Sleeping on the ground was a very pleasent experience as well. The stay itself was great but the checkin and checkout times were a bit so-so.

Mary (9/5): A lovely stayin the heart of the hanok district. - It was so much fine to stay in the heart of the hanok district, near the Gyeonggijeon palace complex and the lively weekend night market. The rooms are small, with comfortable sleeping mats. It’s probably not to everyone’s taste, but my companion and I slept beautifully. Above all, the owner/host was delightful. My friend speaks some Korean, which helps, but the welcome needed no translation (and Google Translate works well in Korea.) Again, some people might find the rooms small. Since I was only using it for sleeping, this was not an issue.

Lilia (8/5): Schönes Haus, leider kein guter Schlaf! - Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Zudem war das Häuschen im Hanok village sehr schön. Allerdings ist das schlafen auf dem Boden leider echt unbequem trotz des zweiten Bettes. Ich würde drei Nächte nie mehr buchen, evtl. Eine Nacht als Erfahrung mitnehmen und den Rest im Hotel übernachten. Das schlafen auf dem Boden ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und leider sehr unbequem, trotz zweiten Bettes. Die Bodenheizung hat entweder zu viel oder zu wenig geheizt. Entweder war es kochend heiss im Bett oder ganz kalt unter 18 grad. Beides für mich leider nicht gut und störend beim Schlaf.

Lo tiene todo muy bonito, son solo 5 habitaciones y es todo en un ambiente muy cercano, en Booking no pone que haya desayuno pero el dueño te prepara una bandejita con fruta y bizcochos para desayunar en el jardín. Si algún día sé de alguien que vaya a Jeonju le diré que venga a este sitio. Todo bien

Le logement est très propre, bien équipé et authentique. Il est bien situé et proche des endroits principaux de Hanok village. Il y avait assez de place dans la chambre pour 2 personnes. J’ai eu un check-in anticipé et un petit déjeuner, c’était très sympathique de leur part. ✨ Je vous recommande cet endroit!!

Svetlana (10/5): Authentic - Wonderful hanok house. The owner is such a sweetheart, always making sure that everything is going well with your stay and very fast to react. It is just important that one have the correct expectations about the setup in a classic hanok house. The space is limited inside so less luggage will help with that. Very clean, and I still can’t get over the baby powder scented bodywash and shampoo they provide.

Cristina (10/5): Hanok precioso y bien ubicado - El sitio es precioso y la persona que lo lleva es muy atenta y encantadora. El hanok está ubicado en el centro histórico y se puede recorrer todo andando. Experiencia muy buena para una noche. El baño un poco pequeño. Hay mosquitos. Y no ofrecen desayuno, al menos el día que estuvimos.

Mr. Li the host comes from a local Jeonju family of generations - he is kind, friendly, and provided us with many local recommendations. I highly recommend Hanok Hyejum!
Maria de los Angeles (10/5): Beautiful traditional room to experience Jeonju - We are deeply grateful to our hosts who welcomed us warmly and kindly, providing us with a traditional space to experience the Hanok houses in Jeonju. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with a refrigerator and a full bathroom, making our stay a pleasant and magical time, one in which we could almost be transported back in time. In addition, we enjoyed the recommendations our host, Mr. Lee, gave us to enjoy authentic traditional food, desserts, and iconic places in the city. Mr. Lee was always attentive to our needs and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Upon our arrival, he greeted us to help us with our luggage, and at the end of our stay, he accompanied us to the taxi to help us carry our luggage. It was a highly recommended experience that we will never forget and will always carry this beautiful experience in our hearts. Thank you to our hosts, may God bless you abundantly always.

Lil (9/5): Excellent hanok experience in a city that engages to go slow - Beautifully maintained hanok with friendly and welcoming English-speaking host Mr Lee (and his wife). Great location to explore the hanok village that offers much to do, steep in history and with excellent eats as well. Personally I enjoy sleeping on the futons, and the personal touch of mini breakfast was much appreciated. The room is on the cosy side. Mr Lee also helped calling a taxi for us to go to the bus terminal on the last day of our stay. For recharging, Jeonju is the right place to be. The bathroom is on the smaller side so may be a tad uncomfortable for travellers who are tall.
