- Alby (10/5): We had a relaxing and family-friendly stay, with convenient pool access and a comfortable atmosphere overall - We stayed in a ground-floor room facing the pool, which was perfect with kids because we could easily step outside and keep an eye on them while they played in the shallow area. The pool area was clean, quiet, and very family-friendly. The room was comfortable overall, but the bathroom could be improved with better ventilation since there was no exhaust fan.

Piscina incalzita, magazin la proprietate, aproape de Mercadona supermarket. Poți ajunge pe jos la far si plimba către dunele de nisip. Mic bar langa piscina principala cu vedere la ocean. Au si sala de gym si fac si masaj contra cost pentru pereche era 100 de euro ceea ce mi se pare incredibil ca si pret. Lipsa mașinei de spălat rufe. Noroc ca am avut si perne extra deoarece cele mari nu se pot dormi pe ele.

- 525suzb (8/5): Exceeded my expectations, and an enjoyable time had! - I booked a last minute Easter holiday here for my son and I. After reading some of the reviews I was a little sceptical of what I had booked, but we had a really enjoyable time. We booked a superior double room and had a great room upstairs over looking the larger pool. 2 great sun loungers on the balcony, alongside a table and 2 chairs which got the sun all day. The room was comfortable and whilst basic, was very clean and had better facilities than some 4* plus accomodations. Our room had a large fridge, kettle and a dolce gusto machine. There was also water and cava in the room on arrival too. All of the swimming pools are heated which is a rare find and there was no sun bed wars despite it being school holidays with an abundance of available sunbeds and on many occasions we had the swimming pool to ourselves! We stayed bed and breakfast and were pleased with the selection, whilst not extensive there was always something to have and every day I was able to get a freshly made omlette. We found the location to be excellent, less than 10 minute walk to Meloneras beach and commercial centre, where we enjoyed a couple of meals at La Ruta and Ciao Ciao and around 15 minutes walk the other way to the lighthouse and the many restaurants and shops and also the start of the sand dunes. I had hired a car from the airport with plus car who were very reasonably priced and there is plenty of parking outside the accomodation. We found all of the staff on reception to be lovely and very helpful. We also visited taste pool bar most nights and again service was great. All in all we had a great stay and we would not hesitate to return!
- rowley136 (8/5): Location for us was good. - Location is good, the rooms are ok, the value not sure, cleanliness is good, Noise in our part was good, Service when you arrive not good mainly because they give you a map of where your room is but this can be miss leading when you are looking for it, a number on the wall with an arrow for the lower rooms would help especially in the dark. I had to help two couples in their 80's in the dark that were about to go back to reception for help . Yes we would go back.

We stayed 4 nights in this accommodation and we appreciated the location (close to the seafront), the spacious room, the cleanliness of the room and also the surroundings, the large pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast, evening shows and the fact that we could park the car nearby. The hotel provides towels for the swimming pool and it is located in a quiet area.

- Hartford2701 (10/5): Very Impressed excellent staff - This is our second time here and we really like it My wife was ill last few days and we have had to extend our trip for an extra 3 days as she couldn’t fly The receptionist staff (jorge and Omar) were excellent allowing us to keep our existing room for the extra 3 days Jet 2 were great swapping flights at a great price (did not rip us off at all) All the staff here restaurant pool man and cleaning staff were so friendly and genuinely want to do there best to make your holiday enjoyable If you are after a relaxed place where you can walk to maspalomes or meloneras for some more life if you want it’s a great spot Pool bar staff all brilliant as well even getting a takeaway sorted to our room when my wife could not get to the restaurant one night Would we come for a third visit Yes definitely

Personale non orientato a soddisfare le esigenze della clientela. 2 day-off (nessuna pulizia camera) alla settimana. Sempre il personale, faceva diversi errori tra cui mancanza di comunicazione adeguata verso il cliente, asciugamani non cambiati. La struttura è bella ma non curata, abbastanza sporca e un po’ rovinata, magari qualche lavoro di ritrutturazione come ad esempio alla reception anzichè della plastica sul tetto chiuderlo con delle finestre..

- davidwU6002RV (10/5): Excellent customer service - My wife and I normally go to a 5 Star hotel in Puerto Rico but, having made plans to meet with friends, we decided to go to Caybeach apartments in Meloneras and gave not been disappointed. The apartments are clean and spacious and the layout of the complex is excellent with plenty of facilities for all ages.The staff have been excellent...I would particularly like to pay credit to Omar who works in reception. Not only is he very friendly and professional but goes over and beyond to help clients...he is a credit to the hotel and deserves to be recognised...nanythanjs to him for making our holiday so enjoyable....we will be back again.
- TouringScotsGirl (6/5): Too many negatives to return! - We stayed for 4nights, having booked reasonably late in February for a March stay there was only a classic double room on a B&B basis available. The hotel is definitely on the cheaper side of hotel accommodation in the area. All other hotels seemed to be the huge corporate complexes. But to be honest our preference is the smaller style so were happy enough. But can’t believe that paying for room safes and tv remotes is a necessary additional cost?! The location was good for us but be aware it’s a good 1.3km away to nearest shops/restaurants/bars. There is an exit gate at the pool bar side which we only found by accident as we weren’t made aware, which takes you down onto the promenade, doesn’t shorten the distance though tbh but is a more pleasant walk. The hotel footprint is a bit maze like with lots of steps to navigate with cases depending where your room is and then the room we were allocated was through a secure key entry door up a set of stairs and then our room door with our key. We assumed that only we had access as there was no other room evident, only a locked door marked “private” so assumed maybe housekeeping supplies were stored here as we were at the furthest most corner of the complex. However, leaving for breakfast the first morning there was a cigarette butt left on paper just inside our door, we queried access with the Jet2 rep who spoke to reception and showed a pic (see attached) they said they would deal with it, but the next morning there was another?? Never happened again and was removed! Made us a little weary about access though! The room was alright, fridge, kettle, cups and glasses provided although no tea/coffee supplies. Towels were a bit worn and thin and pillows were lumpy and unpleasant. The balcony got what sun decided to come out during day and as we were on the road side lots of coaches and cars and even camper vans parked up so absolutely no privacy, but I was very aware the security camera looked directly into our balcony (see pic) which I didn’t appreciate despite being aware why they may wish security at the very back of the hotel this could have been applied better I feel. Breakfast was decent but hot items were not particularly warm and given there was strong winds during our stay everyone obviously wanted to be indoors which was an issue for space and table seating in the limited space and at some places absolutely freezing, coats required at breakfast. Storm Therese arrived during our stay, which wasn’t too bad really however during the worst of the wind and rain the hotel doesn’t have any good indoor space to get away from your room - especially since it was such a walk to anywhere in bad weather! We would have liked to sit somewhere have a drink out the elements but we became very familiar with our room unfortunately for that day! We wouldn’t choose to stay here again, although other room types looked better appointed when walking through the complex, but to be honest the area didn’t appeal too much either other than the promenade walk which we used daily, we just made the most of our stay as best we could.

Propere zwembaden met goede ligzetels. Goeie wifi overal. Goeie brede bedden en voldoende lakens en dekbedden. Prijs-kwaliteit goed en rustige omgeving zonder nachtlawaai. wij hadden heel grote kamer met ontbijt, mogelijkheid om avondmaal te nuttigen mits betaling ter plaatse maar nogal prijzig om er te blijven eten. wel paar goeie restaurants in de buurt. Badkamer wat verouderd maar proper en deuren en schuiframen naar terras niet winddicht.

- 328cathiew (8/5): Fabulous holiday accommodation sadly let down by their reception staff - The hotel is a great value option,especially the superior apartments which are all ground floor and have sunbeds and full garden furniture on their garden sun terraces. The beds / pillows are comfy,the apartments large and well equipped. The showers have plenty of hot water with good water pressure. They are generally clean although the decor could do with updating in places. There are no sunbed wars here,plenty of sun loungers to go round. The pools are all clean and warm. The breakfast selection is good and plentiful although not luxury. We used the dining room microwave to heat up water for our tea as the drinks dispenser water was not hot enough. Likewise we warmed up porridge and scrambled eggs that were not hot enough for us in the breakfast hall. We paid to have dinner on two nights and it was good value plentiful and but not luxury. The onsite supermarket, the pool bar and onsite self service laundry are all very handy additional services. The hotel is a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the shops and restaurants near the Faro lighthouse. Meloneras is fabulous. A ten minute walk takes you to a huge Mercadona Supermarket. Housekeeping, room cleaning and towel changing was regular (none on Wednesdays or Sundays) but remember to hang the sign on your outside door handle daily, to say you want the maid to visit. All the staff are asolutely lovely and go the extra mile for you to enjoy your stay. BUT the reception staff are the fly on the ointment,they are surly,grumpy and very unhelpful. We emailed a couple of months ahead to request a bright airy quiet room as we read that some rooms are a little dark and we are both light sleepers. When we checked in the reception guy said he had read our email but proceeded to give us probably one of the worst rooms for noise on the whole complex. Room 6011 backs onto a busy road, with a roundabout directly outside our garden. The rear exit gate for the complex was adjacent to our room,so a constant flow of people coming and going whilst we sunbathed in the garden. Worse of all we had the kiddies play area directly next door to the room. We we are in our 60's and love kids but not their constant shreaking in the play park right outside our room. Reception said there were no other rooms available for us but that clearly was not true as some rooms were never used at all during our stay. We almost felt like the reception did it on purpose because we emailed in advance with specific requests. Why the complex's owners do nothing to tackle the frequent complaints about Reception is beyond me, as it really let's down what would otherwise get a 5 star review from us. It would not stop us from returning as the complex is really great, but next time we will not be accepting a room location which was the polar opposite of what we asked for.

- lindsaym26 (2/5): Worst customer service ever - Terrible experience here. Was ok until the 2nd last nite when our bathroom ceiling fell in and we had to switch rooms at 3am. The workman told us our new room was “directly above us”. It was not. We walked around in the rain in our pyjamas trying to find our new room, I went to reception and was told they “couldn’t speak English” so couldn’t help me. We finally found it, but it really the workman should have taken us to it. Absolute nightmare and no customer service at all.
- 557sammm (8/5): 3rd visit - Had an apt this time on sc basis. Really spacious, 2 sunbeds outside and table chairs. Plus table and chairs inside and double bedroom with twin beds. Nice shower. Lots of storage. We had 5081 which was right next to a house but there wasnt hardly any noise. We had an issue with the sink plug and hot water both were replaced quickly including a new boiler. Caybeach has 3 lovely heated pools loads of sunbeds no issues. Taste on site bar for drinks food and entertainment. Handy location. Turn right at seafront for more traditional restaurants la proa etc, ice cream, supermarket and sunset view cafe great for lunch or drinks. Left is the melonares upmarket area with lots of places to eat. Not forgetting the only late bar 19th hole in varadero centre for live music duos and chris mooney fab guitarist singer. We will be back.

We had requested a quiet apartment and got that with a lovely large balcony with beds, chairs and table. Sun on balcony all day. Breakfast was good. Bar entertainment very good and staff very nice. Overall a great experience.

- Dorien (8/5): Heerlijke, relaxed en gezellig☀️ - Ruime en schone kamers met lekkere bedden en een goede airco. Er was van alles een supermarktje, poolbar, midgetgolf en fijne zwembaden. Vanuit onze kamer lagen we al aan het zwembad. Balkon lag aan een straatje en was eigenlijk te warm om te zitten. Geen wind en geen parasol. Maar dat is een luxeprobleem.

- Marinus (8/5): Fijn appartement, goede prijs/kwaliteit. Serviceniveau moet beter. - Caybeach Meloneras beviel ons zeker. De ligging is top (net buiten de drukte, maar op ongeveer 10 minuten loopafstand van de Maspalomas vuurtoren. Restaurantjes redelijk dichtbij, goede supermarkt (Marcedonas) ook op loopafstand, maar met zware tas toch best een eindje. Het appartementje was van alle gemakken voorzien, je kunt er ook koken, hoewel het tweede kookplaatje wel erg klein is. Net voldoende keukengerei. Wij hebben vaak gekookt, omdat het eten in de restaurants niet over houdt, vet en veel gefrituurd. Zwembad, kleine supermarkt en bar op het terrein van Caybeach. Tuinen extreem goed verzorgd, fijne gym. Hygiene/schoonmaak uitstekend, vaak handdoekwisseling en schone lakens. Bedkwaliteit was ruim voldoende/goed, voor ons heel belangrijk, we waren er langere tijd. Heerlijk terrasje, waar je heerlijk kunt genieten van de zon, die aanvoelt als lentezon in januari (ca. 23 graden). De bar/restaurant heeft iedere avond entertainment, ca 1,5 uur. Over het algemeen van matige kwaliteit. Soulzangeres Tracey Mae (zaterdag) is daarop een uitzondering, zij heeft een toffe show. Wij zaten in apartement 4051. Goeie plek, dicht bij de faciliteiten en ook gunstig qua zon. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding: okay. Niet goedkoop, maar voor de omgeving (Meloneras) goede midprice. Januari kent hoge prijzen hier. Servicelevel, mwah.... Het personeel vonden wij niet supervriendelijk of servicegericht. Nors. En dat geldt eigenlijk voor alle onderdelen van het hotel, bar, supermarkt, receptie. Schoonmaak vriendelijk, maar spreekt enkel Spaans. We hadden een inbraak in ons appartement (geld gestolen) en de receptie was niet bepaald behulpzaam in dezen. We vonden ze zelfs redelijk onvriendelijk op momenten. De manager liet zich niet zien, ondanks problemen met het boeken van een extra nacht en de inbraak. Het serviceniveau moet beter, sluit (nog) niet aan bij de statuur van Caybeach.

- Sheila1964 (8/5): Great complex. Great location - I like this complex. I love where it is - just a 15 minute walk to Meloneras beach and bars/restaurants there. And then a lovely 20 minute walk along the promenade to the Lighthouse and an even better choice of bars/restaurants. This was my third stay here and while I will always sing its praises the accommodation is starting to look a little tired. I wouldn’t let it stop me staying there but some apartments could do with a spruce up. I found the reception staff friendlier this time and the same of the pool bar staff. The staff all seem happy in their work. My apartment didn’t get any sun at all during the day which was a shame but I was very close to the lower pool so used that until the sun had moved on and I moved to the upper pool for later afternoon sun. I looked enviously at the apartments overlooking the back which seemed to get the sun on their terrace all day. Next time I’ll try and make a specific request. As my apartment was down the far end the walk to the reception/bar/mini supermarket/pool was tiresome when you do it more than twice a day (& I don’t mind a walk). I had a ground floor self catering apartment with a kitchenette which was fairly well stocked but (if the management are reading this) I didn’t have a chopping board, a colander, a wooden spoon, spatula or frying pan. As I alternated eating in and out these things would’ve been nice to have. They supply washing up stuff - liquid, sponge and cloth and soap/shower gel in the bathroom. The shower was excellent. Good force of water. Sometimes there was a drainy smell in the bathroom. The TV only has two British channels - BBC1 & 2. You pay a deposit for the remote which is returned when you leave. Pools - all fab. Plenty of sunbeds and no towel reserving that I saw. You can hire pool towels for €10. Pool bar - great on-site facility that provides the evening entertainment if that’s your thing. The food in the bar is good and a good choice of drinks albeit slightly pricier than the bars at the beach (but you pay for the convenience). I used the gym this visit which was really useful although a soulless place. Nobody spoke to anybody. Maybe could do with some music on but I do appreciate there are times it sits empty. The complex itself is well looked after and attractive. I will return but please can I have a sunnier terrace next time?
