Guest Reviews

- Niko (9/5): Super central apartment in the popular area Trastevere and close to the tram. - My friend arrived earlier and was able to pick up the keys by meeting the host.
The place is super central and close to the tram.
The place was clean and spacious.
There are two rooms available.
- Liz (8/5): Great option for a small family. Very near the main lively piazzas of Trastevere. - Cute and clean apartment in a great location overlooking pleasent streets of Trastevere. Proper and comfy fold out bed in living room. Good shower and a very quiet building despite lively restaurants below. It was great but be aware that the kitchen is tiny even though you probably won't be cooking!
- Susan (7/5): Convenient property in a great location - Locality was good and the property set up was generally good. The shower curtain could do with replacing as it detracted from the positives of the property. And whilst there was plenty of towels they were very tired.
- Giuseppina (7/5): -
- Edilson (10/5): Maravilha, Fantástico. - Da tranquilidade. Por não ter passado mais tempo.
- Harriett (5/5): Good location but lacks some essentials to make it an enjoyable stay - Great location within minutes walk to wonderful restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy etc. Upon arrival I was disappointed to see how dirty the property was, the floor was not clean, mould in the bathroom. The kitchen was not stocked with even basics such as oil or fry pan.
- Marie (7/5): An enjoyable stay in a 2 bed property close to restaurants and sights. - Good location in Trastevere. Excellent restaurants in street. Convenient shopping. The property is in need of some renovation. Bathroom sink cracked. Provision of kitchen towels for drying dishes. Furniture needing attention. A full length mirror would be a bonus.
- Agnieszka (5/5): Great location, but the apartment requires to be freshened up and deep cleaning. - The apartment is in an excellent location. Pictures do not reflect how the apartment looks in reality. It requires some freshen up, especially the bathroom. There was mold on the shower curtain, which I find unacceptable.
- Robert (6/5): Adequate but disappointing - Good location, restaurants and supermarkets nearby and bed ok Poor aspect looking into dismal courtyard and no sun. Furnishings basic. Tiny bathroom, only 1 square metre!
- Jeffery Dean (4/5): - We asked to get in earlier than anticipated and they agreed to let us in early which was fantastic He then showed us the circuit breakers because the power could go out. I thought great I have to worry about blowing circuit breakers, but I didn’t say anything as I’m trying to enjoy our family vacation. Fortunately the power never went out most of the hours of the days trying to make the most of Rome.
He then rushed us through the place like they just wanted to leave. No explanation how the oven top worked. So much for saving money cooking a meal at night. No telling us the front of the building had a huge door that got locked up at night but we figured it out after passing it couple of times so I let it go.
The sofa bed they pulled out for my son literally had the extension part fall the first time he went to bed so we told him to just sleep on the other side because it he’s small and I don’t like trying work with anything I’m unfamiliar with so we just left it alone. Again I didn’t want to get upset and ruin everyone’s vacation but it was clearly not setup properly before as my son is just under 100 pounds. There was a drying rack that didn’t work. Toaster had broken pieces but it worked, slowly. I know it’s not the owners fault but the upstairs neighbours regularly dragged around chairs between 1am and 5am waking me and my wife up every night. I was a little disappointed with this property considering the amount we paid.
- Jaana (8/5): Excellent accomodation - Great location, good communication with host. Clean appartment incl all essentiels. Quiet location, confortable beds. Nice café for breakfast just outside.
- Edna (7/5): Good - Property owner was responsive and helpful. It does not look like the pictures on the website, it is actually older and not very clean, however the beddings were clean. The toilet design is rather odd. The hooks are not reachable from the shower area and the radiator is dirty, so there is no way to hang our towels/ clothes. The hot water water was not enough for more than 2 people to shower after each other, we had to stagger our shower time a lot longer.
- Belinda (8/5): great rooms - hosts accommodating - and a great stay - location great for the food - next to public transport and very comfortable rooms -a little instructions especially on the stove would be advised, and an electric kettle was listed as part of the amenities but not provided until we requested and only on the third day....but other than that everything else was excellent hence the 8 points
- Janine (10/5): Loved Cosimato - the place was awesome! Great location! perfect for a family of 4 with older kids that can each have their own sleep area:) It took a long time for the host to meet us despite our communication. We had a super long travel day then had to wait 25 min outside to get in. but it worked out.
- Alesia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zsófia (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice location in Trastevere close to bars, shops and a short walk from the city centre. The apartment was well equipped, we even had coffee and tea in the kitchen cupboard. The air conditionner was fantastic in the summer heat although the apartment is already relatively cool without it as it looks on a court yard. There was a lot of noise from the other apartments at night (probably rented to groups of travelers).
- Kari (7/5): Good -
- Ruth (10/5): Fabulous property at a great price! - This property was very spacious. We never used the kitchen and it was quite small but it was what we needed. The bathroom was on the smaller side but made good use of the room that was available. Very up-to-date property and very clean. The beds were super comfortable! Having the washing machine really helped, along with a huge drying rack that we could put in the living room. The building itself was beautiful because it had a courtyard and on every level there were beautiful plants that made it feel like home. We loved being in a property that made us feel like we were part of it and not just staying in a hotel. Safe area too with lots going on and stores nearby. Best gelato down the street didn’t hurt! The air conditioning system was a little bit tricky. We had a hard time getting it regulated so we could sleep comfortably. There was no AC in our daughter’s bedroom, which was quite, quite small. We were lucky that it wasn’t very warm out and she could leave the window open at night. Also, a full length mirror (or any extra mirror with light above it and possibly an outlet nearby) helps when there’s only one bathroom and others need to get ready.
- Mark (10/5): Good Quality apartment - Good Quality good value apartment.
- Jim (9/5): Superb - Local market and restaurants Not close to Metro
- Verona (8/5): Very good -
- Kathryn (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Trestevere - San Cosimato House was a great place to stay and experience Roman life in Trestevere. We loved the local restaurants and wandering local streets. The location was central and we were able to walk to all sights. The accommodation was perfect, with room for a family of 4 and a quiet location.
- Vera (9/5): Clean and comfortable apartment - The apartment was spacious with all the facilities we needed. It was in quiet block on the 3rd floor. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was tiny but we didn't need to use it and the washing machine was ideal! Kettle was on an induction stove and difficult to use. An electric kettle would be easier.
- Rosella (9/5): Superb - Quaint apartment, well maintained. Had everything we needed.
The owner was quick to respond to whatever minor issue we had. The location was perfect for individuals or friends with no young children
The lovely restaurants in a truly trendy area, although delicious, have their patio seating on the street. With cars driving around in the area, it's not the safest area for kids. Cars don't really stop for anyone in Rome, so heading to constantly stop or move over while trying to enjoy an evening stroll wasn't the best.
This has nothing to do with the host or apartment, it's really a general overall comment on the Trastevere area.
- Suraj (8/5): Very good - Very clean apartment. Ac should be in the bedrooms rather than the salon.
- Mark (10/5): fantastic location and great apartment - fantastic location!! close to bus stop to get to centre although we walked it a few times as well. great little market out the front. right near the action but very very quiet.
- Chiara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Julie (9/5): SO MUCH FUN! So close to everything yet quiet for sleeping. - Comfortable and spacious for Rome. Excellent location, we walked everywhere and none of the major sites were more than 3km away (Vatican, Piazza Navona, Monti, Trevi, Pantheon) all walkable (we averaged 20km walking a day, so not for those who are not up to that). we LOVED Trastevere. Morning market with lovely produce, everyone was so friendly everywhere, the restaurants are amazing and the vibe is fun and relaxed. Check-in was easy and we were met onsite. Beds were very comfortable and teenagers each had there own bed. Kitchen is small but had everything we needed. Lots of room for 4 of us and location was ideal. We could not get the heat to work in the small bedroom, but this was only an issue on the first day as it was poor weather. The apartment overlooks a common courtyard with a dog that barks and families, which we could hear, however they were not loud past 10pm and we slept well.
- Marin (9/5): Superb - Very clean, comfy beds and great location. Wifi was working fine. They also allowed us to store the luggage on our departure date Bathroom is a bit small
- Chantal Bernadette Maria Gerrie (10/5): - Toplocatie, fijn appartement en 1 van de beste restaurants Rione 13 naast de deur. Tip van meerdere locals en superlekker eten.
- Fiona (7/5): Communication was great. We had a lovely stay in Rome. - The location was great and the size of the place is what we needed. There was very little hot water (used up by one person), 2 others had a luke warm and cold showers.
- Linda (9/5): Quiet, well equiped apartment in a brilliant location -
