- Lindsay (7/5): Cute hotel with nice amenities but room could be updated! - The hotel is a cute Hawaiian theme. The staff was very helpful and nice. The pool was heated and provided pool towels. It was windy so we did not use the beach but it was on the beach so it was very good location. They provided beach chairs to use and also provided bikes to ride around Wildwood. A pleasant stay for our weekend. The rooms are dated and bathroom is very small. The shower/bathtub was creaking every time some on would get a shower. Our suite had a bedroom with a queen and full size bed and a living area with a sleep sofa. We had 6 people but it was a little tight. No true balcony but the front had chairs which were angled towards to beach which was nice.

- Jeanette (1/5): Don't EVER stay here and don't use booking.com. - Nothing Our room was dirty and the air conditioner was broken. We were moved to the Icona. During our 4 night stay we were required to move to two rooms. Then we were told they did not have a reservation for our 4th night which meant we needed to leave our vacation a day early. The general manager, Joshua, said he would refund our 4th night since they didn't have a room for us. He also said he would refund our 3rd night for the inconvenience. We have yet to see the refund for the 3rd night despite being told we would. We spoke to Joshua once about a week after our visit and he said he was processing our refund. It's now a month later and we still have not received the refund despite emailing and calling. No one will return our call. This was THE WORST vacation my family has ever been on. Booking.com was absolutely zero help.

- Sandra (10/5): - This hotel is situated at the beach with a beautiful pool and comfortable outdoor seating areas. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
- LuAnn (10/5): - The oceanfront room with balcony was amazing. View was spectacular t
- Maria (8/5): - This will be the second time we stayed at this hotel. We love the proximity to the beach and Cape May. They provide you beach chairs and shuttle ride to Wildwood Boardwalk. The only thing we didn't like was there mattress. It was to soft for our liking. And while visiting this time there were a couple of shady characters hanging around where the storage room for the beach chairs. We were not sure if they were employees or guests but they were there every day. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at the Mahalo again.
- Anne and Bruce (10/5): My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much - super beach size; super clean; short walk to waters edge and very quiet and restful after labor dat nothing
- Robert Helen (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Stayed at MahaloThe place was clean, the staff was very helpful You walked out of your room ,the beach was right there. Went over to the Icona for breakfast
Which food was very good.. beautiful pool right outside of the dining room. We will definitely return next yest
- Mary Lynn (10/5): - Room was very clean. Beds comfortable. Pool nice. Needs some minor maintenence (exterior painying). They provide complimentary shuttle to boardwalk, pool towels, bikes and beach chairs. Staff very friendly.
- Malgorzata (8/5): - Will recommend to a friend.
- April M (10/5): Best hotel stay ever! - We had a beautiful view of the ocean on our private balcony, the room was amazing with a lot of storage and surface area for an extended stay! And being right on the beach is a huge plus 😍
- Janice (7/5): -
- Libby (10/5): - Location and pool Nothing
- Debra (10/5): - Very clean and beautifully decorated. We had a large vehicle and parking was a bit tough
- Amy (10/5): Beautiful property, comfortable and relaxing! - Beautiful room, amenities and location. Friendly staff. Everything about our visit was excellent!
- Kenneth (6/5): - The property was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Our room was incredibly small - definitely smaller than what we saw in the photos. You took two steps in and you hit the bed. There was an outlet in the bathroom, and in the main room there was one available outlet that had a light plugged into it. It was nearly impossible to charge anything. I don’t know that I’d stay there again.
- Mike (10/5): - Beach access
- john (3/5): - Close to ocean NO HOT WATER 3 NIGHTS IN A ROW 1ST ROOM SMELLED LIKE MOLD
- Margaret (10/5): An Amazing Place - This was my first visit to Mahalo Diamond Beach and it will now become my yearly get-away place. I absolutely LOVED it! It is right on the beach, the pool is heated for cooler days, they have a bathroom near the pool so you don't have to trudge back up to your room, they provide bicycles and a shuttle to and from the boardwalk. They have nice patio areas if you just want to sit outside and relax. Everything that makes for an easy and enjoyable stay! The staff was also extremely nice. I am so happy that I found this gem, next year can't come quick enough.
- Sunshine586823 (6/5): Overpriced for what you get - I expected more, considering the prices have practically tripled since it was taken over from the Regal four years ago. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work, the bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked, and there was no iron or ironing board in the room (there was when it was the Regal). They’ve also removed the mini kitchens in the room that used to have a full size fridge, mini stove and sink. Now it’s just a small fridge, microwave and Keurig. I just don’t understand why they would take amenities away that used to be available. With the prices they charge, they need to do better. I will say that the pool was well heated and there’s now a restroom available near the pool area so that you don’t have to go back up to your room to use a bathroom, which is a huge plus. However, they installed a very annoying and noisy waterfall that separates the shallow end from the deep end. It serves no purpose other than to irritate people. I just wasn’t as impressed as I thought I would be.
- JuanPablo (10/5): - La localización. Atención al cliente y comodidad Everything o.k
- verizon2 (6/5): Not a resort. More like a Holiday Inn. - Advertised as a resort. While it is oceanfront, it is far from a resort. There are no restaurants (although they pretend the restaurants that are two properties down are theirs). No spa, no hot tub (although the pool was very nice). Room was large, but the bathroom was VERY small. No ironing board or iron. Hotel has five floors and about 60 rooms, but one tiny elevator that the luggage cart barely fit in.
- Go644668 (8/5): Room for improvement - Reserved a king oceanfront studio for 2 nights. Room location was excellent as was the view. Room was ready when we arrived early. Room was clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, beach access and pool area were very nice. Parking was never a problem.
However, the bathroom was small- think cruiseship. The room phone didn’t work when I tried to call the front desk to report that we had no hot water. Called with my cell .Suffered through a cold shower as we had dinner reservations in Cape May. Upon exiting the building saw 2 plumbers vans and discovered that no one had hot water either. Received no apologies or compensation from management. Hot water returned later that night.
The room had only one source of artificial light which was a lamp on one side of the bed controlled by the lamp switch. No ceiling entry light. No desk light.Thermostat was difficult and luckily it was pleasant enough for me to turn it off and open the slider. Bathroom light and fan were on same switch and noisy. And the resort had only one small elevator.
On a positive note the sister hotel one building away had a great beach bar and a restaurant. We only had breakfast there but the food and service were very good and we could charge to our room.
- Ann (10/5): -
- Joana (8/5): -
- Claudia (10/5): - Amazing staff (thank you Erika!), fantastic location. Room was very clean. Would definitely come back.
- Juhee (8/5): - The hotel was right at the beach. The room was clean and spacious except bathroom. Bathroom was very small. Other than that, everything was good. Everyone working there is so nice. We loved the pool and sun deck also. The shuttle to Wildwood boardwalk was plus!
- Evert (8/5): Pensé que era mejor - La piscina Que solo es inglés, debería de ver una persona que habla idiomas
- Verified traveler (10/5): The Mahalo Diamond Beach - This hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The pool and the common areas were very clean and neat. The furniture and the buildings are in good condition. It was extremely pleasant to have spent the last week of the summer here.
We will definitely come back!!
- Bonnie (10/5): We had a great time, despite the weather. - The room was clean and comfortable, with 2 queen beds and a queen foldout couch. The foldout was surprisingly comfortable! Staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. Bathroom was a little small, but other than that the room was good for the 4 of us. The heated pool was a huge bonus. We were there during the approach of Hurricane Erin, so the surf was rough and the weather was cool and cloudy/rainy. Having a heated pool was fantastic. Bathroom was a little small.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Kick (6/5): - Distance to the beach was perfect. Pillows were good. Nice staff Rooms need updating. The bathroom was very tiny. The pull out couch (mattress) very old and uncomfortable.
- Simar (8/5): -
- Melanie (9/5): Relaxing in a perfect quiet location! - Room was clean, location was excellent! Quiet location with free shuttle service to boardwalk! Only one small elevator
- Mengshuang (7/5): Overall, a good place for family. - Staff are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. The pool is well maintained. Noticeable noise of a vent or machine at midnight at second floor. And closets at fifth floor are in poor condition.
- Jacqueline (7/5): Our visit to Wildwood Crest was nice but family preferred the Cape May location better - -motel is nicely decorated
-pool clean and never felt crowded
-rooms were spacious (separate bedroom is key)
-several outdoor deck spaces (great place to gather & play cards at night) -not enough luggage carts available (upon our arrival we waited a long time and still nothing- had to make several trips up & down to our room)
-no umbrellas (had to rent on beach $25/day and they took them at 4pm)
-no attendant to help lug all our stuff to beach. (Mahalo in Cape May offers this service plus free umbrellas too) - the walk to the beach is very, very far
-room never felt cool. We talked to many families and that was the common complaint.
- Tatiana (9/5): - Loved the close walk right to the beach.
Loved that rooms were cleaned EVERY SINGLE day .
Loved the cleanliness of the resort.
Love love that you can rent bikes AND chairs for the day !
Love that they have a list of activities to do with your kids / families right at the counter . Did not like that there is no cooking space .
Did not like the uncomfortable bed .
Did not like that we would set temperature to 65 (as low as is could go) and temp. Would read 72-75 at night making it very warm to sleep in some nights.
- Nick (6/5): Decent place. Close to the beach. Staff was friendly - Close to the beach Air conditioning didn’t work the whole stay. A portable AC unit was placed in our window for the time there. No credit for the inconvenience. The safe was locked and could not use it.
- Jamie (9/5): -
- Matt (10/5): - Highly Recommend, amazing experience!
- Hubay (9/5): -
- Miller (10/5): We had a great family vacations and the staff were polite, respectful, and professional. - The location of the facility was amazing. We were directly on the beach and our breeze was amazing. The facility provided bikes and beach chairs. The pool was clean and very nice. The pillows were a little hard.
- Josiel (10/5): - Everything the view the room the facility cleanses Parking
- Raimondo (7/5): - Location. Room was very clean. Pool area very clean. A little rough around the edges. Parking was a challenge in the covered area. Spaces were tight especially next to pillars.
- Aliza (8/5): - Excellent location- would be better if there was a restaurant on site. Also, room did not get cool enough. Furniture is somewhat dated and dirty. Pool was nice! Could get crowded though.
- Denise (9/5): Lovely get away - Updated rooms Did not serve hot tea
- Kristin (10/5): - This is a newer, small hotel with a perfect location to walk right onto the beach. Everything was clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay for a wildwood crest summer beach weekend.
- Shellion (8/5): - The property is beautiful we had a good time as a family. We stayed for 3 days, however there is only one elevator which is ridiculously slow and small so that was annoying. Also the bathroom is on the smaller side. There is no restaurant but there is a quick 3 minutes walk to Icona restaurant. It’s a beautiful hotel but needs some improvements.
- Danielle (10/5): - The resort was beautiful. Wonderful amenities. Staff was so kind and helpful, even let us check in early.
- Terantino (10/5): -
- Linda (10/5): - Property was well taken care of. Room was clean and staff is friendly and helpful.
- Samantha (10/5): -
- MIKE (2/5): - Our car was vandalized parked in their parking garage and they did absolutely nothing about it
- carol (10/5): - Beautiful property with exceptional staff. Love that they always have coffee!
- Susan (10/5): Mini Mahalo Paradise - Rooms are large; very comfortable. Walking distance to the beach. Close to restaurants and caters to lots of families. You can communicate with staff via text for amenities and they are one of the few hotels that make your bed every day! You will love it! Parking is tight, but apart from walking on the beach, you have the option of taking the shuttle to Wildwood. The shuttle is available from 9:00am every hour. From wildwood, the last shuttle leaves at 11:30pm. One elevator that is small, but it is nice to have the option to use.
- Ana Paula (10/5): -
- Abraham (8/5): - Standard beach hotel, dated and dusty.
- maryglenns2016 (4/5): Missing the mark - Weekend at Wildwood for beach blast soccer and picked this hotel rather than a closer boardwalk-oriented hotel for the added luxury. The reviews and pictures online seemed to justify the $650/night price. I was so disappointed in the quality and facilities. The entire hotel takes up such a tiny footprint and there are touches in decor here and there that made some attempts at luxury, but it just didn’t feel high end or quality. I felt cramped and inconvenienced the entire weekend while dealing with any part of the hotel. I did like some things about my visit. My favorite part was the easy walk straight to a lovely part of the beach but my trip was too short to take the most advantage of that. The property has a lot going for it in location. It’s in a quieter area and surrounded by more high end condos as well as a short walk down to the larger sister property, Icona. It also has next-door access to a cute coffee shop at The Grand which was yummy for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I will also shout out the great benefit of the shuttle for Mahalo and Icona properties that brings you back and forth to the convention center, we enjoyed the lovely driver we had both evenings who talked Phillies baseball with us. It’s inside the property where we’ve got problems. The property seemed to be trying to keep up appearances with the lobby’s first impression. Lobby had clean and relaxing decor, crisp and sufficiently air conditioned with that fancy hotel smell. Unfortunately, huge water stain on ceiling above the reception desk gave away what’s going on above the lobby. It’s a very very slow elevator for all trips up and down, unless you want to try to figure out where to get the stairs from the lobby, only access outside i think, but stairwell is HOT and unpleasant. Elevator is also hot and SO small. This seemed to create some real stress for everyone moving out on Sunday morning with their luggage. It was very claustrophobic. Everyone exits tiny elevator into tiny vestibule that opens onto very very narrow balconies where you snake along the sides of the building to get to the rooms. I did think that ocean view rooms with patio was described in my booking but what you get is a maybe 2-3 foot space outside the door facing the condos and condo parking lot of the property next door, you can see the ocean but it’s not your view even a little bit. Meanwhile people have to squeeze by your feet to get around to their rooms if you are sitting out there. No privacy and no view on my floor at least. There was always trash outside of people’s rooms, not really a lot of housekeeping observed around the property until Sunday morning when we were all squeezing around one another trying to move out and use these tiny balcony hallways and one tiny elevator. That’s when housekeeping was vacuuming and standing around waiting for everyone to leave so they could get in and clean, but really just not enough room for them in the halls and elevator at that time. Room was cleaned well and no complaints about housekeeping at all, they were just hard pressed to do their jobs with the layout of everything. The room was so small and had a musty smell, kind of reminiscent of previously being smoked in, but also could have just been damp carpet smell. I did have a major issue with the air-conditioning and asked that it be addressed by maintenance but not sure if they tried or not- the problem was not fixed. Thermostat was set to 68 and wouldn’t go any lower but also the temp never could get below 72. Not the worst temp, it was bearable although I like it cooler than that at night. The air was blowing constantly but not dehumidified. Down in the lobby it was perfect, up in my room it just felt damp and slightly too warm and musty. Very dark inside rooms as well which was not my impression of the photos online. The safe didn’t work and the TV and the phone didn’t work. Asked front desk and TV and phone did get fixed the next day. Some front desk staff okay, night staff not very understanding on Friday night at 10pm when I was asking how to fix the thermostat, “sorry, I am about to leave and then there will just be a security guard so you’ll have to wait until morning.” I just wanted to stay out of the room as much as possible as it was just not comfortable or luxury, the furniture was ok but carpeting made it more dark and musty, everything cramped, and I am not kidding the bathroom was the size you get in an RV, could barely turn around, rather gross shower/tub situation, and nowhere to use as counter space. Towels were nice though. Mattress was a bummer. Everything just looked like cheap decor covering up very dated and old building. Pool was small but seemed nice otherwise, nothing really luxury about it. I have definitely been way more satisfied by the average Marriott Courtyard off the highway, and this hotel sells itself as a resort offering luxury. Photos are misleading, if you are going to make such small spaces work you have to do it right, this just seems like a cosmetic cover up of an old motel.
- Matt (10/5): -
- Barbara J (10/5): Beach, pool, parking…easy to relax! - Beautiful location aside the beach, nicely designed, very clean & quite comfortable. My only negative was the bed pillows were too full & form & I suggested some flatter, softer pillows be made available. Just the pillows.
- -Son- Matthew Gierer (10/5): Had a great time and Greta stay - The pool was great. The room was clean and comfy. A little kitchenette would have been great. The bathroom was very tight.
- Krstovic (10/5): -
- K1278UOchristym (10/5): 5 outs 5 stars - Wonderful Stay at Mahalo Resort Wildwood Crest!
We had an amazing time at Mahalo Resort! The staff was so warm and welcoming, and the whole place had a relaxed, luxurious vibe. Our room was spotless and comfortable with beautiful beach views.
The pool area was peaceful and perfect for lounging, and pool fun. Everything felt thoughtful and well done.
Colleen the manager was great and very friendly!
We’re already planning to come back—highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Mahalo! 🌺🌴
- Christopher (9/5): -
- Alfred (4/5): - Bad service
- Shirley (10/5): Very nice hotel - Location and friendly people
- Annette (10/5): Awesome stay at Mahalo Diamond Resort - I love the atmosphere how everything was set up and how yhe guest was catered to. All needs and wants met. This couldn't be accomplished without your friendly staff. The room Thanks comfortable, access to the pool and beach really meant alot to me. I was able to enjoy both. . Thanks for making my weekend so perfect I wish I could stayed longer. The shuttle to the Broadwalk was perfect we didn't have to worry about having to move the car and forget it able to get there and return without any worries. I will love to return back next year. Thanks for making my stay so perfect I will never forget it. I have no comments I love every thing about my stay

- Bonsick (10/5): -
- Kalyn (10/5): We will be back! - One bedroom suite was the perfect size for a small family! We loved being right on the beach and parking was easy! NA
- Galadriel (8/5): -
- laila (9/5): -
- Ann Marie (10/5): - Great place ! Clean and well kept everything was perfect for our short stay
- Maryann (8/5): Great pool and beach location. Perfect for families - Pool was great. Seating and umbrellas as well as towels . Beach chairs and bikes were accessible.
Shuttle was a great perk. No restaurant. Only coffee. No tea or water in lobby.
Parking was limited. We had 2 cars because of kid schedules and timing and couldn’t park one easily
- Victoire (10/5): -
- Amber E. (8/5): - It was modern and clean. The parking was atrocious. Not nearly enough spaces. Also the pool floor and deck were very rough. Three out of seven of us ended up with foot/toe sores from scraping.
- Olshan (8/5): - Diamond Beach is a lovely place to visit for vacation.. The location is excellent, it is at far end of Wildwood and about 20 minutes from Cape May (both areas have restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. It was convenient to get to the beach .. I have previously stayed at the Icona hotel , and Mahalo is a sister to the original one. I guess I was expecting similar amenities, like the Icona. There is no restaurant, coffee shop, etc at this hotel . They do provide coffee in the am( at the front desk). The Icona Hotel, is not far . it's about a block away, with 2 restaurants, full service. Since ours was rehabilitated (?) hotel, the layout of our room was unusual. It said in brochure that our room slept 6...The problem for us was,the living room with a sleep sofa ,was quite large.and the bedroom , to sleep four persons, was very small! The beds were comfortable, but both of them had 1 side against the wall . That meant each time the person [ inner side] had disrupt the person in bed w them . Also, the four of us l couldn't be dressing , sitting, in the room at the same time. A very poor layout.
- Leah (10/5): We would stay here again! - The property was very clean and well decorated! The rooms were inviting and the beds were so comfortable. The air fresheners in the lobby were overwhelming. The one evening we went to the lobby to get snacks, we had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. The bathroom could have used a shelf to put things on.
- Lori (10/5): Super cute and right on the beach! - Super cute Polynesian-esque hotel literally on the beach in Wildwood. Loved the separate dining/den area. Bedroom had a door that shut. Only downside was the tv in the bedroom area didn’t work. You could get bikes for the boardwalk or sun chairs with towels for free from the hotel. Nice pool and little areas on the upper floors outside for lounging in the sun. It was really a very cute hotel. I would totally stay here again!
- Mayelyn (10/5): - Good
- Lorraine (9/5): Stay was great - Distance to the beach.
Close to attractions Had to drive for food, drinks and coffee.
Not in walking distance to attractions
- Debra (10/5): - The room and accommodations. The staff and cleanliness. Shuttle ride board walk. Check out late policy. Had to be out bt 10:30a on late check out.

Her quick responses and willingness to find a way for our party of 12 to all stay in the same property boosted our experience before we even arrived. The front desk team members, Adrianna and Rudy, were very helpful and clearly communicated when packages arrived for our team members.
- steveeQ5299PV (10/5): Mahalo, Diamond Peach A Real Beach Paradise! - Mahalo, Thank you for an Amazing Week! Big shout out to front desk Randy for going above and beyond everyday of our stay making sure all of our needs and other guests were met. Great Job. Manager Colleen thank you so much for sharing with me why the Culture of Icona and Mahalo resorts focuses on the guests experience. We stayed at the Icona for the first time last year and were curious to try Mahalo this year. Both great properties but Mahalo we loved ya more. We really loved the pool area, the available bikes for memorable rides and the big round lounge chair by the pool and the second floor was amazing to just sit back and relax. See what is so important as a guest is making new memories with our family with the time we have which is so precious to us. We loved going back and forth to the beach and pool. We loved hanging out in our spacious room and chilling with our kids and just relaxing in those great seating areas. See that’s Mahalo, more than a toom it’s about making memories with the ones you love the most! Manager Colleen, I commend you and your staff for showing my family what true hospitality is all about! Thank you Steve E.

A quick shout out to Adriana, and especially Erica who helped us multiple times and was so sweet and quick to resolve any of our " quirky " needs! Well done to all the staff who made our stay, albeit short, a truly pleasurable vacation.

- pasqualedP4166SB (10/5): Unforgettable Relaxing Vacation - My family of 4 just spent a week at Mahalo. Diamond Beach. The service was 5 star, everything from our check in at the front desk w Adrianna, to the attention giving by housekeeping to our extra requests, to the cleanliness of the pool, made for an u forgettable experience. The manager Colleen went out of her way to help us locate our daughter’s favorite doll that she left out by the pool, and got returned quickly to us. We will definitely make this hotel and chain part of yearly summer vacation planning going forward!!!!
