- Jack (7/5): Good location. Alright room. Nice breakfast - Room size was good. Shower was fast. Breakfast was nice Bathroom door would shut. Rather have a walk up breakfast but understand that you can ask for me if you want
- griffin (10/5): Lovely visit to the Dunoon - The room was very clean, toilets , bath and shower .
Carpet wasn't great , but it was a doggy room so can appreciate it is a nightmare keeping them immaculate . Staff in the dinner room were lovely , friendly and very professional. Credit to them all. Also bed was very comfortable and bedding was immaculate. On entering i did think what the heck . But it is very quirky which I wasn't use to .
- Christina (9/5): Wonderful staff lovely - The decor was old style and very well done Felt very as The lift was a great for access to the rooms
- Slater (10/5): Good location, comfy hotel - Old style traditional hotel.
Polite staff, accommodating, comfy, nice breakfast Car-park, hard to find as away from main hotel grounds, just lucky I saw the sign at the last minute, also some bad parking preventing about 4 places able to be used.
- Guest (7/5): -
- Frank (8/5): - Ambiance. Friendly services. Old school
Biscuits in rooms.
Better understanding of gluten free.(though not bad at all)
- Gillian (7/5): Great location and brilliant staff. - Location was excellent and parking not a problem.
The staff were brilliant, polite, professional and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Our bathroom was very small.
- David (10/5): -
- Christopher (9/5): - Room was a great size and clean , big comfortable bed and lovely staff If im being picky the breakfast was luke warm at best and scrambled egg bit sloppy. But great choice of cereals , yoghurt etc
- Jeff (7/5): Pleasant stay, good location, parking limited, room expensive - Central location. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Lacks finishing touches to make it a 4 star rating hotel. Had a general feeling of being dated and in need of some improvements, eg curtain fittings, uncomfortable modern sofa, poor Tea Coffee Tray
- Suzywong (8/5): Good stay - Location, cleanliness breakfast was really good đ Outside noise, no coathangers no teabags
- ć (9/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): - There's parking at the Hotel which is usually a problem with Llandudno. Could do with a couple more electric sockets.
- Charito (10/5): Overall, we had a wonderful, memorable, and lovely stay at the Dunoon Hotel. - The breakfast room exceeded my expectations. All the cold and cooked food was excellent. The lounge, bedroom, bathroom, and every corner of the hotel looked superb. I donât think there was anything that put me off.

- Amanda (10/5): Just perfect, Thank You! - Everything!
From the moment I booked this stay to the minute we checked out i recieved the most excellent customer service. The Hotel manager, Charlotte went the extra mile to accommodate for my disabled mother and I. The room was perfect and very comfortable for us both.
The restaurant manager Bethan (i think) was so lovely and waited on us both like queens all weekend and was very tolerant of my mum chatting the leg off her!
Thank you so much for making my mum's stay just perfect and so memorable for us both, she's not stopped going on about it since we got home!! Nothing.
It was perfect.
- Wayne (8/5): A lovely charming old fashioned hotel. Good service and food. I will come back. - General surroundings were very good indeed. A lovely old fashioned sumptuous hotel

The staff in the dining area were exceptionally well trained.
Very efficient with Very nice food.
- Alexander (8/5): Very good - Staff were very help full.
In regard to the parking, a number of cars had not parked properly ( taking up more than one space, these were mainly LARGER Cars)..
It needs a policy to ask people to park more consideratly
We did manage to get parking on the street very close to Hotel. See above box
- C (10/5): great stay in a comfortable room and relaxing atmosphere - very comfortable with a beautiful interior and great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff
- colin (9/5): - Traditional feel -friendly staff Bit of confusion re check in as hotel said not paid and yet booking.com confirmation to me said otherwise - anyway paid hotel direct and staff helpful especially as about to close for Xmas

- Stephen (10/5): Group of friends visited all very happy - Great location excellent staff nice cosy hotel Everything
- David (10/5): - Old world style, very nice Staff were very friendly and helpful
- Wendy (8/5): Although I wasnât very well, I was glad of a large bedroom to rest in. - Stayed before and we like the added rooms that have been refurbished in the extra part of hotel, room 102 is very good.
- Mavis (8/5): Stayed at the hotel many times, clients appear to be repeat clients - Very comfortable
Good ambience Happy with the stay
- Gary (7/5): -
- Peter (10/5): -
- kapalichawla (5/5): Overpriced for the quality provided for stay and breakfast - Staff serving breakfast was good.
Location was the best especially because we were traveling via public transport, and not car. So, made it easy to go around. Breakfast options were meagre. Although breakfast being served fresh based on your order, it lacked quality, presentation and taste.
Room was cramped, looked nothing like the pics on booking. There was no separate sofa seating area in the room as was publicized in the pics on booking.com.
Bathroom barely had space to stand properly.
Property is too creaky, like every step you put forward you think how many people you could be disturbing.
Could hear muffled voices from next door - especially in the silence of the night.
Staff was barely freindly i would say. They did put themselves first and not guest first. Were uptight. Breakfast staff was good though - young people who wanted to communicate with guests.
- Tracy (10/5): Perfect for a couple of nights away - Lovely building in the perfect position. Staff all polite and helpful
- Val (8/5): - Very nice breakfast and helpful staff for the toaster setting the smoke alarm off !
- Grimbley (9/5): -
- Carol (9/5): Lovely hotel, good location. - Lovely friendly staff.
Our room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was okay.
Ordered a full Welsh.
Didnât like the bacon, it was too thick and could have been cooked a bit longer. BUT this my opinion, others may like it that way.
Please get a better toaster, very slow, not user friendly.
- Gaye Griffiths (10/5): - Brilliant. Loved everything. Breakfast outstanding. Loved the room. Staff were lovely.
- martin (10/5): Famliy owned and run hotel , so has a lovley feel - I really enjoyed the traditional feel of the hotel it has real character and charm. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was lovely meeting family members who own the hotel; they made the whole experience feel personal and homely. They had a piano there , loved playing it . nothing
- Maria (6/5): A blast from the past in need of TLC - The staff were nice. Good breakfast. It was very tired. Bath was yellow, towels were yellow. Shower was pathetic . Stains on chair. Carpet old and stained . The whole place needs up dating
- Annette (9/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Clean, central, value for money. - The location was only round the corner from the venue i attended. Oldie worldie.
- Lee (8/5): -
- Kevin (9/5): Short excellent stay. - Everything was clean tidy and professional.staff very helpful breakfast was all that you needed and the room was clean tidy . Only the bath was a bit tight to get into to use the shower but apart from that everything was ok.fir my stay
- james (9/5): Excellent staff, reception were brilliant and breakfast staff were excellent. I will definitely book again. - Original and traditional. Nothing
- Tbims01 (10/5): Great hotel sw - Great location, third year on the trot I've stayed and I'll be back next year Didn't get to breakfast this year, but my fault
- Richard (10/5): - Very nice hotel and staff, good nights sleep and very clean
- Roger (5/5): -
- Roger (7/5): -
- Nigel (10/5): -
- colin (9/5): - Very traditional hotel with nice atmosphere- lovely served breakfast on white tablecloths which is refreshing change in Llandudno Nothing
- Paul (5/5): - Friendly staff and good location. The room was very dated and in need of a facelift.
- Garry (10/5): - Friendly staff, great decor Nothing
- Rene (9/5): -
- Hughes (10/5): Lovely hotel in a perfect position.
. - Perfect location. Room was lovely and spacious. Staff lovely. Breakfast room was split into 2 areas. Although it was the same food it felt like we were in the cheap seats.
- Kathleen (8/5): Enjoyable - Value for money Yea tray could have been better. No biscuits, no water. yea bags poor quality
- Martin (8/5): - Breakfast very good. Position very good free parking very good Rooms seem to be a little tired
- Lisa (9/5): Really enjoyable and comfortable stay - The staff were really friendly, professional and accommodating.
The hotel itself was a great balance of traditional with modern features. The parking is on street parking and is first come first served. We were lucky and managed to get a spot right outside, but it does get very busy!
- Stephen (9/5): Very pleasant. - Excellent evening meal, very good breakfast, we loved the dining room and bar in the old part of the hotel. Everything was great.
- Ralph (10/5): -
- Michael (7/5): -
- Kev (10/5): Staff were very helpful and attentive. As my stay was for a treat for my Grandson, I asked for a quiet room, ideally wit - Clean, had a cozy atmosphere in a great location. Nothing not to like.
- Kerry (8/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Brilliant - Every thing will be back Nothing
- Moinul (7/5): We spent two nights, the location was great and easy access to all we wanted to do. - Breakfast was good and served at the table, the room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, everything was within walking distance and Conway Castle was only a 12 minute drive. The interior has character however some aspects could be modernised such as card entry instead of key, creaky floorboards in the passageway etc.
- Jonathan (7/5): Great stay, possible to improve somethings but definitely would use it a gain - Space- although the room was tight for a wheelchair. Attentive polite staff, Parking/ instructions regarding it
- Ken (8/5): -
- Val Armor (8/5): - Great location very friendly staff lovely breakfast Nothing really
- Faiz (9/5): Amazing Excellent - The property is quite oriental. Its nice and kind of gives you the classic vibes! I really liked it. The staff was amazing! Everything was nice! Breakfast was also good and upto the mark. Perhaps the only thing was the tv which is quite small.
- Sharon (9/5): A great stay central location charming building lovely room canât fault . - Loved the period building and communal spaces the bar and lounge were lovely, the lift was great as we were on the 3rd floor, very comfortable room with a huge bed , clean and centrally located very convenient for the shops and pier / sea front and we had the pleasure of seeing the sheep come down from the orme into the town. The breakfast was very good we will definitely stay again. Nothing
- Smith (8/5): I enjoyed my stay at the Dunoon Hotel - The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very attentive, it was a pleasant experience Nothing
- Dan (4/5): -
- Mark (10/5): -
- PÄl (8/5): -
- alexis (8/5): -
- Georgina (6/5): Average stay - Positives - Nice breakfast, clean room, good location. Negatives - Staff not so friendly/welcoming, carpets in serious need of replacement, drinks very expensive, noisy road outside.
- Mavis (8/5): Yes we enjoyed our stay, good location for shopping entertainment and walking. - Breakfast included in the price,
Very good.
Dinner at extra cost very enjoyable,
Taking care of my food allergy.
We have stayed at this venue many times,
For the first time we stayed next door which is part of the main hotel, excellent room excellent bed and all very clean. The main hall way carpet looked very shabby at the entrance door.
The original hotel looks quite shabby although it has a very relaxed air to it.
Over all it is very good value, all the guests were
Very nice
- Wrest (2/5): - Very good Not charging for dogs
- Jean (7/5): Great location - old in style - Location is great has an old worldly charm with its dark wood and takes you back to a bygone era but this may not be to everyoneâs liking.
We only stayed overnight for a short time so I was not offended by the aged look.
Breakfast offered all the usual items
- Catherine Proctor (10/5): In total the room was cosy comfy bathroom was clean with soap and showreel , tv was tiny we enjoyed - Lots of chioce at breakfast. We waited a long time for our hit breakfast. With a nine year old autistic child that was challenging. Breakfast was cold. Kind of greasy with very fatty bacon Wait time for breakfast with a child. Food was not warm
- Boyang (10/5): -
- Philip (4/5): Crap - The management were responsive to my complaint The room was pretty awful for the amount of money it cost. This wĂ s our 47th wedding anniversary and my 69th birthday gutted l will not be using booking.com again
- Zelia (10/5): -
- Matthew (9/5): -
- Ay (10/5): -
- Hilary (10/5): -
- Ward (4/5): Bit disappointing for the description as superior single - Room was very small with not enough plugs.
There wasn't a fridge altho a very small noisy one was provided when I asked. Carpet stained and seen better days.
- Adrian Charles (9/5): All was excellent - Excellent Nothing
- David (7/5): We came for the transport festival and the hotel was quite well located for that. - The hotel was quite well located near the sea front and pier. The evening meals we had as an "extra" to our accommodation were very expensive and not particularly good value for money.
- Richard (8/5): Only spoilt by the inconvenience of parking/drop off! - Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and comfortable accommodation. The car park is remote from the hotel and too small to accommodate all the guests. A concreted area at the side of the hotel could be converted to hold more cars. A reserved âloading/ drop off only area could be demarked in front of the hotel. I drove around three times and could not pull up anywhere near the hotel to offload my baggage and check in. Fortunately a friend shuttled me in from the distant parking place for me to check in!!
