Zimer wie erwartet, Pakrplatz direkt vor dem Eingang. Das Badezimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, kein heisses Wasser in der Küche

• kianoush (9/5): Lugn och fin vistelse - Det var lugnt. Vi var 3 personer men fick ett rum med två dubbelsängar och det var bekvämt. Utsikten var fint och nära vatten. Parkeringen var nära. Köket var inte välutrustat. Kastruller hade ingen lock och det fanns ingen sill, stekpannan var väldigt använt och trasig.

• Xaver (7/5): Zimmer gut, der Rest nicht. - Das Zimmer mit eigenem Bad war groß, gut ausgestattet und sauber. In der kleinen Gemeinschaftsküche fehlt es an allem. Keine Möglichkeit sich ein Abendessen zuzubereiten, nicht mal einen Kaffee. Zudem war im ganzen Ort alles geschlossen.

• Momchil (8/5): Comfortable and affordable hotel - Comfortable beds and pillows, nice rooms, warm and clean. We stranded in the town due to a snowstorm with few other groups and the locals recommended the hotel anf took great care of us. The room even had free wifi and a big TV screen with Netflix. The kitchen needs an upgrade with more pans and pots, some detergent for the dishes and tabs for the dishwasher.

• Michele (5/5): - La struttura è dotata di auto check-in quindi è molto comoda per questo punto di vista, la città è carina anche se vista di questo periodo che è completamente deserta, ed è in un’ottima posizione per il tutto il giro della Ring 1 innanzitutto abbiamo dovuto ripiegare in questa struttura per un errore di booking, la ragazza che gestisce l’hotel è stata molto gentile nel darci una mano. entrando in camera la struttura pareva pulita, ma abbiamo trovato una bottiglia di un superalcolico vuota sulla scrivania e degli asciugamani e un bicchiere sporco nel bagno, come se qualcuno ci avesse passato qualche ora e se ne fosse andato
• Alison (7/5): Good location - Access to the room was via a code. The hotel has a shared kitchen with a table on the 1st floor. We were the only people staying, so had the kitchen to ourselves and we ate a dinner and had breakfast there. If more people had stayed then I think it would have been a little awkward. Easy parking right outside. A shop and small cafe across the road. Unfortunately the brewery and tap room were closed. A little basic, but you get what you pay for,

• Marek (7/5): Would be better if not one uncomfortable bed. - Available at the last moment when Hringvedur #1 was washed out just south of us. This hotel sports decent room to prepare and eat a meal. The only heating devices are kettle and microwave. There is also a fridge. Great for a place called hotel in Iceland. That was first uncomfortable bed I had in Iceland. My wife’s bad was good. That was our site number 9. We also stayed in 3 more places so far.

The bathroom grout was mildewy, soundproofing was non-existent. Spend the extra money, and go to the hotel next door if you can. (They’re managed by the same staff).

• RIE (9/5): - スタッフがとても親切でした。小さな町ですが、軽食が取れる売店がすぐ近くにありピザなども持ち帰れます。宿泊した別館は、TVモニターはついていますが、TVの受信はできないそうです。自分のアカウントでWebサイトを見ることができるとのこと。たまたま接続が悪く部屋で見ることはできませんでしたが、Wifiは強かったので自分の端末で見ることができました。別館にはキッチンとテーブルとあって、電子レンジもトースターもカトラリーもありました。 スタッフの方は、翌日の旅程のアドバイスをくれたり道の選択の相談に乗ってくれたり親切でした。 ホテルの名前が、Hotel　Post　となっていなかったので、この建物のでよいのか少し混乱しましたが、聞いたらここですと教えてくれました。 ありがとうございました。

• Karen (10/5): - It would help tremendously to put the trash containers in the bathroom (under the sink), mount the TV on the wall and place the table in the middle of the wall opposite the bed. We had carry-out and had to eat on the bed because the TV was on the table. I noticed an outdoor patio where you could place a hot tub but I bet it’s hard to monitor with no on-site staff.
• monica (7/5): - Camera grande con 5 letti, bagno minimal senza grandi pretese. Struttura molto vecchia. Cucina in comune senza fornello con frigo e microonde. Paesino piccolo ma accogliente Molto vecchia come struttura. Nulla di particolare.
• A (8/5): - Proprio di fronte c'è una birreria artigianale con ottime birre e prezzi "continentali", cioè non islandesi. E accanto un market/bar dove poter rifornirsi e poter mangiare anche oltre le 18:00 (e in Islande è un'eccezione)

Nous avons réservé 2 chambres à plus de 200 euros chacune dont une était un placard toute petite ainsi que la salle de bain. Une petite cuisine mise à disposition manque une plaque pour faire cuire, pas de torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle. Et le matin très bruyante à 6 h notre chambre était juste à côté. Mal insonorisée . Je ne pas contente . Trop Cher pour la qualité .

The beds were big and comfortable. The only place to have breakfast was the hotel next door. The breakfast itself was very good with a variety of food, but I found it a bit expensive. But we had no alternative for food, since the only bakery-mini market of the village opens at 10.00 in the morning, which is too late for breakfast. At this time we were getting ready for check out.

• Elian (2/5): Terrible option-avoid this hotel - As soon as we drove up to the run down building housing this hotel, we knew we were in for a rough ride. They had promised to send check in information ahead of time, which they failed to do. The hotel next door did help us out, and we got into our room, which was much worse than the pictures online show. There was still hair on the wall in the bathroom from a previous guest, which we complained about and they ungraciously removed. My wife and son then proceeded to shower and, since there is absolutely nothing that prevents water from the shower reaching the room, the entire room proceeded to flood. We then complained about this, and they blamed us, as if we were the ones who designed an absolutely moronic showering system. We had a terrible night, we didn't all even get to shower, and it luggage got wet as well. The hotel refused any compensation and were generally awful to work with. I strongly recommend you pick another option and avoid this hotel.

• Andrea (8/5): Comoda soluzione per una notte di passaggio - Struttura organizzata bene, la nostra camera si trovava al piano terra, con bagno privato, come credo tutti in questa struttura. Letto matrimoniale molto comodo e presenza di due cuscini (cosa rara in Islanda). Una piccola cucina in comune senza zona fuochi, ma con un microonde, un bollitore e un tostapane, stoviglie presenti. Presente in cucina anche un frigorifero. L’esterno non valorizza la cura interna, ma non ci sono particolari criticità. Forse si potrebbe mettere un piccolo fornello nella cucina comune.

• Anja (9/5): Gute Infrastruktur. Gemütlich. Praktisch - Es war eine Spontanbuchung; und eine gute Wahl. Per Code war auch ein Spätcheckin möglich. Geräumiges Zimmer mit eigenem Bad liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Selbst herausgefunden wurde die Küche im Obergeschoss (Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle (kein Herd), Equipment) mit großem Tisch zum gemütlich Sitzen und sogar Balkonzugang - ideal für ein gutes selbst bereitetes Frühstück. Fast gegenüber ist ein kleiner Einkaufsladen mit kleiner Speisekarte - das Restaurant nebenan im Hotel wurde nicht ausprobiert. Alles fußläufig, was man braucht. Schön wars! Von außen sieht es etwas heruntergekommen aus und ungepflegt (Gartenbereich) - das widerspricht aber absolut dem Innenleben. Das darf gern angepasst werden :) . Aber vielleicht wars auch einfach noch zu früh in der Saison.

Das Zimmer war auch zu dritt geräumig genug. Es gab Vorhänge zum Abdunkeln. Das Badezimmer ist außergewöhnlich groß. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.
