Buen desayuno. Algo complicado moverse por el sendero con tantas plantas. La habitación era en un piso superior, algo complicado puede ser para una persona mayor que lleve maleta.

The staff was friendly and helpful. A delicious homemade breakfast of fruit, eggs, bread, and coffee/tea was served. There was really nothing I didn't like.

Nuestra habitación con un balcon con vista hermosa. Desayuno muy rico y tradicional y me gusto que en los 2 dias que estuvimos, el desayuno fue diferente, adicional la ubicación excelente ya que podiamos caminr hacia todos los lugares del pueblo. - Mary (7/5): I'll return to use the same accommodations. - The garden is especially wonderful. The breakfast is healthy and good quality. The staff/owners were most helpful. The sheets/bed were comfortable. There are no screens on the windows and it can get too warm in the room, so if we open the windows we risk bugs getting in. Their airport shuttle is over-priced compared to other drivers we found in town.

Loved the hammocks and yummy breakfast Not specific to this hotel but area is Very humid. Nothing dries. There is no heating or cooling in the rooms so everything got damp.

- Sarah (8/5): Een rustig paradijsje - De tuin is echt prachtig. Een paradijsje vol met vogels. Het is een oase van rust. De gastvrouw is super lief en behulpzaam. Er hangt een fijne en gezellige sfeer. De kamer is vrij vochtig, dat is natuurlijk ook niet gek in het cloudforest. Maar goed om er rekening mee te houden. Ook is het best gehorig, maar in de avond is het helemaal stil en hoor je alleen de krekels.

It was in a location that was close to town and we were able to walk to many restaurants and activities. The view from our room was just beautiful!

- Kevin (10/5): Unbelievable, 10/10! - Late October 2025 - low season - Tatiana is the most accommodating host we have ever had, ever. She dropped everything to pack us breakfast the next day even though we asked outside of the request window, she also upgraded us to a nicer room we could not afford for our whole stay of 6 days. She also speaks perfect English. She also recommended "Jardin de La Mariposa" for a butterfly sanctuary (of the 3 available in Mindo) and it was one of the highlights as you can see them hatch in real time!! Other sanctuaries only show videos. - The Cabanas are located in a small plot of land that has its own garden, and it's beautiful and you can see tons of birds early in the morning from your deck, more then some tours 😅 If you're wondering how nice the garden is, they literally have people come and pay $4 just to get a tour of it! - Very clean, dining area is large and washrooms are great! I prefer the ones at the dining area because they have a urinal. Free water is provided during daytime hours and the kitchen is locked at night so make sure you get water if you're leaving early the next day. - WIFI IS ROCKET FAST in the cabins! And 4+ outlets! - Close to the city center and very quiet at night, you fall asleep to peaceful forest noises and very active birds in the morning. We saw hummingbirds, possums, those little beaver rat things, and a whole host of colourful birds. - Very safe and secure - beds were comfortable and shower was hot with good flow 24/7 - breakfast was great, see pictures. Large piece of fruit, 1 toasted bun, marmalade, butter, coffee/juice, 2 eggs. All cooked to order. - toilets had no sewage smell and had good pressure Not so much complaints but good to knows: 1. The two story bungalows are attached to the 2 bed Cabanas, there is very little to no sound proofing, so be prepared for that, they are not detached. 2. The humidity is so high in Mindo (95-98%) that your clothes will NEVER dry if not exposed to direct sunlight. Wish they had a public laundry line in direct sunlight to combat this as it rains often! They will give you new towels if requested free of charge though. 3. - constance (10/5): - This is a unique hotel. Think more like a rental cabin in a usa national park. This is not a cookie cutter us holiday inn room. These are little home built cabins in a gorgeous tropical orchid garden. The beds are clean and comfortable, the shower water is hot and the electric outlets work fine to charge your devices. Wireless is great. Tatiana greeted us warmly and gave us our choice of 3 rooms since it was important to us to have a private bathroom and privacy. We woke to the sounds of birds outside our house. The breakfast is made to order. The hotel is easy walking to the center of Mindo and all its shops and restaurants. This hotel is not handicap accessible as there are stone paths to walk. We loved staying here and would stay here again. Mindo has tried to make itself extremely safe and friendly for tourists. It does help to be able to speak some Spanish.

- C.Pl. (10/5): - Alles. Die Zimmer, das Frühstück. Der wunderschöne Garten. Die Freundlichkeit. Es wird sich perfekt um die Gäste gekümmert. Auch die Vogelbeobachtung, die wir dort gebucht haben, war sehr gut. Wir würden immer wieder gerne zurück kommen.

- Annaelle (10/5): - Quel endroit incroyable. La cabane était très bien aménagée. J'ai rarement eu une chambre aussi confortable en Amérique du sud. C'est super bien entrenue avec des plantes partout. Le petit déjeuné était super et il y avait une cuisine très bien équipée à la disposition des clients. Le personnel était vraiment gentil et nous ont aidés à planifier tout notre séjour avec les activités disponibles. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.
- pia (9/5): Sehr gut - Das Hotel liegt hinter dem Sportplatz in einer Seitenstraße. Hat bewachten Parkplatz. Der Garten ist mega schön, wie im Dchungel. Die Cabanas sind geräumig und sehr gut eingerichtet. Das Bad ist groß und mit sehr heißem Wasser Zu Fuß erreicht man die Hauptstraße in ca. 5 Minuten wo alle Geschäfte und Restaurants befinden.

Excelente ubicación y Alicia es encantadora. Un buen lugar para quedarse en Mindo. Todo me gustó
