- Lorraine (6/5): - The staff were helpful and the rooftop restaurant was excellent with great views across the lake. The room was okay but the bathroom required updating and cleaning. The shower curtain, sink and extractor fan were dirty and the towels were stained. The room facing the street was also very noisy as the area below was used as a parking area for motorbikes.
- Martin (10/5): A pleasant stay - I liked this hotel. It is quirky - an old haveli, rooms are all interesting and the landing areas between them have seating / meeting areas - cool and pleasant spaces. The room towels are a non-original shade of grey. Not dirty at all but not new I suppose. The dining area has a clear view of the lake and above it is more seating again with glorious views. The breakfast is comprehensive - some lovely pancakes - and the service there is excellent.

- Grace (10/5): - This hotel had Great Lake views, very peaceful and serene. It was slightly off the main drag so quieter street and not immediately in the fray upon leaving hotel. Staff was always polite, helpful, friendly. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. Highly recommend!

- Aryan (2/5): Very poor - The Staffs. The room and bathroom was very very small. The price is very high. It is way too expensive for the quality they provide and the location is not that great. WiFi is not working. There is no buffet breakfast, only make to order. Choice is very less and mostly Indian food. The breakfast is pure veg. They don’t even serve eggs.

- Anthony (7/5): Great location check others nearby before booking! - Central location Very noisy at night. Rooms can be overpriced compared to others in the same hotel. There are lots of other accommodation options nearby - check a few before making decision. Wifi was poor / non existent in room

- Thijmen (7/5): Good - The location was great, the view from the roof terrace stunning, and the rooms were beautiful. I didn’t like that we had to pay through their separate system under the guise that they couldn’t charge our card, but if we failed to pay or would cancel they could and would charge it. So, make sure you check everything and that they don’t still end up charging your card anyway.
- Clara (6/5): Amazing views and good food in the rooftop! - The best daal makhani in India! Must try the food in the restaurant - amazing location and also great view in udaipur! The staff were friendly and always accommodated to our needs - helping with luggage and organising transport needs etc. It was extremely noisy up until 3am and then again at 7am from the other hotel guests. I think the noise issue can be better managed by the staff. As such, we didn’t sleep very well which was frustrating.

- Sidharth (5/5): Great staff but below expectations - The staff was excellent and very supportive. I would mention that I checked out earlier than planned and even though the booking was non refundable, the management was very thoughtful and refunded the remaining amount still. Location was great next to the lake. Sheets had stains, walls had large marks which should have been painted. Toilet was smelling and filled with mold patches. The reason we checked out earlier than planned was the noise insulation- it was non existent and we could hear every sound, conversation in every room, making it very hard to sleep. The property could benefit from a serious improvement in deep cleaning and sound proofing.

The service was wonderful, we’ve been treated like ministers into their 5stars hotel ! A personal very kind, helpful, present and a very beautiful hotel that are a veritable peace of art : a museum ! Every floor has handmade art in mewar style, that’s crazy ! And the rooftop is just amazing I have to say that the only thing little dnit disapointed is to not have the breakfast on the rooftop outside !

- Andrew (9/5): Superb - It was a wonderful time and experience. The staff were so sweet snd helpful, really went out of their way to make things more pleasant for us. The showers were lovely and warm and we had all the coffee and iced tea we could drink. The owner had great contact for tours or getting to the airport. Took all the brain damage out of trying to figure things out. I would come here again and send all our friends. Truly a great bargain and a beautiful place! I would gave liked softer pillows and a pad on the bench. Small things.
- Duncan (7/5): Good - Well located in the older section of Udaipur close to Lal Ghat & Ganganour Ghat. Hotel staff are very good; rooftop dining is great Again, like other hotels Mewar Haveli have ceased accepting credit cards as a result of the cost over the COVID period; an ATM is 50m away
- Nasir (8/5): Very good - Everything was very satisfactory. Especially their rooftop restaurant and food. However, we were not happy with the size of the room. Also, we were expecting the room with 1 extra-large double bed and 1 futon bed but we got only 1 large double bed.So make sure before booking which option you are getting.
- Jennifer (10/5): Excellent - Excellent service of warm and welcoming staff. I wanted to host a small bridal shower and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They took care of our transport, helped us get around and took care of all our needs. The room was comfortable and clean and centrally located. The food was as delicious. Better than many places I have tried in lal gaht. Will definitely return to Hotel Mewar Haveli. I loved everything
- Laura (6/5): Didn't quite meet expectations - The staff seemed pretty helpful and helped us arrange a taxi. The views of the lake from the rooftop restaurant are beautiful. The location is ideal for exploring the lake. I got ill whilst staying here. I'm not sure whether it was something I ate at the hotel or could've been something else. We accidentally booked two nights instead of one and weren't allowed to cancel one of the nights. We paid before arrival via bank transfer but then got charged again after our stay. We did get refunded after contacting the hotel but be careful with this. The room didn't really look like the photos and could've done with updating, especially the bathroom.

- Shailaja (9/5): Lovely traditional style hotel in Old City - Great budget boutique hotel, in an excellent location in the Old City. Fantastic lake view and a rooftop restaurant is there too. Very aesthetic rooms. Food options are a little limited.

- Mark (10/5): lovely lakeside Haveli with beautiful views - great views over the lake. perfect for sunset. staff is friendly and food was tasty. facilities were clean and the vibe of the place was positive and pleasant. Live music went on a bit later than I would have liked but it is winter holidays and a lot of tourists in town so this is understandable.
