• NARANDA (7/5): It was a pleasant stay overall. - The hotel has a beautiful historic style and feels very unique. The swimming pool needs better cleaning. There was a lot of dirt and bird droppings at the bottom of the pool and around some corners of the pool area. We informed the staff about it, but I don’t think it was cleaned properly, as some dirt was still left afterward.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and both the property and the rooms are stunningly decorated. The room's soundproofing was quite poor. We could clearly hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms while inside our room.

• Frans (9/5): Prima verblijf - Mooi hotel in oude stijl, vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamers, uitstekende bedden, goed bereikbaar, goed uitgebreid ontbijt in een fijn restaurant in oude stijl met veel hout. Zwembad niet al te groot, maar zag er mooi uit met ligbedden deels in water. Leuk barretje als vervanger voor de biertuin, welke er in 2024 nog was. Dit was mijn 2e verblijf en zal er zeker weer terugkomen als we in de buurt zijn. De badkuip, wastafel en douche in de kamer, slechts gescheiden door een gordijn. WC was wel apart, maar bereikbaar door de douche (Grand Deluxe Kamer). Ik geef de voorkeur aan een gesloten badkamer (zoals ik vorig jaar in dit hotel had), maar dat is een persoonlijke smaak en er zullen genoeg mensen zijn, die het wel fijn vinden..

The staff and manager are a credit to this wonderful hotel. The hotel is also a museum and the manager very kindly gave us a tour, explaining all about Thai history and craftsmanship. We stayed for 9 nights and could’ve stayed forever, it really is a special place. There is nothing whatsoever to dislike about Shinnabura Hotel

• JORDAN (6/5): Nice looking place to stay, but not my style.. - Nice place, old historic look inside & out. Beds are super comfortable. Staff are hospitable and helpful. The hotel has their own van which you can organise to take you to places like Airport and back for 500 BHT per trip (AUD $25). The Security guy was great, kind and helpful. 1. The BATHROOM: - there are no shelfs or draws to place your stuff/toiletries. - there are no hooks to hang your towels - the shower curtains were old and had rust marks and mould on them - some bathrooms dont have an actual shower and you need to shower inside the small bath which is very uncomfortable and the water just goes everywhere all over the bathroom and all around the bath tub! - the shower head is old and has low water pressure - the shower drain seemed blocked and the water would build up 2. Swimming pool is small 3. Lots of mosquitoes, some inside the room and a lot more outside 4. Small food buffet 5. Parking: Limited parking and you have to park on this gravel dusty area off the property. 6. The gym facilities are very poor 7. It is not very convenient hotel for old people with disabilities or for people who have trouble walking. There are too many stairs and steps 8. Not a very convenient location, except for a petrol station close buy. 9. Every night there is loud music noise from singing due to a cafe/club bar near by until midnight or later. 10. Requested higher level, got the ground floor instead.

Food was delicious and authentic. The gym is in need of maintenance. If you know how to exercise, then you can work out with the limited equipment. Les draps sont propres mais en dessous un surmatelas en duvet taché ainsi qu’un matelas plein de saletés. 2) La salle de bain est spacieuse mais toutes tuyauteries sont fragiles et le rideau de douche risque de tomber à tout moment de son socle en porte à faux. 3)La piscine est belle mais très peu d’espace pour s’y installer. Le plancher de la terrasse de la piscine est à refaire car le bois a pourri et les planches se décollent/cassent. 4) Hôtel très loin du centre à pied. En résumé bel hôtel avec beaucoup de potentiel mais très peu entretenu.

Het bed is een stuk breder dan het lang is, wel erg comfortabel. Her en der is wat achterstallig onderhoud zichtbaar, hotel ligt niet op loopafstand van het centrum.

• MARIA ELENA (10/5): Hotel con encanto y muy agradable con grandes habitaciones y entorno muy bonito - Buen desayuno, habitación muy amplia y cómoda con un entorno muy bonito. No hay sala de trabajo. En el baño, la ducha al aire está en medio y se moja el suelo y es incómodo pasar luego.

Le buffet et les plats proposés au restaurant sont vraiment vraiment très bon. Assez bien situé, Personnel souriant et professionnel. Le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas hyper bon. Nous avons trouvé que la propreté de la chambre notamment sous le lit et sous les rideaux était clairement à revoir. J’ai même retrouvé un déchet sous un rideau. Pour ce prix là on attend que ce soit nickel du sol au plafond. La piscine est vraiment belle mais trop petite et NON ENTRETENUE, c'est une HONTE. Il n’y a pas d’endroit pour se poser près de la piscine et ce coin extérieur est littéralement envahi de pigeons. Il y a des fientes partout au bord de l’eau, de la terre au fond de la piscine...Bref Enfin, il manque cruellement d’un jardin aussi petit soit-il pour se poser, lire un livre etc. PS : nous avions demandé un repas non épicé, les plats étaient presque immangeable le premier soir. Pensez à bien insister auprès du personnel en signifiant que non épicé signifie non épicé DU TOUT.

Loved the little paths and bridges over fish ponds to the rooms and sitting by the pool at night. The deck near the pool needed a bit of repair, especially as it’s a main walkway - but a minor complaint. Would stay again
