- Benjamin (10/5): - Hotel Pippa did a wonderful job at making us feel comfortable and welcome! The location was superb and the property was spotless. I plan on staying with them in the future!
- Dawson (9/5): -
- Linda (5/5): - The room on your website was the not the room we received your picture showed a blue sofa we did not get that room she said that was an upgrade . The bathroom was across the hall no counter space had to work off toilet seat😕. Breakfast & staff were great . They don’t know how to make drinks.
- Margaret (10/5): -
- Mary (9/5): Charming, sweet place to stay! -
- TRS5421 (6/5): A Few Things To Know Ahead of Time - I recently stayed at Hotel Pippa during Christmas Stroll. I know this is a crazy, busy time but there were things that made it not so great for the price we paid. There is a very small mention in Amenities that there is a bar attached to the hotel. It is literally several feet away from the check in lobby. It was so loud and noisy with singing, swearing, etc. I saw a couple with a baby checking in that first day and I can’t imagine that child slept at all. I asked about the noise and was told it would die down around “10 or 10:30”. The walls are very thin - you can hear someone sneezing, coughing and talking. Despite having the largest room in the hotel, the bathroom is absolutely tiny. The stairs are very steep, too. The place was immaculate, and located right in the middle of everything (maybe not so great for Stroll). People were very nice. I’m not sure I would stay there again, or maybe just not during Christmas Stroll.

- Kim (10/5): Excellent experience and great location - Breakfast was fantastic as were staff members Hotel guests were so noisy in the walls were paper thin. Thank goodness we brought the sound machine.
- mr905 (10/5): Wonderful stay - Great stay! Hotel is well located and close ferry, shopping, restaurants and anything else you need. You can easily stay here and not need to worry about renting a car. Rooms are small, but well appointed and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast included; breakfast area is small but there is outdoor seating in good weather. One note the rooms are spread over a couple of older buildings so the upper rooms can only be accessed by stairs, so if you have trouble with stairs try to book a lower room.

- Y124NUannem (10/5): Hotel Pippa - Great Stay and Great Location IN Town - Hotel Pippa is a perfect place to stay for a Nantucket Getaway! The staff were all welcoming and friendly! We stayed in two different rooms, and both were comfy! Their morning spread in the small bar is a great way to start the day, with overnight oats, fresh fruit and yogurt, croissants and jam! The hotel is a great location - in town, and you can easily walk to anywhere in town that you wish to visit. (Even if you want to go farther than town, it's close to the free bus that takes you to 'Sconset, Madaket and more!) Sadly, we had to cut our visit short by a day due to a pending Nor'easter that was headed to the Island, but Hotel Pippa gave us a credit to stay again for a future stay!
- Kara (10/5): - Great hotel and great location. Continental breakfast is included. For most rooms the bathroom is not in the room, but it is a private bathroom.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Room size may matter - We had a "Standard" room which was almost comically small. Entry door and bathroom door could not be opened without hitting the bed. That said, it was efficient and reasonably comfortable.
Continental breakfast had variety of options and was plentiful. Staff were all pleasant and very responsive.
Location was in the heart of the town with everything within walking distance.
- Diane (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay.
- Lauren (10/5): - We loved our 3 night stay at Hotel Pippa! The hotel was in a great location and walkable to lots of shopping, dining options and the ferry. The room was small but updated and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area, complimentary breakfast and beach towels/chairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We hope to be back in the future!
- Matt (10/5): Loved it! I’ll be back! - This place checks all the boxes! Excellent location, spacious rooms, nice bar area with great liquor choices, outdoor seating with heat lamps. Don’t bother over thinking it, just book your stay here!
- Rovik (9/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): - Loved the coziness and location of the hotel
- Ken (10/5): - Excellent place to stay. Wonderful staff!
- Debbie (10/5): - Wonderful boutique inn in a fantastic location downtown. Staff were were terrific. We arrived early and they invited us to hold our luggage and enjoy breakfast. It was nice having breakfast included: coffee, tea, juice, croissants and muffins, fresh fruit, hard boiled egg and yogurt and overnight oats with fruit.
A nice inside seating area and Avery nice outdoor area as well. You can have a glass a wine and relax there. Fire pits which we didn’t get a chance to use.
We were in Room 6. It was clean and had comfortable and attractive bedding, but it was very small. So small we didn’t have a place for our two carry-on bags so we swapped out a chair for a second luggage stand. The bathroom, shower, towels and amenities were good.
I would definitely stay here again. Aside from the size of the room, everything was perfect and again, the people who worked there made it feel special. Thank you.
- Salvatore (8/5): - Overall a great stay. Nice outdoor area
- Polly (9/5): -
- Susan (9/5): -
- Tricia (10/5): - We had a wonderful weekend at Hotel Pippa. The staff were accommodating, great location and the room was beautiful.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place in a nice location. The staff was very nice and accommodating . Very walkable to restaurants, bars and the whaling museum. Short walk from the ferry docks. The room was small, but we kind of knew about that ahead of time.
- Hareem (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and spacious rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure ok. Right in town. Nice to have a bar downstairs.
- Matt (10/5): - Room was very nice and the ac kept things cold. The only downside was the bathroom was across the hall.
- Matthew (10/5): - Great location and nice, upscale accommodations.
- Cynthia (10/5): - The location was central to everything and the room was very upscale. Staff were amazing and don’t miss a nightcap in the bar!! Dyson hairdryer a winner 😜
- Christopher (10/5): Great location, amazing staff. Loved the breakfast! - Location and staff. No hot water
- B226RJdavidc (10/5): Like Staying in Someone's Beautiful Nantucket Home - Staying at Hotel Pippa was like staying in a person's beautiful home. The decor is a perfect blend of high end design and warm/homey vibes. The energy of the place feels old, which makes one feel like they are experiencing something historial. At the same time, everything is updated, pristine, and crisp. For example, our room was on the third floor. As we climbed the stairs, I felt like I could get a sense of what is was like to live in this home many decades (or a century) earlier. When we entered the room, I smiled at the beauty of the furnishings (a fusion of modern and traditional), and how the owners somehow created a place where old and modern coexist harmoniously. It's like someone took a 4/5-star hotel room and reformed it to fit into an beautiful, old Nantucket home. The bathroom, for example, was stunning and modern. Also, the hotel is bright with gorgeous windows.
The people at Hotel Pippa are lovely. Kimone welcomed us when we arrived and she was always very helpful and warm when we passed through the lobby. My partner sat at the bar in the late afternoon while I was resting upstairs and he had a nice conversation with Heather. She even went out of her way to call the Wauwinet to see if their shuttle could pick us up for our dinner reservation.
Thank you, Hotel Pippa, for making our stay memorable.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - I thought the location was perfect. Accommodations were lovely. The breakfast was very inviting with the croissants and lite fare. We had a private bedroom a few ft down the hallway from our room. I felt uncomfortable unlocking the door during the night afraid the noise would disturb other guest.
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable.
- JodiBodi (10/5): I am so glad that we chose this wonderful hotel - We absolutely loved the Hotel Pippa! It was my first trip to Nantucket so I didn't understand how close everything in town was; the Pippa was so convenient to everything! But we loved the boutique feel; the staff was very friendly and being a smaller hotel, they had the time to engage with us and help with dining recommendations. They have a delightful patio and indoor area for breakfast and a relaxing glass of wine in the afternoon. I am so, so glad that we chose this wonderful hotel.
- alexander (10/5): - Great spring getaway. Perfect location. Nice breakfast.
- lorikI9234QS (10/5): Great Nantucket B&B - We had a great time at the Pippa Hotel during Daffadoli weekend. The location was amazing. The room was very clean, the staff (and other guest) were so friendly and very helpful. We ended each night with a great expresso martini at the cute little bar. We would definitely come back.
- Lori (6/5): - Great location for walking, but rooms are small. Breakfast was simple, croissants and yogurt. There were also ants in the room breakfast was served in.
- Clarissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roy (10/5): - We had to cancel our reservation due to a sererious illness Ty
- Judith (10/5): The best! - My sister and I took this trip together and we had a blast. This hotel was perfectly situated in the area we wanted to stay, everyone was kind, compassionate and welcoming. We felt like we made the best of friends. Clean, quaint, centrally located. We had a blast.
- Dakota (10/5): Hotel Pippa 10/10 - Hotel Pippa was super cozy and staff was phenomenal, definitely recommend especially for its convenience into town.
- LIZ (10/5): - We felt super at home and very comfortable. The main concierge took really good care of us. The breakfast is amazing!
- PETER (10/5): - Historical construction, random width pine flooring and feel for history
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- dianebX3951PD (10/5): Really cute little hotel! - Nice hotel. Very clean!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Asta was the absolute friendliest, sweetest person! She was always around to help - from breakfast to checking in!! She made our experience even better!
- Jacqueline (10/5): - I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was kind and helpful. I was aware our room would be small but the bathroom was tiny. I am petite so I found it adorable, my husband found it interesting. I would stay there again.
- DTayl0r_86 (10/5): Low-Key, Central, Comfortable, Clean - Clean, comfortable, efficient, with attentive and friendly staff in a low-key central location in the village. Large, comfortable beds, big TV, good water pressure, and a simple breakfast is all you need for a good rest. Plus they have a small bar and everyone is super friendly. We’ll come back to this place.
- Marcela (10/5): - This property is cozy and quaint. The staff went above and beyond securing my bike rental and coordinating everything. Breakfast included and it was quite delicious
- Guy (10/5): - Nice place. Older but still upscale. Staff was outstanding. Nice breakfast. Convenient to everything.
- kurita (10/5): - N/A
- Katherine (10/5): - Hotel Pippa was a delight! Close to everywhere you want to be! Great experience
- Thomas (10/5): - Bathroom was very small. Will go with the larger king room next time
- Laura (10/5): - Staff was super friendly
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (8/5): Very good - The staff was great. The breakfast was good but it was the same offering every day. The location is great! The facilities are nice but there are only stairs (which is difficult with luggage) and the rooms are SMALL!!! Their outside seating area is a highlight.
- Michael (10/5): - Amazing hotel, very sheik, courteous staff!
- Tammy (8/5): - Our bathroom # 5 had no exhaust fan. No mirror other than bathroom, which is hard for another person to get ready. One night music was loud after 10:30 pm
- Michael (6/5): - Great location. Overpriced for a room with a detached bathroom. Staff were nice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Walk to beaches, restaurants, and stores
- McMaster4004 (10/5): Absolute Gem - Loved Hotel Pippa! Central location, historical charm, design savvy, and better amenities than expected (Dyson hairdryer!). Incredible florals and concierge Heather went above and beyond Nantucket’s already disarming hospitality. If stairs are an issue book a lower floor. A charming courtyard divides the two historical homes and serves as a sweet spot for a sneaky cocktail.
- Teja (4/5): Very disappointing room. Nice staff. Excellent breakfasts. - Great location. Nice staff. Tiny room. Very disappointing. Not "Luxury" room at all. Attic - could not stand up. No storage for clothes. Difficult to get into the bed because of closeness to the walls and low ceilings. Disappointing.
- Cassia (5/5): Lovely location, overpriced offering. - Staff were warm and helpful, if not always present. There’s a nice seating area in a courtyard that is comfortable and good for getting a drink in the evening. Our room was tiny. It didn’t even have a wardrobe or anywhere to hang our clothes properly, bar some hooks on the wall. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the key system is ungainly.
- Bizzozero (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional - My sister and I spent five nights at Hotel Pippa and had a wonderful time! The staff was the best! They helped us plan activities and made dinner reservations for us. Breakfast every morning was delicious and we enjoyed eating and having a glass of wine in the courtyard. Hotel Pippa was in the perfect location and we walked everywhere!
We loved it!!!!
- Charles (10/5): - We loved Hotel Pippa. Wonderful, helpful staff. We especially loved the terrace between the two buildings where we enjoyed breakfast each morning and a glass of wine in the late afternoon. The only thing that could be improved: stronger coffee for the otherwise excellent continental breakfast.
- Dale (8/5): Very good -
- Fallon (9/5): Superb -
- brian (10/5): - working shower
- Jon (10/5): - Property and staff were great. Clean and super attentive. Highly reccomend
- Johalifax (8/5): A chic boutique hotel in the heart of the Town - The breakfast was very good continental style - excellent croissants & pains au chocolat.
Heather and her co-worker (Asta?) did a wonderful job with everything from helping with our bags to sorting a clogged sink to keeping the coffee flowing.
Our room was light, airy, and bright.
The location is excellent – just a few minutes walk from the ferry, but away from the main bars/traffic blocks. The bathroom could use more hooks or shelves; we were very tight on space.
I expected a small room, but ours verged on cramped, without enough space for two chairs. We would have liked to be able to sit down simultaneously! Accommodation prices on Nantucket are ridiculous, but even given that, for the cost I would have hoped for slightly more elbow room.
I would suggest building in a small hanging closet, or getting a slim IKEA armoire; I found the open hanging rack jarring against the pleasant minimalist decor.
- JOHN (10/5): Love This Place!! - Amazing property & staff. Planning our return already!!!
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (9/5): Superb - Excellent location in the center of town
A light breakfast to start the day was enjoyable
