Guest Reviews

- Praveen (8/5): Great staff and big rooms - Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, big and spacious, and came with had a nice view. The location is also somewhat convenient, a 15-20 minute walk to the town centre or a short tuk tuk ride away. Wifi connection was a little spotty. Shower hot water only lasts about 5 mins at a time. The room can get very chilly at night and there isn't any heater inside the room.
- Jens (7/5): Super clean , big room (yet limited facilities) - Super clean and big room, very friendly staff. Close to the main centre of Nuwara Eliya
They let us stay for two additional hours in our room as we had some stomach issue Hotel has not really any nice area to spend some time eg a garden, anything with a view or a dinner area which feels cozy (yet they do serve dinner however we decided to dine outside as the dinner room looked a bit cold and dark).
- Andrew (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - Wonderful place to stay.

Staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a great experience, and I would happily stay here again.
- Jodie (7/5): It’s a good budget hotel for price in location. - Comfortable bed, staff accommodated our short notice for breakfast. We only stayed one night. It was very hard to locate in the dark. There was no reception for the tv.

The staff was super friendly and welcomed us warmly.
We booked a Deluxe Family room for two nights and the room was so spacious.
The room had all the facilities even the heater.
The bathroom was equipped with all the necessities.
We took only the breakfast from the hotel and it was delicious and more than enough.
The staff served us well.
We will definitely stay here next time also.

- Kulathunga (10/5): Nice place - very nice and clean place.
- Shannon (9/5): Nice stay - Great stay with a nice room. Also very helpful staff.
- Emily (6/5): Staff were lovely - It was clean and the rooms are big! location is quite central. Wi-Fi was terrible for our entire stay although manager said this was the telephone company issues so might not be the same now. We only ate here once and it wasn’t good at all although the manager did ask if he could replace our food after they realised how overcooked it was.
- Vinusha (10/5): Fabulous - The rooms were very big and comfy. I never expected such a wonderful hotel. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer.

- Tulsi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayasinghe (9/5): Superb - Very clean and comfortable . Friendly staff.
- Marjolein (8/5): Good hotel with great rooms and breakfast - Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast. Staff is helpfull and location is in walking distance of NE town and the lake Gregory. There is a very nice little cafe, Themparadu, just around the corner for dinner and drinks. The town is not much to do or see and the hotel also is quite practical. No pool, but we understand normally also no pool weather....(we had it warm...)
- Bohuslav (7/5): Good -
- Nerida (8/5): Beautiful modern property with comfy beds. - Beautiful modern property. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was amazing. The breakfast was good. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is a bit out of the town (not a problem for us as we had a driver). Not many channels on the television. No aircon or fan. It did get a little hot at night and a fan would have been sufficient to cool.
- Kathieja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marjorie (9/5): Restful stay in Nuwara Elyia - The hotel is well located, close to the main attractions of the city (walking distance) without being in busy streets. The staff was very fiendly. The room was very big and clean. The food for breakfast and dinner was tasty (breakfast was included and you can order in advance for dinner). The room was not very well insulated, which was ok as people were going to sleep quite early. We also preferred to arrange transportation on our own as the prices proposed by the hotel were a bit high compared to what you can get
- Kristina (9/5): Elegant and cozy room - - A very elegant and stylish room with enough space for our family with 2 kids.
- Immaculately clean rooms.
- A big bathroom with hot water.
- A tasty breakfast.
- Very friendly staff.
- Great location very close to a few restaurants by foot. The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, leading to discomfort and back pain throughout the night.
- Sonali (10/5): Our stay was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We're already planning to return to this hotel next time. The - The hotel offers a stunning view and exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided us with delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Highly recommend!
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Arunava (7/5): Simple stay with family with no fancy stuff - 1. Good service by the staff. Staff were very helpful.
2. Room size was big, good for stay with family. Rooms were well ventilated and there was one room with a balcony. 1. Room didn't have mini fridge
2. Breakfast was repetitive. It was the same for all of the four days of our stay.
3. Facility doesn't have an elevator.
4. The TV channels were very limited.
- Andrea (9/5): A lovely and warm stay! - The staff here are extremely friendly and attentive; I felt very comfortable and almost like I was the only guest there (to be honest, I don't think there were many of us). I had a full board package - I had dinner sent up to my room the first night after a long day sight seeing. You have to arrange the times of your meals and select your dinner choices (main and dessert) in advance. I thought the food was excellent and breakfast was quite the show. It is table service, but no menu - they bring you a ton of food! I felt a bit wasteful, but all was delicious. Because I was leaving before lunch to head to my next city, they provided me a packed lunch which was convenient. The room was large with beautiful windows, very comfortable. I had some trouble with the wifi working and a staff member brought me my own router to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the packed lunch was the only food that wasn't very good, but otherwise a very nice stay!
- Hannah (9/5): Superb - Very nice property and very helpful staff. Location a bit further away from the centre. Wi-Fi didn’t reach the room however the staff provided an extra router to fix the problem.
- Angelika (9/5): Beautiful villa in Nuwara Eliya residential area with amazing room - The room was absolutely stunning and I think the best I had during my travel in Sri Lanka. Spotless clean, huge, modern bath with high standard. I only stayed one night after climbing Adams Peak and could not have asked for more to relax and unwind. The small boutique hotel resembles a villa. Breakfast was good and served to the table (English and Sri Lankan). There are also tables outside which must be nice to sit unfortunately it rained when I was day and it was really too cold to enjoy. Staff was friendly and organised my transfer from Adams Peak to their premises without a problem. Also organised TukTuk transfer to tea factory. As my train was leaving late I could use the room a bit longer and rest on one of the lounge sofas until my pick-up. A very nice and boho style cafe/restaurant is only 1min on foot - really recommend this one! The location is a bit outside in a residential area - market, etc. is about 20min walk. The atmosphere is a bit distanced if you want to find something :-)
- Dina (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (8/5): Classic hotel in good location to explore Nuwara eliya - Room was spacious, but right above the garage, the floor was very cold. However, the provide an electric heater in the room. The location is good and there is a cute cafe/restaurant/bar around the corner.
- Brooklynn♡ (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brooklynn♡ (10/5): Short stay - Very quiet and close to centre. Very helpful staff. Very large room with good facilities at a very good price. Nothing
- Aminath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Ellen (4/5): Disappointing - Clean bathroom, clean room We didnt sleep at all.
There were kids running and yelling around in the hallway, and then the parents went like 5 times to the car to get some more luggage. This was at 11:30pm.
Then they were discussing there check in in the hallway of our room?!
When I opened the door, i was honestly not happy at all. I asked to please let us sleep, only to see that someone of the counter was standing there discussing with them.
Why?? The counter is at ground level? The walls are like no walls at all. You can here someone whisperinf if you want to. (And i'm a heavy sleeper!)
In no way would i reccomend this, unless you want no sleep at all.
- Michael (10/5): Great location just out of the busy town centre, excellent staff, huge modern and comfortable rooms and a very good brea - Great location on hill above town. 10-15 minutes walk into centre or 3 minutes by tuk tuk. Staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the manager who gave great advice on local walks and where to eat and drink. Only 2 minutes walk from the hotel to the fabulous Themparadu restaurant. Seasons Villa and Themparadu both highly recommended.
- Lena (9/5): Superb - Very friendly staff, helped with organizing trips
- Hiten (9/5): Superb -
- Hiten (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (9/5): Very happy with our stay - The location is great in a quiet area but also in walking distance to the city. The staff were really helpful and kind, accommodated all our requests and also gave tips on where to go waterfall-trekking. A really nice and clean room with balcony. Plenty of hot water in the shower. They don’t have laundry service, which we could have used. Nothing else really.
- Akash (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was great, and the rooms were new. wifi did not work at all. towels were not all clean and the walls were very thin so we could hear everything from outside and other rooms
- Loganarthan (9/5): Superb - Very clean, comfortable,
Enjoyable breakfast & dinner
Great service from everyone None no complaints
- Toomas (7/5): Good -
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel is a really good option to stay during your travel through the country. Nuwara Eliya is the place which deserves attention and we were lucky to choose this hotel, so we could get the best possible impression from the city and surroundings. Specious room with good beds (and very quiet in our case). Caring staff. Good food. Nothing to complain.
- Ahmetuglu (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice, clean, and new, spacious rooms. The views are beautiful. The staff is nice and kind. It is hard to get hot water in the country but this place has it consistently. Very good breakfast as well.
- Alexandra (9/5): Superb - Very nice, spacious and clean rooms with hot water. Beds are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Credit card payment is accepted. They can do better with the restaurant service. But the food was good and the staff service was very kind.
- Jess (7/5): Good -
- Carlotta (9/5): Very Welcoming Place - Very nice staff. Big Room. Good food. Walls are not super soundproof and if you have loud neighbours like we did you can hear next door.
- Muralli (10/5): A Home Away From Home - I stayed here with my family, an amazing place felt like home away from home, we were treated like a VIP. This villa is about 1.4km from the city centre, walking distance but we had to rely on Tuk Tuk due to rain. The hotel also arranged a Tuk Tuk for our tour, and the driver was reliable, know where to start and end the tour based on the weather. The food at the hotel was also great, with reasonable price. The room/bathroom was huge and clean, we had the balcony. All the staffs were friendly and helped us with just anything we need. Definitely will stay here during the next visit. Nuwara Eliya is an amazing holiday destination, don't miss the waterfalls. it's a must do ! Leaving 😞
- Ashyana (10/5): Epic stay in an epic city - From the very first interaction with the hotel staff, we received nothing but excellence. Our driver was having trouble finding the place, and with a bus, if was difficult to get up the hill and into the property, all the staff assisted the driver. We were welcomed with lovely hot coffee, as the there were storms on the day we checked in. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast prepared by the chef (that we met) was really good. The staff took care in assisting us with the train schedules and general information for our stay. The young men of the team really made our stay enjoyable.
- Julie (10/5): A great hotel made even better by the wonderful staff - We went on a trip very early in the morning but the hotel very kindly made us a breakfast to take with us Nothing
- Sushmitha (10/5): Lovely property, extremely friendly and helpful staff, a must-choose stay! - Right from our welcome to the stay and food, everything was well taken care of and excellent! The manager and staff at the property were extremely hospitable and made our stay even more delightful. The Sri Lankan food that's served was also delicious and not to be missed! All in all, we loved everything about this stay. Totally recommend this to anyone looking to stay close to the city centre at Nuwara Eliya.
- Ekaterina (10/5): Peaceful - The calm atmosphere, lush green garden, and the charming hut create a picturesque setting. Waking up to the stunning sunrise against the mountain range was pure bliss. The hotel's comfort and attentive service made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat!

- Baldin (8/5): Very good -
- Tracey (7/5): Nice guest house & staff - Large spacious bedroom, very friendly staff, 5 minute walk to town, nice welcome coffee on arrival. Quite noisy & not very good Wi-Fi
- Royston (8/5): Very good - Very accomodating staff, excellent large rooms
- Rebecca (8/5): Close to town, good value for money. - Close to town, quiet, friendly staff. Good value for money. The shower should have a door! The room was also quite cold at night (nuwara eliya is not as warm as other parts of Sri Lanka). Breakfast not included which was a shame.
- Peiris (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is perfect Nothing
- Thilina (9/5): Superb - Location was very nice and close to the town , staff was very nice and friendly and was always wanting to help us with places to visit and arranging food ,
Overall a very nice experience Nothing to mention

The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access the town and nearby attractions. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, which I greatly appreciated. Moreover, the food was excellent, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful hospitality extended during my stay.

- Yelda (6/5): Okay for a short stay - -room is very clean comes with a heater but it was not enough for us due to rainy and cold weather.
-wifi working very well.
-staff is very helpful and attentive.
-location is close to grand hotel. You can take a tuktuk and experience high tea event in the grand hotel (which is a must).
-hot water was very good for the shower. -rooms are pulling the entire noises. We were disturbed alot during the night and early in the morning. We Barely slept.
-It was a windy and rainy night; our balcony door was shaking and making noises which was very uncomfortable to have a nice resting sleep. It was more like falling a sleep and waking up with a noise and repeat all night long. Hence felt like a nightmare.
-tv doesn’t have English channels
-breakfast is not tasty even tho staff is having very nice and presentable set of tableware and food pots.
- Sonya (9/5): Superb - Quiet area, very clean room Smell of strong chemicals in the room from cleaning. Made it hard to breathe for a while.
- Thalhath (8/5): Very good -
