As do all the staff. - Clean, cozy, kids activities, ev charging, location, bars, restaurant, snooker, pool, darts, swimming, bowling, etc My 16yo son asked for more activities for his age group.

Kathryn (5/5): Could - Facilities on the site were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. No access to the beach. Asked for directions to the beach and was advised that driving would be better option. There is a way to walk but needs signposted. Caravan was a bit tired. Terrible dog smell in the caravan. Had to leave the windows open to try and reduce the smell. Dog treats on the floor in every room. Usually discovered after standing on them. Self catering should have an oven glove to avoid burns removing items from oven. Oven glove not something I would necessarily think about packing but essential for health and safety. One duvet had no duvet cover and 2 pillows with no slips. No parking beside the caravan due to it being on the end of the row. Essential when one guest had disabilities. Families with children should be advised that access to the play park is restricted after 10pm. Children and adults screaming and shouting late into the evening within the play park. Children running around late at night chapping windows and running away every night. Instructions for heating controls would also be helpful. Extra charge for having beds made and for WiFi use was a surprise and seemed excessive when the cost of the stay was already on the higher end.

Georgiana (7/5): - Location is perfect for exploring the surroundings and touristic places! Staff was lovely and helpful! Friendly atmosphere The lodge cleaning was poor... The double bed was okay to sleep on but the twin room had very little and uncomfortable beds to sleep on. In the end the kids were sleeping on the sofa, without extending it because under the sofa bed it looked like it wasn't cleaned for some time!Also the bedding should be upgraded,the bedsheets were ripped off in some places! Didn't want to go and complain at reception as we used the lodge just to shower and sleep, basically. Overall the facilities on the site are great,as is the swimming pool,the shop and the coffee shop.. It will be great if the cleaning will be a bit better, it will make the lodges more welcome and smelling fresher!

David (10/5): Exceptional - A Great Holiday Park, Staff were great. Prices were great for a Holiday park as you usualy get ripped off. The Adult Sports Bar was great for watching the Football. The Sauna and Steam room are a great bonus for chilling out. 100% will be revisiting.

Nickaila (9/5): Excellent, comfortable and entertaining family break - The apartments were ideally located to the leisure complex and outdoor pool (which we didn’t use because of the season but perfect for summer). We stayed in the smallest apartment but it was clean and comfortable (2 adults, a 5 year old and a 3 year old). 3 of the best nights sleeps we’ve had in ages. The entertainment was excellent, the acts had us belly laughing. The kids had a brilliant time at the games and disco. The facilities were perfect for the ages of my children. Site itself is immaculate and very well kept. Nothing.

Steven (8/5): Very good - Everything was great, the accommodation was very nice and comfortable, prices were OK, The park grounds are always clean, and the walk into siloth is nice and a lovely location. Food, I feel there isn't any choice only the pool cafe, it could do with a restaurant, or even hot food van for chips and burgers, I feel this would bring in a lot of bussiness when people are leaving the bar to go home for the night.

Michael (7/5): We liked staying there, we’ve been before, and will stay again. Just parking is an issue at times - The location is ideal for us, a short walk into Silloth, which is a place we like. Also places like, Keswick, Cockermouth, Workington are easy to get to from the site. The apartment had a nice new shower, and central heating, which was available to use day and night. The settee, and chair were very badly stained, but nothing rubbed off onto us. The attachments on the fridge door were missing, making it difficult to get everything into the small fridge. The main problem for us was parking, I think the bays should be numbered to each apartment. When we came back at night, sometimes we couldn’t park, and had to go right to the front of the site, and have a cold walk back to the apartment. There was parking for seven cars at the back of the apartment, ( I know because for a few days seven of us did park there ) so when we couldn’t park at the front we’d go to the back. But when new arrivals came,often people parked without considering others, so only five cars could get in, and again we couldn’t.

Louise (10/5): Family holiday - We really enjoyed our holiday.The bassenthwaite apartment was really nice clean and comfy. The cafe had lovely food entertainment was really good and shop was nice.Swimming was really good all amazing would come again thankyou.
David (7/5): Enjoyed the site and will book again - Good location for travelling around the area, did not use the catering facilities but very good cafes pubs ect in the area. Good leisure centre maybe a bit small for the size of the site which was not busy when I booked. Apartment was clean and bed was comfortable. Furniture tired and dated but adequate .Had a problem trying to book with bookings. com which resulted in my bank card being frozen recommend dealing with the site direct.
