• AleksandraSaja (6/5): Overpriced for the condition - We stayed in a Premium Igloo. The heating is very good, which is definitely a plus in this type of accommodation. However, the overall condition does not match the price or category. Apart from the photogenic corner with the bed under the glass roof, the place feels quite old, worn out, and in need of renovation. Even the mattresses on all three beds were noticeably thinner than in any accommodation we’ve stayed in before, which made them uncomfortable. A pleasant surprise was that a main course for dinner was included in the price, which we were not aware of when booking. There are also children’s sleds available to use free of charge. Overall, this is not a place we would return to.

Beautiful in-room sauna, but it did take a while to heat up to my preferred temperature. Great breakfast and restaurant was nice. Location is top tier - easy walk to Christmas Village.

• 4evaLuv-Holidays (8/5): Great experience, room for improvement - Our checkin experience was excellent. Lots of info given by the man that attended to us. The igloo is comfortable and quiet. There is a bar fridge, kettle, heated ceiling and floor throughout. We didn’t use the aircon due to the heat from the floor and ceiling. Unfortunately the “fur” blanket placed across the end of the bed was dirty top side and underneath! Disappointing, especially as it is not cheap accommodation. The bathroom was a good size, but has a design fail as the water runs all over the floor when you shower. Unavoidable. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. We also enjoyed dinner at their restaurant one night. Lovely efficient friendly service. Easy walk to Santa’s Village. Overall I would recommend staying here, great experience and convenient location to the Village.
• Vijay (9/5): Pricey but Truly Worth It – Magical Igloo Experience - A bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth the experience. The igloos were spacious, comfortable, and well-designed, making the stay both unique and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast spread was great with plenty of options. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary main course for dinner, which was a nice added touch. The highlight of our stay was being able to see the Northern Lights right from our igloo on the second night, an unforgettable and magical experience. Overall, a once-in-a-lifetime stay that I would highly recommend. It would be better if they had buggy to transport guest from igloos to the main reception building. Currently they only have buggy to transport luggage.

Chef prepared us a breakfast box as we were checking out early. Only problem was water from shower was flowing towards toilet.
• Mobile10687070774 (2/5): Disappointing Stay & Unresponsive Management! - My wife and I had a truly disappointing New Year's Eve stay at Santa's Igloos Arctic Circle on December 31, 2025. We experienced discriminatory treatment at the Arctic Eye Restaurant and significant discomfort in our cold Room due to a locked thermostat and lack of information. We filed a formal complaint on January 9, 2026, detailing these serious service failures. While we received an initial apology and a promise for a thorough investigation on January 12, it has now been months, and despite our follow-up on February 4, 2026, we have received absolutely no substantive response or investigation report from the hotel management. This complete lack of follow-up demonstrates a profound disregard for guest concerns and a failure to stand by their initial promises. A truly memorable stay, but for all the wrong reasons, made worse by management's silence. Choose this hotel at your own risk if you value customer service and accountability.

• Can (10/5): An unforgettable stay - We had such a great stay at Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to Santa Claus Village, which made everything super easy and convenient. The room itself was amazing, especially the glass roof which made the whole experience feel really special. The sauna was great and perfect after a long day out in the cold. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and dinner was also really impressive, especially with the complimentary main course. Overall, a fantastic experience that we’d definitely recommend. Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like during our stay.

• JOe-Paula2014 (8/5): Santa's Igloos are on not on the "naughty list!" - This 3 night stay was part of a tour package and we loved it. The "igloo" is small and quaint but acceptable. Some reviews complain about the 20 minutes of hot water before it renews but we didn't see an issue with it. Two people can shower separately and get things done. If you go in winter, I would advice taking some sort of spikes for your boots to get back and forth to the restaurant. We just returned March 12-14 and the entire place was very icy. Breakfast is plentiful and a few days they had fried eggs available. Dinner was delicious both nights. Some packages include a dinner "main item" so be prepared if you have any apps, sides, or desserts. It is short walk to Santa's Village and all it has to offer and the Musher's Tavern is even closer. Overall, we are glad we got to experience it

Yattığımız yerden yıldızları izlememiz muhteşemdi, bavullarımızın taşınması için araç temin etmeleri çok yardımcı oldu. Odada sauna olması zaten en sevdiğimiz şey oldu, kahvaltısı çok iyiydi eşim Marc donutlara bayıldı ve kahvaltıda Türk yoğurt olması, yoğurdun Yunanistan’dan geldiğini düşünen eşim için yoğurdun Türkiye’den olduğunun kanıtı oldu:) Biz burayı canım bitanem eşim Marc’la çok sevdik Bir hayvansever olarak odada ren geyiği postu görmek ve kahvaltı masalarında gerçek olduğunu söyledikleri ren geyiği boynuzu görmek beni üzdü. Keşke dünyayı değiştirebilsem bu konuda ama bu imkansız. Bu yüzden puan kırmak haksızlık olurdu .. Gerçek hayvansever bir dünya diliyorum

• mina (10/5): キートス！！ - プライベートサウナ最高でした！ 部屋から出て雪へダイブ！整いました。 オーロラは天候が悪く見れませんでしたが，サウナとサンタ村でのアクティビティが楽しめて充実した1日になりました。 チェックインの予定時刻前にかなり早く着きましたが、タイミングが良かったのかチェックインの準備が整っていたためすぐご案内してくれました。 スタッフさんもすごく優しかったです。 またこちらのサイトで朝食付きプランを予約しましたが、なんとディナーまでついてきました！とても美味しかったです！ とてもいいホテルでした。 欲をいえば サンタ村インフォメーションからは徒歩20分ほどかかるため、雪道のなかキャリーケースを運ぶのは大変でした。 事前に自分が調べておけばよかったことですが、案内があると嬉しかったです。

• Kim (10/5): Schönes Erlebnis. Etwas zu teuer - Die Igloos sind einfach schön um in die Natur zu schauen. Wir hatten eines direkt am Wald. Weiter drin wäre es weniger schön gewesen. Die Sauna im Zimmer war auch sehr nett. Bein Einchecken erfuhren wir das ein Hauptgericht im Restaurant inkl ist. Wir haben gelernt das es dort eigentlich nie Auroras gibt weil viel zu viel Licht überall ist. Eine Igloo Übernachtung ist trotzdem ein Erlebnis

• Jean-Loup (9/5): De merveilleux igloos confortables et très bien placés, un lieu idéal pour les aurores boréales - Igloo très confortables et bien chauffés, sauna très spacieux, restaurant délicieux, personnel agréable et toujours disponible. Et une alerte aurore qui réveille au milieu de la nuit (que l'on peut désactiver bien sûr) pour nous permettre de voir des aurores. Grâce à cela, nous avons pu voir une magnifique aurore depuis notre lit. Le système de chauffage faisait des bips, qui ont été corrigés par une intervention technique, mais sont revenus la dernière nuit.

• esen (10/5): Güzel bir iglo deneyimi - Orada konakladığımız Tek bir gece olmasına rağmen çok güzeldi. Akşam yemeğinde bir ana yemek Fiyata dahil, bunu otele vardığınızda öğreniyorsunuz. Ayrıca yemekler gerçekten çok lezzetli. Kahvaltısı ise muhteşem. Tabi ki bir Türk olarak memnun edecek bir peynir yok ama diğer her şey peynirin eksikliğini kapatıyor. İglo tarzı Odalar gayet keyifli. Sadece oda sıcaklığını tam olarak istediğiniz gibi ayarlayamıyorsunuz. Konakladığımız gece Doğumgünüm olduğu odaya ikram olarak köpüklü şarap (cava) göndermişler. Bu jestleriyle ayrıca gönül fethettiler. Sevmediğimiz hiçbir şey olmadı.
• O745WTbryans (4/5): Not worth the cost - Everything great about this stay had nothing to do with the hotel. It’s a beautiful area and I recommend visiting, but there are more hotels than activities in the area at much better value. We had less than 20 minutes of hot water at any given time and there is no door on the shower. So they provide a squeegee for you to pull all of the water back into the shower since it just pools on the floor. The basic instant coffee and hot cocoa were not stocked the first 2 days and we had to ask to get them. Upon check in we were told breakfast and dinner were included. Upon checkout, we were charged for the sides and desserts. Only the main courses were included. Both times we had dinner, we were at our table for 30 minutes after eating and no one brought us the bill. We visited during the off season, the dining room was never very full and from what we could see, a lot of the rooms were empty during our stay. The hotel’s amenities and services were less than you would find at your average Marriott or Hilton.

Odamızdan kuzey ışıklarının çok net bir şekilde gördük. Odanın sıcaklığı gayet iyiydi. Oda da kettle ve saç kurutma makinesi vardı. Hem Aktivitelere çok yakın hem de çok huzurlu bir yerdi. Çalışanlar çok ilgiliydi. Otelimiz normalde sadece kahvaltı veriyordu ancak ilk gece için akşam yemeği hediyeydi. Odada kahve makinesi yoktu.

Finlandiya’daki lüks ve pahalı bir tesiste ortak alan olarak sadece resepsiyon ve restoranın olması, hiçbir spa veya sauna alanının olması büyük eksik.
• CassiaFoo (10/5): Try it once and you may love it - LOVE LOVE LOVE the atmosphere and the scenery. So magical and beautiful. The hotel reception was responsive and helpful with our queries before arrival. Check-in was a breeze, and they explained the various necessities clearly. Our package came with a main course for dinner (which we didn’t know, oops). Due to the check-in time, we went to explore the nearby village. When we finally entered the room, our luggage had been neatly placed. Everything we need is available in the room; nothing much for us to be picky about. Last but not least, the Aurora tablet was so helpful. We were lucky the tablet sounded when we were in the room, and there was a strong sighting.

• Natalya (10/5): A magical place right next to Santa Claus Village - This is hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything was top-notch, from the high-end service to the incredibly friendly staff. Staying in a glass-domed igloo was a dream come true - it allowed us to watch the sky all night long in hopes of catching the Northern Lights. They even have a special alert system to notify you when the Aurora appears! ​The New Year’s Eve dinner was exquisite, featuring gourmet dishes, and we even got to try reindeer meat. The breakfast was equally amazing. We spent a truly magical New Year’s night here and will cherish the warmest memories of this place forever.

The igloos are so beautiful, very nice equipped and warm even on the coldest weather. The staff is so professional and welcoming. Sin embargo, teniendo en cuenta el precio de 1.500 € por una sola noche (que en la práctica fueron unas horas, porque el check-in fue a las 16), mis expectativas eran mucho más altas. Por ese importe, espero que todo esté absolutamente perfecto, y lamentablemente no fue así. Al llegar, encontre bastantes pelos en las almohadas que no eran míos, los albornoces estaban mal doblados, y el aire acondicionado en modo caliente expulsaba aire frío, lo cual resultó bastante incómodo. Quizá para algunas personas estos detalles puedan parecer menores, pero yo valoro la experiencia en función de lo que he pagado, y a ese nivel de precio no debería haber ningún fallo. Por desgracia, para lo que cuesta, la estancia dejó bastante que desear.

A moins de 10 minutes de marche pour atteindre le village du père noël et les alertes pour les aurores nous avons eu cette chance d'avoir un soir avec les aurores boréales honnêtement tout était parfait apaisant notre dernier soir plusieurs jours serait parfait mais pas dans notre budget... Difficile de ne pas apprécier sincèrement un endroit magique sauf si la nature n'est pas votre plaisir...
• Coastal51107571088 (4/5): A meh place in a beautifully country with overwhelmed staff - Nice, but basic rooms. The staff seems overwhelmed by the busy season. We were suppose to have adjoining rooms and they messed up the reservation, didn’t have the correct rooms, and then said it was not their mistake. Subsequently discovered it was the hotel mistake. We had rooms but with young kids the non-connected rooms were a big issue. The idea of the place is to he able to see the lights from inside. They had window heaters to melt ice outside and be able to see. Ours didn’t work and the staff insisted they did even after hours of contrary evidence. For a good service experience I’d stay somewhere else. It’s also close to town and has tremendous light pollution. For a better experience I’d stay farther from town (this is really right in the main drag), but we knew the location going in so that is our fault. General recommend against.

• MClub_Travel (4/5): After service was disappointing - We came as a group under Premium Holiday on 28/12/25, checking out on 29/12/25. The hotel is nice and clean but the after service was poor. My 5 yr old child left his teddy bear which he was attached to since birth at the hotel under the blankets and we notified the hotel 6 hours after leaving that we have left it in the room. The Receptionist noted she will need to check with another department about this but there was no reply until we call again the next day and she just plainly answered “not found”. As a hotel in this price range and star rating, I would expect more helpful services could be provided. This is a valuable item for a kid and a sad ending for him after his visit at the Santa Clause Village in which we thought the igloos stay would be a precious experience. Would hope the customer service could really help to look into this and really set up a lost and found area for its guest.

The food at the restaurant was good I think the staff would need to be more flexible in helping transport staff who might have some mobility issues to their igloos especially if it’s further away using the small vehicle. This would value add to the service provided.

• Nance (5/5): Sítio lindíssimo, mas não justifica o preço. O quarto era muito frio. - Localização e telhado de vidro Temperatura do quarto: fazia muito frio e o ar condicionado não dava para aumentar mais que 22, mas nunca atingia essa temperatura. Para além de fazer muito barulho.
• Soo Chin (9/5): Will atay again if its cheaper. - walkable distance to santa claus village and the room is big. Can cast netflix. Room can potentially seen aurora. Saw it on the ig when i left. Love the pancake making machine for breakfast and complimentary dinner. Thanks. No aurora those three days we stayed as it was just so overcasted. Not to blame the property. The outdoor bath area has no proper walking steps when it snowed, perhaps can build higher walking path. Scramble eggs for breakfast was salty. Room was not completely make up for the second day when we were there. Only threw rubbish and never really cleaned up or make the bed. Property is too ex perhaps due to the good location.

• Lou5716 (10/5): Fantastic stay - We arrived too early to check in & the reception staff were friendly. We were able to leave our luggage so we could go & explore. We arrived back quite late & the staff had already moved our bags to our igloo - nice touch because we were tired. Breakfast was good - lots of choice - bacon, sausages, toast, cereal, cakes. Reception area was clean, welcoming. Toilets were clean. Loved the igloo. Heated floors. Very warm & cosy. There was a tablet that had a wake up alarm, message service to reception, & alarm if the northern lights were visible. Not the cheapest but we loved it & would choose the same again Recommend it

• CAMILLE (10/5): An amazing experience - The glass igloo was warm and cosy, very comfortable and so beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A buggy was provided to drop off and pick up your bags from your cabins which was great as there was a lot of snow. The buffet breakfast was amazing, large selection of options. • Song Leong (2/5): Worst stay of my EU trip - The staff were not rude. So it's more about the facility being built more to cater for family with kids not for couple or adult having fun imo. Heard from others that their ceiling heater stopped working entirely, which I am grateful that it works well for my room. Since I dont use it much anyway due to half of them being blocked and the main building light obstructing the needs to take photo from inside the room. :') The weather were quite cloudy and rainy so the chances of seeing starlit night or northen light were low. So I requested earlier that I wanted a room with good view. As per them all room has good view but it ended up that half of my room view is blocked by a tree. And the location being close to the office means the spotlight/building light were even more disturbing considering you can't off them and the tree reflects the light from there, esp when u try to take picture to see if you can see northen light. The staff attitude were alright but they said all other room were full so they couldnt change for us. However I can see my neighbouring room being unoccupied for few nights and it seems that they didnt bother to entertain us to ensure we have a good time. Especially since we paid the stay on premium (this is on late November). Overall in this aspect we never get to hear the so-called Northen light alarm work even once, although I get to take some Aurora photo (only) outside the room (have to walked out some distance in the snow all thanks to them giving me such a room w "nice view") To take dinner at nearby restaurant it can only be done through reservation throught their online tablet, which didnt work once and they said they never receive the message. Shouldnt they include the confirmation in the tablet if that is the only way to make reservation? It is difficult to plan things around including dinner time since the igloo is a good distance away from the SCV. And we often have to wait quite long. Breakfast and dinner were both so-so. We tried food from Rovaniemi town and SCV and they were tastier. The toilet design is quite bad as the shower area were not properly separated from the dry area, so the water will kind of flood to other area of toilet and the flooring design wont make them flow away, which causes inconvenience that requires yourself to "sweep" the water away.
