms were OK but we could not sleep because a family of neighbors were very loud and the walls between the rooms very thin - we only slept from 1 am to 5 pm - the only quiet time we could get from the noise. Won't be back and do not recommend. Generic chain hotel that's greedy for your money and won't care even if you had a legitimate cancellation reason that would be supported by a doctor's note.

The room was spacious with a good-sized kitchen, making our stay very comfortable. The location is very convenient to the ski resort, and the free shuttle bus was a great bonus. While the pool water was a bit cold, the hot tub was excellent and relaxing. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return. Thank you for the stay!

Erik (9/5): Very nice place to stay! - Updated, newer hotel. Clean! They upgraded us to a suite (not sure why), but it was 2 rooms with full kitchen and huge bathroom! Nothing! Other than they were out of French vanilla creamer for my morning coffee, so had to go elsewhere.
Daydream492792 (10/5): As good as it gets in Steamboat Springs!! - This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel, and it was as good as the first. It was great to see that they have kept it in tip top shape so that it looks as new as it did when we first stayed there shortly after it first opened. Our room was spacious with a fantastic view, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We drove in from Denver so had a car, but those without transportation of their own can catch a free public bus right outside the hotel that runs every 30 minutes or so to downtown Steamboat! With a tasty free breakfast, a large spacious suite with a full kitchen, and handy free public transportation, we could actually live at this place! It will be our go-to hotel every time we're in Steamboat!

Maranda (9/5): - The hotel was clean, and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The front desk allowed us to check in a couple hours early. Housekeeping did a great job tidying up each day. The only issue was that a construction crew was staying there,, and parked their huge work trucks in more than one parking place each. Sometimes this created parking issues if returning later in the evening.

Michelle (8/5): - Location, hotel, and room was great! Very clean and modern. Close to everything, but away enough for a peaceful, relaxing experience. I will say the free breakfast service was embarrassing. Many customers did more waiting than eating. Took about 30 minutes for scrambled eggs to be refilled, waffle mix took about 20 minutes, and the list goes on. Too many items out of stock. There were workers that kept walking around the buffet area, but not refilling the food. I couldn't tell what they were there for. Also, we kept asking them how much longer of a wait and none of them spoke English to communicate to us. They may need to hire more cooks/chefs to keep up with the demands. We ended up deciding to eat elsewhere.

113rickr (10/5): Steamboat Springs' best hotel experience, location and management team. - I've traveled extensively over the past 25 years for work and pleasure, almost continuously. And, when you are fortunate enough to encounter exceptional service across of dimension of service, it's important to remember that "thank you" doesn't get shared nearly enough. Initially greeted and served by Gaby during check-in, I was treated with professionalism, friendliness and honest to goodness "care". It was real and authentic kindness and efficiency all wrapped into a natural affinity for the public. Please share our appreciation of Gaby's effort. She's a fantastic ambassador for your hotel and your brand. The hotel itself is immaculate by every measure and reflects the intent of ownership and management to ensure a seamless, enjoyable time while staying here in this beautiful enviornment. The room appeared brand new despite have a few years of use. We had only intened on staying for one day, but, after spending some time hiking in the magnificent mountains and valley's of Steamboat Springs, we decided to expend our stay. Upon returning to the hotel, the manager, Eric, had taken over for Gaby. Wow! This gentleman is the quintessential model for hotel and recreation management. Our request required him to go to significant extra effort to arrange for staying in the same room, which, unfortuately was already committed for the following day. Eric told us he would do his best to accomodate this last minute request. Later that afternoon, Eric advised us that all was taken care of, and that all involved were happy and statisfied. My wife and I couldn't be more appreciative of this superlative level of committment to guest services. Bottom line....this place rocks! If you're considering a trip to Colorado, take my advice....visit Steamboat Springs and stay at Homewood Suites. Every aspect of your stay with exceed your expectations!
RoadWarrierPlusDog (10/5): Perfect Stay - The Homewood Suites Steamboat Springs is exceptional. The hotel, condition, decor, rooms - everything was perfect. The location is nice because it's directly across the street from the Yampa River Core trail - perfect for dog walks. Best of all though were the people who work at the hotel - especially Erik at the front desk. I highly recommend this hotel.

U7884FBirinap (10/5): Clean, Comfortable, and Welcoming - We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Steamboat Springs. Our suite was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a full kitchenette that made it easy to feel at home. The beds were cozy, and we enjoyed waking up to beautiful mountain views. The complimentary breakfast was a great start to each day, with plenty of options and friendly staff keeping everything stocked. The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after exploring Steamboat, and the fitness room was a nice bonus. We also appreciated the convenient location — just a short drive or shuttle ride to the slopes and close to downtown. Most importantly, the staff made our stay special. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for families or couples visiting Steamboat. We’d definitely stay here again!

tonkabayguy (8/5): Nice hotel to stay which is close to downtown - Our room was a large room with 2 queen beds. It had a complete kitchen with a 2 burner stove, microwave, frig and even a dishwasher. This is not considered a extened stay type of hotel so I found this kinda unusual. Staff were great. The free breakfast was good but not the best I've had. NOTE: the floor of the shower stall was super slippery. You'll have to lay a towel in the stall to avoid a fall.

Kimberley (10/5): - Here for a wedding. Stayed Weds - Sun. The check in was easy and was able to accommodate an early check in & extended check out, an hour on each side. Everyone at the front desk was delightful and lovely to work with. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed. A thought recommendation for future improvements; hand soap in matching pump dispenser at the bathroom sink. (The line of products provided are fabulous!) and a streaming tv.
