- Andrew (6/5): - Great location, easy walk to shops and beach Shower was very low pressure. No extract fan. Window latches broken and not secure. Poor lighting over kitchen Coffee was only plunger, could have had instant coffee for convenience. No salt and pepper. TV placement was useless too watch comfortably. TV only had adps so this was annoying to watch as the internet was slow and kept stopping.

- Stephanie (8/5): Cosy and perfect place to stay for a short trip to the beach town - The location is perfect for a quick stay in Whangamata. Walking distance to the beach and the main strip of shops and cafes. Very clean and tidy. Perfect amount of room for a couple. The only thing that was a bit weird was they didn’t provide any soap, only shampoo & conditioner. I would have preferred soap in the shower. They also only give you one rubbish bag. So we had to buy some more. Other than that, no complaints about our stay :)

- O`grady (2/5): Very poor - My Partner went to use the Bathroom Toilet An Shower, She yelled an said have a look at this, Firstly there was stale old poo marks in an under toilet Lip absolutely yukky, Then looked at the shower and OMG it was Absolutely Filthy, Tracey wouldn't use either loo or Shower , so we went out an bought cleaner an chux clothes came back to Hotel and i clean Shower mould hanging off shower bloody Disgusting, Shower floor around drain again Bloody shocking with Photos before i cleaned and after. Now the Kitchen Part OMG Filthy Also around sink an around tops of Tiles. we paid so very much for the three nights absolutely Ripped.

- Dan (6/5): Although a good location, I’ll probably avoid it next time. - On the whole, a comfortable studio, located at 10min walking distance of the center of the town and 8 min of the beach. Expensive for what the studio actually is: a cabin, camping-like, built on a concrete parking in the backyard of the main building, with a view at a fence. The pictures give the impression that the studio is located within the beautiful main building. My error, or misleading?
- Peter (7/5): Great location and clean room. Rooms are modern but old joinery could do with some maintenance. - Walking distance to beach and town centre. We had seen this house for the last fifteen years so were looking forward to stay Ranch slider to room kept getting stuck making it hard to open the door. Needs new rollers. Latch on window joinery by bed didn’t work so hard to lock window. Window was open when we got there and wife could close but could not move latch and lock. Latch is corroded so new window latch would fix. Nails starting to come up on the deck need to be hammered down.

We unfortunately only stayed for a night but the spacious closet and kitchenette would make this a great place for a longer stay. Great location close to downtown area and beaches. We arrived at night so it was hard to find the small sign out front to make sure we knew where we were going. The driveway to the back is very narrow and outside wasn’t well lit so we had to use flashlights to navigate entering our room. Shower could use some extra cleaning or updating.

There were ants all over the toiletpaper and wall in the bathroom. The bathroom was a bit small and no extractor fan so everything gets wet and moisture drips from the door frame after you've showered.
