Very nice staffs. Very clean. Very healthy breakfasts. It is really perfect for me for 10 days plus 1 more day adding later for waiting my ferry. Very clean. One time , The big group of guests came at late night were too loud! To wake me up. But that is without hotel control;)
• Jonathan (5/5): I love Patmos and my hotel room had a view of Hora. However I felt the hotel could have been better - I really love Patmos and the previous hotel I stayed at was closed. So I booked Hotel Effie on recommendations. I liked the location and felt the price was reasonable No water or tea making facilities were provided which I had got at previous locations. The reception was unmanned and it was only because of previous visits to Patmos I knew my way round and didn’t need help.
• David (9/5): Comfortable and relaxing hotel. - Breakfast was cold buffet continental style. Hotel was in a pleasant setting in a quiet location but a short walk from the resort centre with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. To reach the hotel there was a bit of a hill to walk up.

• Konstantinos (10/5): Exceptional - The service is exceptional, with extremely welcoming and accommodating staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is situated in a central location, within walking distance to Scala and all the amenities. A great choice for accommodation in Patmos.

• Maria (6/5): Pleasant - Friendly staff, reception always availiable, very good location in skala. Room not so clear, 4 days no change of towels, breakfast not renewed when something was finished, old and not maintained room amenities.

Location and services at walking distance, out of the noise of central Skala. They also provided transportation to and from the port Nothing

• Maggie (9/5): Felt like staying with family that you enjoy 😊 - Hotel Effie is in a very central location and most things are just a few minutes away. I walked almost everywhere because things were so close. Right from leaving the ship, the hotel is just a few minutes to reach without a car. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and always had an idea for daily activities even when I didn't. I felt cared for and taken care of. The facilities are clean and the surroundings are like a picture from a travel guide. Very peaceful atmosphere and simplistic charm. I would definitely visit again! There was a little noise transfer from the street and hotel halls, but that's understandable for the time of year with heavy island tourism and activities. Not at all the fault of the hotel.

• Marina (7/5): Nice and clean - Located close to the center of Skala, very clean and quiet. Excellent view over the Chora, parking available. Clean room and clean hotel. Breakfast was very basic but since it was included in the price, it’s ok.

• Pawel (8/5): Cozy and clean stay in the center of Skala - We really liked our stay, the person received us very warm and was very helpful. It felt like staying at relatives home ;) the location is calm and close to port and restaurants. The room was cleaned every day. I liked that the room has 2 balconies and the view was amazing, and I loved the bougainvilleas. The beds were a bit too hard and the bathroom was small and it would get all wet during shower. Breakfast was ok for a few days, but a bit too simple, it could have a toaster, some fresh fruits and more tea flavours.

• Jonathan (8/5): Good stay - We had a good stay. Good quiet location. The rooms are simple but have everything you'd need. It was very clean. Very nice breakfast with a good selection. It has quite a few different outlooks, over the courtyard, views towards Chora, and out to the rear. All are pleasant and peaceful, but they do seem to have different sized balconies. It seems to be family run and all the staff we encountered were really friendly, helpful and kind. I would definitely stay there again. It did have the classic issue of the inffectual shower-curtain which floods the bathroom floor, but not a big problem.

Accommodating reception desk The rooms were dirty and outdated. Very small for 2 people. With better cleaning staff and an updated room this hotel could be a 5 star
