Der Parkplatz reichte gerade mal für 2 Tuk Tuks. Vom Blick auf die Stadt keine Spur. Wir haben uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht Die Bilder passen nicht mehr zum aktuellen Stand.
• Miles (10/5): Einer meiner Favorits der Reise ! - Obwohl wir spät ankamen wurde sich gut um uns gekümmert. Es gab Tee zum ankommen und die Dachterrasse ist unbeschreiblich schön sowie der Ausblick. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit blick fürs Detail. Frühstück war ein Schmaus. Köstlich Früchte und Kaffee und was das Herz sonst noch so begehrt. Wirklich liebevolle Menschen, ein Ort zum wohlfühlen!

It's run by lovely people who always help with everything - delicious meals on the beautiful roof terrace,, transport, advice about Kandy etc. The rooms were really nice (clean and comfortable and quiet) and the whole place has a wonderful atmosphere. The location is great for the views and very easy for getting around Kandy. It's terrific value and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.

• Moe (10/5): 大好きなホテルになりました。今回は一泊しかできませんでしたが、また泊まりに来たいです！ - ホテルに着くと、まずその外観の可愛さに心が躍ります。すぐに優しいお母さんがお出迎えしてくれて、美味しい紅茶を入れてくれました。食事の場所は景色がよく、内装も映えてすごくいい場所です。 部屋も可愛く、ベッドはふかふか、何よりシャワーがスリランカで泊まった宿で1番温かかったです。経営している家族の方々は皆さんとても親切で、いつも優しい笑顔を向けてくれます。 キャンディの都心部から少し坂を登ったところにあるので、歩いて向かうと若干疲れますが徒歩圏内で立地もいいです。少し離れるおかげで静かでゆったり過ごせます。 朝食はフレッシュなフルーツにジュース、パン、卵と紅茶と盛り沢山で、美味しくてついパンをおかわりしてしまいました。

• robin (9/5): great breakfast, beautiful terrace. super staff. - We stayed 2 nights with our 12 year old son. We felt very welcome by our hosts. The place is quiet with an amazing view from the room and the terrace where a wonderful breakfast was served. It is only 5 min by tuk tuk to reach the center of the city ( Tooth Temple/ lake/ Big Buddha temple ). Rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained and furnished. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war sehr schön und es wurde sogar extra vegane Optionen z.B für Milch organisiert. Auch das Abendessen ist nur zu empfehlen und eins der besten die wir auf unsere Reise hatten.

Breakfast ( 4 courses!) was different and delicious every day . We ate there twice in the evening aswell and had the best curry I've had so far in Sri Lanka! The owners were very helpful and answered all our queries, organised a car to take us to NuwaraEllia and even did our laundry inhouse. Can't fault this place and would recommend it to everyone. • D'Imperio (8/5): - Ci sono stato solo una notte, mi è sembrato un buon posto pulito dove alloggiare anche più giorni. Ma attenzione alla posizione, per quanto siano solo 5/600 metri dal centro vi servirebbe comunque un tuk tuk per muovervi per via della strada molto ripida e poco illuminata. Io l’ho fatta a piedi di sera e non vi consiglio di fare lo stesso. Colazione ottima, preparata al momento.

Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse est très agréable, et la nourriture délicieuse et copieuse. Possibilité de dîner sur place, pratique car l'hôtel est un peu excentré. Établissement à recommander, très bon rapport qualité prix ! Un peu bruyant car nous étions dans la chambre à l'entrée, mais cela ne nous a pas énormément gênés.

El personal es super amable, mi omitió comentar que es gluten free y no hubo problema en adaptar el desayuno. No ayudaron mucho, aconsejando sobre remedios naturales por el resfriado. Wasanthi nos ha explicado y atendido estupendamente al igual que Gayan siempre con una sonrisa y también los otros chicos muy amables y alegres. No dudes en acudir a ellos sin necesitas algo. Destaca también el lugar en sí muy limpio, muy bien decirados: plantas, muy linda energía. Se come muy bien y abundante. La verdad que no podría recomendar hotel mejor que este!!! Gracias por todo :)

Great breakfast and dinner. What really set our stay apart was the kindness of the hosts. We arrived in Kandy late at night because my wife was sick and needed to go to the hospital. I ended up staying at the hospital with her the first night. The hotel let me change our dates and didn’t charge me for that first night I had booked. When my wife was out of the hospital and back at the hotel they were so kind and gave her coconut juice to help her get better.

Konum olarak da gayet tatmin edici. Tren istasyonuna ve merkeze yürüme mesafesinde. Kahvaltısı gayet yeterli ve güzel. Çalışanlar çok kibar. Tesisten çıkış yaparken fiyatla ilgili bir problem yaşadık ama hiç diretmeden bizim lehimize sorunu çözüp problemi ortadan kaldırdılar. Bir daha gelsem burayı tercih eder miyim? Kesinlikle! Son olarak bizimle sürekli ilgilenen, sorularımıza kibarlıkla cevap veren Dayan'a teşekkür ederim. Bu tesisle ilgili olumsuz herhangi bir deneyimim olmadı. Her şey tam olarak beklediğim şekildeydi.

We really enjoyed our 4 nights here. Wasanthi, Gayan, and Sachi were really helpful and full of smiles. Wasanthi even got brown bread for me for breakfasts (diabetic). Communication was easy. Although within walking distance to the lake and Kandy Centre, the hotel is surrounded by greenery and quiet. It was great to “come home to” after a day’s tourism. The food was excellent, and eating on the roof a treat. We really appreciated the mid-stay change of towels and room clean.

Hiukan kaukana keskustasta. Erittäin jyrkkä mäki majoituspaikkaan. Sen kiipeäminen ja myös jyrkät portaat ravintolaan haasteellisia, jos liikuntakyky rajoittunut. Minulle ei ongelma. Ei omaa, eristettyä parveketta. Ikkunoista ei nähnyt ulos. Pihalta kuuluvat lähtevät kuljetukset ja koirien räksytys herättivät aikaisin. Aamiaiselle tulo-aika piti ilmoittaa etukäteen. Varauksessa kerrottiin, että mastercard-kortit käyvät. Varmistin asian vielä edellispäivänä. Joten en ollut nostanut riittävästi käteistä Kortit eivät kuitenkaan käyneet. Lukuisia yrityksiä 2 eri kortilla. Varattu kuljettajani jo odotti. Majoituspaikat Sri Lankassa hyväksyvät myös dollareita. Niitä minulla oli, mutta nekään eivät käyneet. Omistajan mukaan setelit liian pieniä ja osa "vanhentuneita." Olin kuitenkin vaihtanut ne 4 pv aiemmin virallisella rahanvaihtopisteellä lentokentällä. Piti siis lähteä kuljettajan kanssa hakemaan lisää rahaa. 1. automaatti ei toiminut. Onneksi kuljettaja oli kärsivällinen.

• Amy (8/5): Great stay and would stay again - The property was very clean and organised. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and food for dinner was excellent and very tasty. Nothing really. The room did not have a fridge but other than that it was a very nice hotel.

• Godfried (10/5): Super tranquil and relaxing place - Absolutely super tranquil and wonderful place! I stayed for 3 nights and loved every moment. The rooms with balconies are incredibly peaceful and relaxing—such a perfect escape after the noise and pollution of Kandy city. They have an outstanding cook, and the rice and curry dish was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I never went into town for dinner! I am lactose intolerant, and the manager went above and beyond by going into town especially to buy me soya milk. Truly exceptional hospitality!
• Marie (7/5): Fine but extremely noisy. - Nice staff and clean room Extremely noisy at night with the dogs barking non stop from the police training school. Plus, there was no curtain in one of the window so the sun came in early morning. Breakfast is ok but expensive

• Jimbert (9/5): Rundum super, ich würde gerne wiederkommen. - Sehr gutes Frühstück auf Dachterrasse. Sehr nettes Personal, zusätzlicher Schluck Milch für meinen Bioinstantkaffee am Abend war z. B. kein Problem. Zimmer geräumig mit Wasserkocher, Leselampen am Bett (abends nämlich besser Buch statt Smartphone) und toller Aussicht vom Zimmer über angrenzenden Gemeinschaftsbalkon. Etwas am Rande der Stadt auf Anhöhe gelegen, für sportliche Reisende (wie mich) jedoch kein Problem, dadurch auch ruhiger. Kein Moskitoschutz.
