- SUSANA (9/5): Hotel hermoso - Me encantó el hotel. Es hermosisimo. De Los hoteles más lindos que he visitado El gimnasio increíble. Las instalaciones hermosas. El servicio y personal excelente. El concierge suoer atento a todos nuestroa requerimientos. Por mejorar, los desayunos son un poco demorados, y la ubicación es un poco alejada del centro a comparación de otros hoteles muy lindos de la zona. Queda a aproximadamente 15 minutos caminando. Que no está mal. Pero prefiero hoteles mas cercanos.

- Adilia (7/5): La propiedad destaca por un spa y una propuesta gastronómica excepcionales, aunque se ve opacada por fallas importantes - Definitivamente, lo mejor de la propiedad es el spa: es espectacular y el servicio es absolutamente magnífico. También quiero destacar como un gran acierto la presencia del restaurante Zibu, donde la cocina fue extraordinaria y el servicio, excelente. Fue muy difícil contactar a la propiedad para coordinar servicios con el concierge previo a mi estancia lo que complicó bastante hacer planes con anticipación. Además, el baño (WC) tenía un olor persistente y muy desagradable, tipo migitorio, que no se solucionó pese a haberlo reportado y a la supuesta intervención de mantenimiento. Este tipo de situaciones resultan inaceptables. Por último, el servicio en general podría mejorar.
- Winter Light (4/5): A Beautiful Hotel But Too Many Parties - The entire hotel compound was huge and very beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. The staff was mostly friendly. Hosting weddings and events seems a major business for this hotel. This is very unfortunate for the guests who want peace and rest at night like us. During our four-night stay, there was a wedding party on the 1st night and another event on the fourth. The wedding party was right underneath our window and lasted till 1 am. It was too loud to rest let alone sleeping so we had to move to a different room late at night. The room was quiet, but dark, cold and with horrible faucets which splashing water all over us, one of the faucets didn't have hot water. It was worse than our room but we didn't have a choice since we wanted to rest and sleep. We were able to move back to our original room on the 2nd day and had enjoyed two peaceful nights in our comfortable room without any party noise. Then there was another party on 4th night and its loudspeaker didn't end until 11:30pm，then the cleanup noise continued well after midnight. The noise of the event speaker started again the next morning around 7am. After spending 550+ USD per night, we are very unhappy with the whole experience.

- Salvador Israel (9/5): Muy buen hotel, bonito y bien ubicado - Al llegar hubo una persona que nos recibio el auto y se preocupo por que estuviera todo bien, era la persona que desde que te bajas al hotel te recibe y es muy amable y atento. Las instalaciones son bonitas y nuevas. Fueron atentos al resolvernos un olvido La persona que nos recibio en el check in a eso de las 11:30 pm fue poco amable y parecia fastidiada quiza es comun que si no eres gringo la cara le cambia, inclusive nos asigno una habitacion que no parecia la mejor pues estaba muy sofocante entre calor y humedad. Nos habian comentado que el horario del restaurante era hasta las 12:30 pm, acudimos a las 12:15 pm pero ya no quisieron ofrecernos el servicio El aire acondicionado de la habitacion parece no funcionar de forma adecuada pero decidimos quedarnos ahi por que ya era muy tarde y solo llegamos a dormir. Empiezan a tocar desde las 9 am para preguntar por servicio de limpieza.

- Alcira (7/5): - El hotel y la ubicación son maravillosos. El desayuno pese al alto costo de la habitación no estaba incluido, por lo que no puedo valorarlo. El costo de la habitación es considerablemente alto. Entonces uno espera más de la relación precio producto. La caja de seguridad no tenía batería cuando llegamos a la habitación. No dejaron secador de pelo, lo comentamos en recepción, nos dijeron que nos fijáramos bien y efectivamente no había. Tuvimos que llamar y pedirlo. Tuvimos que solicitar que nos reabastezcan las cápsulas de café porque no lo habían hecho. En un hotel como estos uno espera que haya servicio de apertura de cama. Y por último había una boda que se escuchaba mucho en la habitación. Teníamos que levantarnos 5:30 a.m. porque nos teníamos que ir. A las 22:58 llamamos para consultar cuando terminaría y nos dijeron que a las 23:00, pasadas las 24:00 seguía sonando la música. Por la boda algunos de los lugares de comida no funcionaban y cuando quisimos reservar (on line porque estábamos fuera) en un par no nos dejó, sin embargo al llegar al hotel había mesas disponibles.

Room cleaning could do a better job (eg forgot to bring new towels, refill water, etc). The view from my room was straight to a dixi toilet on an abandoned construction site, despite the fact that there were enough rooms available. Bath tub without hot water. Considering the high standard you would expect from a hotel like this one, it unfortunately did not do too well.

- Ana (6/5): It is not worth the price. - Clean and organized They use it for events and close restaurants to the guest without previous notice. Everything is too expensive m, not a good value for money. There was accident in our room were it was beating cleaned and the black out curtains were ripped out and instead of telling us and change ig rooms that said nothing.

No he encontrado tal calidad de atención en mis visitas y vacaciones. De pronto hay ciertos detalles que hablan de pequeños, pero importantes descuidos. Por ejemplo, tomamos un camastro que tenía las cortinas atadas y, al desatarlas, había polvo, telarañas y hasta una araña. Se ve que no es algo que hagan de rutina ni a lo que le pongan mucha antención. Esos detalles son importantes, aunque parezcan menores.

The property is beautiful, and your staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. It was truly a pleasure being there, and we would recommend your hotel to others. One of the main reasons we chose our particular room was for the private outdoor jacuzzi, as we were looking forward to relaxing in a private and peaceful setting. Unfortunately, on our second day, we had an unexpected and unsettling incident that affected how we felt about the room. A raccoon entered our room through the back door connected to the outdoor area. It startled both of us, and when I tried to scare it off, it stood on its hind legs and growled aggressively. After about five minutes, it finally exited, but not before knocking over several items and creating a great deal of stress. After this incident, we no longer felt comfortable using the outdoor jacuzzi or the patio area, which was one of the main features we were excited about. While we still had an overall positive experience at your hotel, this incident unfortunately impacted our comfort and enjoyment of the room we had specifically selected.

- ShaiPat38 (10/5): Lovely hotel, Amazing food, Incredible City! - We were recently at the Live Aqua Hotel for a friend's wedding. We enjoyed our time immensely at this property. The layout of the hotel, and the food and dining options were superb! Only a couple issues with housekeeping (coffee cups - so, not a big deal) and the room (Bluetooth speaker wasn't working - again, not a big deal) but other than that, our stay was PERFECT! Thank you to the Live Aqua team for your attention and service. The whole wedding party mentioned a lot how much they loved the hotel. Will definitely come back again to relax and enjoy the rest of the hotel and the rest of the LOVELY CITY! Highly recommend!

This hotel is just a fantastic place to stay in San Miguel. Easy walk to town and perfect place to relax and enjoy food and drink by the pool!!!
- 387yurin (8/5): Gorgeous place. - Gorgeous place. Staff were nice and try to be accommodating even tough mostly of the time either the forgot or didn't solve the issue. Buffet breakfast is great and convenient. Our room was located in a zone of the hotel that smells like sewer 24/7, also they were having some type of conference and they did a couple of parties above and near to our bedroom which was annoying. Our Jacuzzi was malfunctioning and they came to "fixed", but they did not do a thing, so that was also annoying since we got this type of room because the Jacuzzi. Bed was comfy, shower a big plus. Gym a little small and basic for such huge complex. Pool was cold.

Every member of the staff were so welcoming, kind and eager to help in any way. Workout facilities were large with nice equipment and the award winning spa lived up to its reputation. Thank you Live Aqua San Miguel for making our stay magical.
- swharrell (10/5): The Best in San Miguel de Allende - This place is great! Everything you could want or need. Very relaxing. Good food. Good service (but a little slow for many Americans...get used to it in Mexico). The bathroom design is a little weird...offers limited privacy. The lighting in the rooms could be more functional. Beds very comfy! Staff very professional. Location is walking distance from almost anything in Centro area including Fabrica Aurora. Would definitely stay here again.

We so much enjoyed our stay. Our room was outstanding. The MexThai fusion in the open air patio absolutely one of our best meals. Massage in the spa was completely relaxing and a sensory delight. Much praise for this property. The pool was under renovation and a reason why we chose this hotel, but it mattered not. Thank you and highly recommend for your stay in the enchanting SMA!
- cscanzoni (6/5): Better options in town - Would stay at Rosewood or Belmond instead of Live Aqua. While the property is admittedly beautiful, the property still has significant logistics issues to work through. Do not believe our room was ever cleaned before 4P, you need to ask for more water and coffee daily or else it will not be refilled, our keys were deactivated nearly daily, and we received errant charges to our bill. Finally, beware that a significant number of rooms are subterranean, so you should expect very minimal natural light if you draw the short straw on room location. It’s a big corporation, so the property’s ability to remediate grievances is limited (other reviews here corroborate the resolution issue). Again, this is a beautiful place to stay, but you should expect five-star facilities with three-star attention to detail. Also, read the fine print - there is an added 10% gratuity fee that is added to your bill when you check in. We had a great vacation, but this hotel is not worth the price.

- G3964BHjessicas (2/5): deplorable hygiene - It was a terrible experience for me and my wife, the hygiene of this hotel is very dangerous, terrible smell in the steam and a rat ate a cake that we left in the room, we used the spa that is not included in any category of the hotel, you have to pay for the spa $ 30 for one hour of service, it is absurd that you can only use it for one hour, I think that the hotel administration does not understand the concept of a spa, since it is for relaxation, then we left a cake in our room and we found a rat eating it, a horrible experience, I do not recommend this hotel

- Hadley (1/5): Bad - When I arrived the room I had booked was not available. I was told I could check into an upgraded room at 3pm. At 3pm I was told the room would not be available until 5pm. At 5pm I was told the room was still not available. Eventually, I was put me in a room with a hot tub that did not work and the wifi also was not working. I had to have the staff come to the room to figure out the wifi- I was first told the wifi issue was my computers issue but that was not the case. Eventually at 7:30pm the wifi issue was fixed. The entire experience was very stressful and not at all a 5 star hotel experience.
