- Everett (10/5): - Review for Aparta Hotel Azzurra, Boca Chica I had a nice stay at Aparta Hotel Azzurra. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, which made the experience feel welcoming. My room was clean and conveniently located just a few steps from the pool — a definite plus. The only downside was the lack of WiFi, which would have made the stay even better. Overall, a cool and relaxing spot in Boca Chica.

- Manfred (10/5): Empfehlenswertes, einfaches sauberes Hotel zentral - Sehr gut gelegenes, (10 min vom Flughafen mit Taxi), Strand mit zahlreichen landestypischen Lokalen/Bars zu Fuß 3 Minuten, Supermarkt in 5 min Entfernung. Einfache Einrichtung mit allem Erforderlichen, sauber, Frühstücksauswahl verschiedener Eiergerichte oder auch Süßspeisen, immer mit Früchteteller. Lokale Busse mit Bedarfshalt nach Santo Domingo und Busbahnhof Los Americanas an der nächsten Querstraße. Betreiber ist steht‘s erfolgreich bemüht alle Wünsche und Fragen zu erfüllen. Insofern gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

I’m US I probably would have a solid case for an injury lawsuit- but instead I had to pay to replace a chair that couldn’t have been any less than 20 years old.

The free breakfast is most appreciated and good option choices to choose from. Balcony was also lovely extra besides outside pool. Shower has also warm water being very nice and comfortable.

The front desk staff are not helpful at all. The rooms are not that new or great. The AC is very low and cannot be adjusted. Do not stay more than two days max.

The staff was nice except for one front desk female who was not friendly at all. She did her job but she wasn’t a front desk person at all. The pool got a little noisy but it ended early enough to sleep. Overall great stay.

- Anabella (2/5): REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE - Me and my husband stayed here our last night in DR. We were looking for a short stay near the airport. Checking in at 6:00pm and leaving at 3:00am for our flight. We wanted to save money and this looked from the pictures like it could be decent. It was AWFUL. It was not safe, they only took cash, the area was completely deserted and had very little dining options. To top it all off no Ubers would do pick ups here so we got a taxi through the hotel. It was very close to the airport, the hotel said the taxi would be very little... The Taxi driver refused to share the price and kept saying don't worry it's a little you have enough... Then he proceeded to charge us $40 US DOLLARS for a 2 mile ride... Save yourself the hassle, spend a little more, and DO NOT STAY HERE.

- Christopher (8/5): Walking distance to the beach and area - We arrived late into our hotel because our flight arrived late. Checked in the hotel at 11 p.m. and had no issues checking in. The front desk doesn't really speak very good English but I already downloaded "Google Translate" on my phone and if I had a question I just typed it on my phone and it would translate it to Spanish. We got situated in our room which had 3 double beds. The room was clean. We only stayed one night which is what I would recommend. Our room did have a small kitchenet off the room which was a plus but we didn't use it. The only downfall was the bathroom drain in the shower didn't really drain properly. If you are staying for one night, it is fine but longer I would not recommend. We did have the continental breakfast which was really good. They were friendly and curious regardless of the small language barrier. It is defiantly one of the nicer hotels in that area. Every other hotel/apartment isn't as nice as this one. I would come back if it was just for one night. We transferred to our resort the next day. Check out was a breeze and thank you again for a great short stay! PS If you don't get a Wifi code during check in, you can ask the front desk. I had to ask with Google Translate but they understood what I was asking.

The owner does not have great skills of communication, we spoke to him when we got there and he barely responded in a rude and careless way. Then he made us wait for his assistant which was adorable! If it wasn't for her we wouldn't have stayed. The location is great, however we didn't know what we were getting into, when visiting Boca Chica. There is sooo much prostitution that it makes you not to want to come back. Going back to the hotel, I will never return there. We where going to leave after we paid because the room that they assigned us was dirty, stinky and no air conditioner. Then we where shown a second room which was slightly better but since It was 3 of us, we didn't stay. At last they assigned us an ''ok'' room, with A/C and much cleaner aspect. Breakfast was a mission, but we didn't get food poison so I guess it wasn't that bad. Everything is out dated and dirty. DO NOT VISIT!
