- Lillian (8/5): Lovely hotel in fantastic location with great staff, only disappointment was the spa - Staff were fantastic and really helpful, beautiful hotel with beautiful large room over the river, location superb with just a few minutes walk from ski lift The spa was very unimpressive, with a small luke-warm pool and a tiny sauna that we had to wait outside for. Unfortunately not worth 20 euros per person.

The restaurant was closed so a table in the nearby and first rate Zam Tachji was booked for us - after aperitifs in the excellent An Bachsee Wi wine bar. This morning, we received excellent information about the weather and snow conditions on our walk to Rifugio Barba Ferrero. It’s a quiet season so I guess the breakfast isn’t their usual fayre. Coffee was great. Bread for toast could have been better and a better selection of dried meats. No eggs were available when I stayed.

- Jacob (2/5): rude staff + shady hotel that routinely moves customers to worse location because they overbook - the hotel moved us to another location which was old and far less nice for 2 nights because they overbooked their property. in exchange for the significant inconvenience they originally offered us a pizza! we felt very mistreated and let down by our experience at cristallo. we will not be returning

They went the extra mile for us, thoroughly recommend. -The facilities were great. (note its normal in ski resorts across Europe that these are charged extra; I didn't realise this, but this is the same everywhere) Nothing, everything was perfect.

- David (10/5): the place to stay in Alagna! - The posh alternative! Beautiful boutique hotel, exuding quality and comfort. Fantastic breakfast, great staff. Restaurant was closed in evenings however. We had been before so disappointed the restaurant was shut in evenings.
