- Andrea (8/5): Soggiorno ad Akureyri - In pieno centro di Akureyri comodo parcheggio vicino gratuito dalle 16.00 alle 10.00, quindi perfetto per lasciare l'auto la sera. L'appartamento all'interno è moderno e ben arredato. Qualche piccola pecca è presente ma tutto sommato lo consiglio Purtroppo la posizione è sopra un pub e le camere danno sul retro del locale dove "qualche..." rumore di notte si sente. le scale per arrivare all'appartamento sono molto piccole e ripide e con delle valigie di grandi dimensioni è un po' scomodo.

- Guðrún Birna (4/5): - Location was good and a good host that came and helped sort out a few thins that was missing. I think there is mold in that apartment and the hallway as well, it is worn out, things where missing, broken and the wify did not work the first 24 hours. Windows and walls where dirty for example. But the host was good, came and fixed what he could.

- min (8/5): very satisfied。 - it has a big living room and big kitchen. bedroom is a little bit small. we arrived late around 10 pm. but the sky was very bright so it's easy to find the apartment and it's easy to get the key to self check in. there is a big public parking nearby. this is the cheapest apartment I can find with Booking, but it's much better than I expected. can you imagine one night for €180 in Akureyri？ nothing

- Kristján Helgi (4/5): Mediocre stay att downtown apartment - Comfy beds. Clean, except the moldy windows. Even though the apartment is small, it's feels much bigger and was more than enough for a family of 5. Downton location with lots of restaurants just around the corner and even one literally just downstairs All the minor faults of the apartment that management brushed off like cosmetic only and not even an inconvenience. Like the broken bathroom lock, moldy windows, broken window lathes, broken window blind in master bedroom, loose doorstop that my 2 years old son found and ran around with like a rely sharp shiv, broken cealing fan in bathroom that made the whole apartment fog up as soon as someone took a shower, broken lightbulps. Well, I got to give them credit for coming over on our last day to fix the broken lock and change at least one broken bulp. It Costed me some time arguing back and forth via email, though. And yeah, another thing that would not have bothered me if it hadn't been explicitly mentioned, the appointment is NOT soundproofed more than any old house. I could hear conversations on the street outside with windows closed.

- Maya (8/5): The apartment is located right in the city center, very close to restaurants, cafés, and shops. - The second room was quite small and had a bunk bed, which made it feel cramped. However, the living room was spacious and had a comfortable sofa that could be used for sleeping.

- eric (5/5): - La literie est confortable, l'appartement est spacieux, bien placé par rapport au centre ville La localisation au dessus des bars et d'une place festive en weekend a rendu nos nuits particulièrement pénibles. Pas possible de dormir avant 4h du matin. Réveil à 7h avec la balayeuse. Les fenêtres ne sont absolument pas prévues pour isoler du bruit Les communs sont vieillots (local machine à laver) mais ont le mérite d'exister L'équipement est insuffisant surtout pour plusieurs nuitées (pas de balai, pas assez de couverts, nappe sale, un seul torchon, pas assez de papier toilette...) La température de la douche est inréglable, l'eau est bouillante ou varie très brusquement. Monter plusieurs étages avec des grosses valises dans des marches hautes n'est pas facile .
- Sagarg (5/5): Passable - Apartment was spacious No check in instructions were sent ahead of time and had to follow up on phone to get access to keys. The apartment was on 4th floor with no elevator and very narrow staircase. It was extremely exhausting to carry all the luggage up. Lastly, their sofa bed mattress is terrible and has caved in the middle. It's unreasonable for anyone to sleep on it comfortably. The windows in the living room where the sofa bed is kept does not have black out curtains so difficult to sleep when it's bright outside even during the night. The bathroom has no locks and shower runs too hot.

We struggled a bit with finding the right location, due to the square having multiple addresses part of the same establishment (we had the correct address but that specific one was the only one without a sign).
- Arnar (8/5): Good weekend stay in the centre of Akureyri - Comfortable beds. Good location for my trip. I felt safe. Everything you need is in the apartment, towels, kitchenware, fridge for food, room to store your own things and much more. The water pressure in the shower was not good, so it took a long time to shower. It was a hot and sunny weekend in Akureyri so it would have been nice to have a fan to plug in. Noise does not bother me, but if you are looking for a quiet stay, then it’s good for you to know there are two bars next to the apartment and party noise during weekend nights, bring earplugs.

We weren’t informed that there was no elevator in the building and we had to use the stairs with all our luggage Furthermore the sofa that was used as a double bed was not that comfortable and the bedsheets weren’t in the best condition

The very uncomfortable beds. The lack of reading lamps in the small room. The tiredness of the decor. The broken lightbulbs. The terrible noise outside all Saturday night. The bad smell of the drains in the bathroom.

The pillows have flatten to almost like sleeping on pillow cases, and the zip on the quilt cover can not be closed. Body wash/shampoo not provided - was told used the hand soap 😞

- Catherine (6/5): Only a week night stay!!!! - The apartment itself was great - big rooms and kitchen. Beds were comfortable. For the price I would have expected there to be shower soap/shampoo and conditioner, maybe coffee for the machine available. I would NEVER stay here again if it was a Friday or Saturday night. We got NO sleep because of the club that was incredibly loud until 3am and drunks until 5:30am. The street noise is LOUD at this place - like there isn’t insulation and only single pane windows or something. We could hear every word from people below.

Alot of loose things , like doorknobs , hangers , and even the toilet was loose from the wall. Price was too high for a unmaintained property.

Ex: The sponge to wash the dishes was old and greasy - The building itself is not pleasant (cracks in the outer walls) - Very noisy area! The appartement is a few steps from a café/ pub and there were parties until the 2 or 3 AM
- Sui (7/5): It is a ok stay for one night. - It situates in a prime downtown location. There are restaurants and attractions nearby The apartment definitely needs renovation. The lock in the bathroom is broken. Overall it is not clean. Washer and dryer are on the ground floor and we didn’t use them because they are not clean. The water pressure in the apartment is rather low. The worst is that When the tap in kitchen is on, hot water in the bathroom is instantly out. Yet, no shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided. Also, soundproof needs to be improved. One can hear sounds from the street below. Since the apartment is above an Indian restaurant, the apartment is always filled with smell of Indian food.
- Javier (6/5): It was ok, but probably would not stay there again. - The apartment was big. The beds were comfortable. We had a washing and dryer machine. The location was good. It was a 3 floor walk-up. There is limited parking space available. The shower water smelled like sulfur (rotten eggs) and there was a strange odor also in the kitchen. There were no napkins. No coffee machine. For an apartment, it could have been better stocked.

Not very well soundproofed: in the evening/night during the week end the club in front of the apartment plays music until 3 in the morning and we could hear it even with windows closed. The shower is leaking, the kitchen is not enought equipped: there were no wooden spoons for cooking, no bowls (salad bowl),only 3 breakfast bowls - we were 4 people - that we used for a soup (there were no soup plates either). A washer and dryer are available downstairs for 1000 isk, but they are not very clean.

- Neely (5/5): Great place if you bring a sound machine and portable fan. Otherwise not a good option. - Property was in a convenient location. Parking was impossible to find near property and the noise was terrible. Not possible to sleep without the windows open because it was too hot, but noise on street from people at bars/cafe was extremely loud.

- Michelle (6/5): Good size and location. - The property was in the best location for shopping and restaurants. The apartment was a great size for a family of 6 with a large kitchen and living area. The bedrooms were larger than most places we have been staying. There is a fee to use the washer that is located on the main level. The mattresses and pillows were stained, the bedding seemed old and well used. The chair in the living area was stained and the carpet was torn. The plastic table cover was older with a few tears. There were signs in the apartment that gave it a hostel feel. These things made the apartment feel dirty to our group, but if the management fixed those few things it would be an amazing stay.

- Martin (5/5): Good for our needs on our brief visit, worked through the issue of not enough dishes for the use of three people. - Good location. Bunk beds apparently not very comfortable. Not well enough equipped, only 2 mugs, 2 bowls for three people. Bathroom door did not lock, but we made do. Parking is NOT free before 4pm, we got a ticket after 2 minutes of parking @3:47pm, were told that we could park for 15 minutes to unload our luggage.
