La suite è spaziosa e ben curata, ma presenta alcune carenze pratiche che hanno influito sull’esperienza complessiva. In particolare, nella doccia manca un portaoggetti, il che costringe a poggiare shampoo e sapone a terra — una scomodità non da poco in una struttura di questo livello. Inoltre, ci sono pochi appendini per gli asciugamani, rendendo difficile gestire quelli già usati o bagnati. Dettagli piccoli, ma importanti quando si parla di comfort. Un paio di accorgimenti renderebbero il soggiorno decisamente più funzionale.

• Laura (10/5): - Beautiful property and location. The hosts were responsive and very helpful. It was like staying in a renovated grand home from the 1700s. Exceptionally clean and very close to the central part of old town. We walked to restaurants, museums, sights, and the coast.
• Christiane (9/5): Zentral und zum Wohlfühlen - Geräumiges, sehr nett eingerichtetes helles Zimmer in einem wunderschönen alten Gebäude. Sehr netter Kontakt zu den Eigentümern. Checkin und Checkout sind top organisiert. Sehr zentral gelegen, fußläufig zu vielen tollen Restaurants. Bewachtes Parken ist ganz in der Nähe möglich.

• Nadja (10/5): Wunderschönes Zimmer im Herzen von Catania - Perfekte Lage und nur ca 5 Gehminuten zum Piazza del Duomo. Wunderschöner kleiner Balkon, super bequeme Betten. Sanitäranlagen waren äußerst sauber, ein kleiner Kühlschrank war auch im Zimmer mit 2 Flaschen Wasser zur freien Entnahme. Der Kontakt war äußerst reibungslos per Whatsapp (englisch oder italienisch Kenntnisse von Vorteil). Die Zimmer waren allerdings erst später als zur online angegeben Zeitspanne fertig – für uns war das kein Problem, da wir einfach gleich nach Ankunft einen Tag am Strand (mit dem Auto) eingelegt haben. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind, wenn man nur im Zentrum zu tun hat, nicht notwendig. Sollte man an den Strand wollen wäre ein Auto schon praktisch (bzw. gäbe es auch ein Busterminal gleich in der Nähe von der Unterkunft) Wir kommen gerne wieder her!
• Ana (5/5): - A localização e o quão espaçoso o quarto era. Famílias evitem!!!!!! Temos uma filha de 3 anos que viaja connosco, quando fiz a reserva ela podia estar connosco e tinham berço para ela. Quando efectuei a reserva e paguei enviaram-me mensagem a confirmar a idade dela, ao que me responderam que então para 3 anos não tinham berço. Enfim, já estava pago aceitei que ficaria connosco ou improvisaríamos uma cama para ela. O que me chocou foi ver o tamanho absolutamente descomunal do quarto dava para 10/15 berços ou cama extra e havia outros tantos sítios onde se poderia guardar quando não estão a uso. Tornando assim perfeitamente incompreensível o porquê da minha filha e nós termos dormido numa situação precária. Está tudo bem em serem Adults only mas sejam honestos e digam-no. À saída por acaso encontramos a dona e partilhei que achava que o espaço tinha imenso espaço para um berço/cama extra e que era pena não terem esse cuidado, olhou para mim com ar de quem não tinha o mínimo interesse no que estava a dizer, nem no conforto das crianças e limitou-se a dizer “Bom resto de viagem”. Tinha tudo para ter sido excelente mas foi a pior estadia de 15 dias de viagem. A não repetir!!!!

• Lucy (10/5): Beautiful suite in the perfect location! - Absolutely beautiful!! The suite we stayed in was phenomenal - so spacious and everything you could need. The location was great - short distance from the main attractions, the bus stop is around the corner that drops you off from the airport and the train station is a short walking distance away. The host was amazing - very helpful. I could not fault this place.

• Woottons (8/5): Excellent - Excellent location for exploring Catania. Large comfortable room, beautifully presented. Amazing building. The bathroom door. The screeching noise isn't great, particulary at night. So easily fixed.
• Adam (9/5): Very. Very good hotel style, oversized room. - A very clean, very good size room with one large chair and one standard chair. Both very comfortable. A large, comfortable bed. Good size balcony which we used in the evenings. The apartment is directly across an unused church and you are not overviewed. Nice and private. The security was excellent. Renata, who greeted us was fabulous to deal with. Our bed was made daily which was a nice surprise. The building is in a side street and it is within easy walking distance to the centre (300m ?) Airport bus stop is 100m away. Huge number of restaurants and bars in the area. Some of these you have to wait until later in the day to get going. Evenings in Catania’s centre are excellent. We found it very safe to walk around in the evenings. Nothing that we could complain about.

• Georgia (5/5): With a decent aircon and a comfortable bed our rating would have been much higher. - The breakfast was nice, hospitality excellent and the location excellent Air conditioner did not cool the room enough and it couldn’t be run at night because of the loud rattling. The conditions were hot and humid over our stay. In a place like Italy you expect working air conditioning if that’s what’s advertised. The bed and mattress also needs to be upgraded. The two most important things we expected to be comfortable were not.

High ceilings, modern bathroom, 3 balconies, espresso machine, a reception entrance lounge with a piano… honestly simply amazing! The property gets a 10/10 rate from me! Upon arrival, someone was already there waiting for us! Superb in every way! The property is amazing, the location is great, but the environment there was noisy. There were two restaurant terraces on one side, a music club on the other, scooters, cars, trucks, motorcycles, sirens, people honking horns anytime of the day and night, dogs barking from their balconies! Noisy.

Noisy on weekends as it’s next to restaurants and pubs, but shouldn’t be much problem as windows shut properly. Really nice room overall. We visited in January and the heating took a lot of time to heat the room.

The cleaner let us in early and arranged everything for us to check in early. His name wS Raki. Nice helpful man. Stairs to apartment on 2nd floor and no lift. Hard to Cary suitcases. There was team and coffee. But fridge was tiny and no other cutlery or plates etc. neighbourhoods was a little on the rough side. Although we did not feel unsafe. Could not contact the owner to let him know we had arrived earlier Tegan planned.

• Linda (10/5): Perfect place in perfect location - We loved this place in the oldest, most historic part of the city although it didn’t look like much from the outside. It was convenient to everything including train, bus, restaurants and all historic sights. The space was tastefully decorated and very comfortable especially the bed. We were very happy here. We liked everything and Antonio was great.
• Gavin (2/5): Poor communication, dirty apartment, avoid. - Location was ok. That’s about it. Poor communication. Never received any message to tell us how to enter in advance or ask what time we are arriving. The room / balcony was visibly dirty, toilet wasn’t cleaned and floor had hairs all over. The shower also had limescale all over it, couldn’t use the balconies as there was bird poo all over them. To top it off the touch code system didn’t work and spent 10 mins each day/ night trying to enter the room. One night it took 20 mins. After messaging the owner they responded one hour later to say there was a key hidden in reception, there was no key. Luckily we finally managed to enter the room… to top it all off I was accused of taking the key after we left. Overall terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend as the owner clearly doesn’t care about his guests. Shame really as we had some wonderful hosts during our stay in Sicily who did care!

The air conditioning effective. And the building, apartment and room very secure. A great location for exploring Catania. You’ll need to write down the security codes (there are three separate codes to remember). But it’s manageable. And I appreciate the security.

Great place to stay in Catania! Slightly difficult to find from the street - we couldn't see any signposts but host was quick to respond to our messages.

• Isabelle (8/5): What a beautiful room - Our room was the suite and wow, what a beautiful room. So spacious and all of the details where perfect! The hotel was super close to the main square section, where there is honestly amazing food and coffee. if you are pistachio lover you will have the time of your life! I just wish I had researched the area a bit more, I think unless you have a lot of excursions booked 2 days is all you need in Catania. However there is a lot of beautiful architecture in the area and some amazing food so don't be put off! The only other thing I would suggest is sending guest very clear instructions of how to get into the hotel maybe the day of or the day before because I essentially stumbled upon it by luck.

Area was quiet at night, nice breeze through large windows that open up to 3 balconies(only one room has this) The host was great. Very close to train and bus station There is no sign on building indicating you are at the right spot. The street coming to location can seem a bit shady especially if coming at night. The entrance door is a old wooden door, once through there is an entry way that needs some love but once up to the second floor the apartments are lovely and spacious. No A/C until June 1st
• Hans (9/5): Spacious clean modern room with historic charm. - Central location, spacious modern clean room, comfy big bed. Double glassed so little outside noise. Also, every 25 mins there is an Alibus direct to the airport (€4) The bus stop is just around the corner. Many restaurants and all the main attractions are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Renata was very welcoming and helpful. Initial entrance is a bit unclear, there is no name or signage on or near the 2 huge brown wooden doors on the street. After Renata opened Its doors, a long marble staircase leads to the apartments on the 2nd floor.
